I haven't had a issue yet myself, but the other guys in the groups and forums say it's all available in a day or two if it's not in stock. It's a Yanmar motor and most of the parts are standard manufacturers. They don't have a lot of proprietary sizes which is nice.
We got the 50u You get what you pay for. Build quality cheap handles break, pump is noisy but it’s does work Parts take a while to come in at my local dealer. Nothing serious needed yet but I am worried about getting parts for when that time does come. For the minor things we needed everything took over 60 days to get
how does it handle that bucket? I have a sy50u, ive had it for about 3 years. fantastic machine ive had very minimal problems with it. yes i agree its not as comfortable or quiet as a cat/deere, But its been reliable, super strong because i have the wedge coupler. i bought it with 40 hours on craigslist and saved huge. new i would not buy one. let the power of Depreciation and poor USA recognition work in your favor. i saved 20k buying it used.
It handles the 2ft bucket well. You can load up the heaviest wet clay. The 3ft I need to be more careful with. It handles full buckets but I keep the material light in that one. You're absolutely right about the resale, but the price difference upfront was too much. And every name brand I looked at was beat up with 1k hours. So I figured why not go new. I wish I could have found a low hour machine when I was looking. But when I had the money nothing was around.
How accessible are parts? Nice video by the w
