i can feel your pain of reading a book for almost a month😂. but ive only read 1 book for 2 weeks this month because of school😂. usually takes me 2 or 3 days for 1 book with 300+ pages.

When my dogs start barking a lot I just tell them to use their "inside voice" and give them affirmations when they are quiet. I hope that helps!

I read about three books. Harry potter and the order of the phoniex, the first book to the game of thrones series and never fade the second book in the darkest minds trilogy.
I love how different your TBR and book choices are! So many BookTubers talk about the same books (for reasons that I understand, but still!) and its so refreshing to hear about hat you're looking forward to and reading!

There were so many dogs in this video. I'm very pleased.
Not sure if it will help but in terms of Fraser's barking, it might be a good idea to either give him a treat or his toy whenever you see another dog and before he gets the chance to bark. You could get a friend with a dog to walk past your apartment where he can see a few times on different days and do this as a training exercise and it means that soon enough he will associate other dogs with you giving him a treat or toy so he will look at you first when he sees them. It might take a while but would be worth it in the long run.

Good god. It's a little hard to read. But Jesus Christ the next two books are amazing.
For Frazier try working on "leave it" commands. If he is better at that it can help you distract him from other dogs walking by and focusing on you. You can try and offer him a treat or a toy if he leaves the other dogs alone. Try and offer him something that will be more tempting than the other dogs. Kong toys or puzzle toys that require moving pieces or turning the toy to get treats will help keep his mind busy. There are various things that you can try and put into a kong toy but whatever you choose freezing it will make it last longer and if he is a food motivated dog some will spend a long time trying to get every bit out. Walking him frequently and giving his off leash time as many others had mentioned will also help but try to challenge his brain too to tire him out.
Her dad reminds me of my step grandpa.. he was the best.. he passed away 5 years ago but it still feels like he’s just on a journey and coming back.. 😔
For Zoe's readathon, I finished reading PS I Love You by Cecelia Ahern and read a total of 274 pages. Like you, I've been in a off and on reading slump, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! The readathon definitely helped. Since then, I've finished The White Queen by Philippa Gregory, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and I am currently reading Chamber of Secrets and The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon.

I love vlogs like this! btw fraser is so cute! For Fraser barking I would recommend filling a spray bottle with water and when he barks spray him with it. I also have this problem with my dog and doing this helped him.
I don't know about you guys but I have found a solution for my reading slumps. I watch one of Sasha's videos! Seeing how passionately she speaks about books just makes me remember how much I love reading! :)

I recently just came out of/am still coming out of a really bad reading slump as well. I'm a pretty slow reader in the first place, so at first I hadn't really realised I was in a slump until I just kind of struggled to pick up the book I was reading (even though I was loving it). What I did was I put that one aside and picked up a shorter, way more light-hearted (but still kinda dark/deep, oops) novel, and for a while it really helped my reading; then I was able to get my hands on a book I'd been wanting for ages, and it also really helped pull me a little bit more out of my slump. So maybe it might help you to read shorter, lighter books if you still can't pull yourself out of this slump. Best of luck getting back into the swing of things with your reading!

Oh my gosh, The Thief is awesome. I just read the first 4 books in the series in the past 2 months, and they're actually my favorite books now. My previous favorite book had been my favorite for 7 or 8 years, so The Queen's Thief series being my new favorite is a big deal.
I'm sad I missed this readathon, 'cuz I was camping.
