To be honest, in many cultures it is impolite to answer directly, particularly concerning people you do not know well and particularly concerning a negative answer. Western culture is extremely rational and direct. Many other cultures are indirect and implied. I used to be team leader for a (Western) company and had a assaignment/project working with Indian (co)workers. This also involved leading a team. When you directly asked "Did you finish this?" or "Find this out?" or whatever, they would always say yes. You had to find out later that things weren't fixed, but it'd be up to me to place their "yes" in context and listen to the subtle hints in there to figure out they actually meant no or i don't know.

What you guys said about Jewish being used to describe people from Israel and Arab being used to describe anyone else in the middle east is what I've been saying ALL MY LIFE! Jew is a worshiper of Judaism the people are called Hebrews or Israelites. And Arab is to describe anyone of Arabic descent even though that is very vague too there's MANY different Arabic people nowadays and throughout history (I am a history major so I like to know these things). Southern Semitic people are Southern Arabians & some Ethiopians given the extent of Semitic language.

Bloomingdale's is a company that's owned by Federated stores which I believe may have is origins in Germany. Also I guess he didn't realize that Jews are also theoretically a race but it's not really the case it's actually the race is Hebrews. I don't think her photos are trashy I think the idea that they're trashy is nothing outside of racist, the idea that black women are always perpetually perceived as prostitutes. Is totally racist. We just filmed this episode. It was so long I had to split it in two separate videos. The race angle never really crossed my mind. We looked at it from their cultural/religious perspective and found reasons why it would hit a nerve with his family. You'll notice that I'm all for the picture and her being herself. I take serous issue with her double standard of acting as though she wants to integrate into his life, culture, country, while instigating him and his family with what she knows down right offends them. You're right, he wants his cake and to eat it too. He saw these pics before getting with her and it's likely something he loves about her. He's also showing double face as he's trying to represent one world while living another behind closed doors. I take issue with him defending her honor when she won't even defend her own by being honest about her current marriage. Anyways, both vids dropping tomorrow. Enjoy :)

Has she been white or Arab those terms would have never been used and I'm not stupid enough to think anything else. Also you have to keep in mind and maybe you're not aware of that women of all other ethnic groups are very intimidated by sexually attractive black women it is almost every woman's nightmare. It's a hard reality but it's the truth. The only women that are not jealous of black women are Latinas. And there's almost a crossover in that narrative since many Latinas see themselves as a form of black woman. Again she is trying to accommodate him as a reaction to What was promised to her. He told her before she left the United States that he would back her up please review the first episode. I think he is very self-conscious about her identity as many men are when they get involved with black women. You need to consider the race element because it is ingrained into the culture of Arab people. I think people forget that the other side of the slave trade was Arab selling Africans to white people. There is nothing outside of that. The African involvement was reactive to the circumstance no different than the local drug dealer.
