Nice combinations. What's the American twist? Frays? I found it really hard to find good shorts. For me they are 1) 100% cotton (no lycra), 2) No distress, 3) No Frays, 4) Proper hems (no cuffs). That is really really hard to find, especially 100% cotton. Even the slightest bit of lycra make shorts sizing very unreliable over time, they widen 1-2 sizes without returning after a wash. Until I found out vintage is the way to go. Another benefit is that I can see all measurements up front. Waist size without rise measurements is useless. Vintage sellers measure everything. When vintage shorts were a success, I found out all vintage is great quality, cheap and well measured, and now I'm at a point I never buy new clothes any longer.
Love #5 and #2 - they all look great - but the non "Canadian tuxedo" LOL - love - also would love your thoughts on length of jean shorts....
