She's actually mixing love that's what floor does. The trouble with her style for this song is that mixing makes it sound lackluster when compared to the other two singers and her screams are just jarring. I like Floor interpetations of many older nighwish songs but she struggles with many as well, just like Anette some songs just don't suit her singing style nemo being one.

I am unsure about Troy's extra guitar part in this performance. Sure it sounds really cool, but this song was made to have a strong orchestral presence in it that was beautiful and had a sense of loss, and yet, he drowned it out.

Honestly, I've heard all of the versions, and still verion of Elize Ryd from the Denver concert of 2012 was the best IMHO. Elize gave herself totally to the audium and without any rehearsal, that itself was a miracle.

Honestly, as a nightwish fan that came to the band as a fan of Marco (long time Tarot fan) when he joined. As much as I really enjoyed the Tarja days, I tend to prefer Floor's renditions, Tarja's voice was almost too clean for a metal band if that makes sense. Even for an operatic metal band. And live as mentioned by Marcio there is no question, Floor is a natural live and is a performer not just a singer. She interacts with the crowd really well and seems to feed off of them, getting better and better the more they are into it.

No she isnt Tarja for you fan boys & girls. She is Floor, Tarja is gone and will never be back. Floor has a different style more rock in her vocals than Tarja and tbh i wouldnt have anyone else doing these older songs other than Floor. It still was great. You cannot rewind time and or re-invent the past. People say it sounds like a cover, and that is because it is a different singer and the band has evolved with time. Its not Floor's fault she has to cover these songs. I think she nails it about as much as anyone possible could trying to recreate these songs. She isnt going to imitate a Tarja. She’s a professional opera singer AND a vocal coach. She and Tarja are both good equally. But I will say that Floor’s more versatile.
I like Nightwish A LOT more after Floor joined. Tarja is good, but the opera thing gets very old very quick when listening to a lot of the old material. Floor does so many things with her voice. So impressive.

darkwoodmovies Whenever someone says “Floor isn’t as good as Tarja/can’t sing opera” I will school them by linking that very video. She went to a musical theatre and opera school for crying out loud. She’s a professional opera singer AND a vocal coach. She and Tarja are both good equally. But I will say that Floor’s more versatile.
I like Nightwish A LOT more after Floor joined. Tarja is good, but the opera thing gets very old very quick when listening to a lot of the old material. Floor does so many things with her voice. So impressive.
