This whole record fried my cortex. Absolutely love every moment of it. Still recall hearing India at the pub at uni, that long intro and then the burst into the driving bass line, the shimmering angular guitars, the surprisingly perfect sax riff, and oh that gravelly voice. I dont recall much after my legs and arms took over and lost myself for a few minutes.

Bought it on tape when it came out cos something about the name, The Psychedelic Furs made me curious as hell. This album has never aged, nothing sounds contrived or derived, was the flower a poppy?
