When it comes to the trope of fading to black to commercial trope, one of the best things they came bad to after commercial was Bob Holly’s gash in his back gushing blood on WWECW. Before commercial, Holly suplexed RVD to the outside through a table, and typically, you see them in a submission after the break. Those that stuck around saw that gash and what those two did throughout the rest of the match getting Bob’s blood all over the ring. It was an incredible gross sight that’s one of the best WWECW moments and matches.

Edit: another trope I’m tired of seeing in wrestling is when a champion has 2 possible contenders and during a contender match the champion interferes, resulting in a triple threat match for said title and the champion gets upset for what THEY did 🥴

2:35 I wish that was the case more in wrestling fighters in UFC don't just win with right hook to the face... They could have won with a submission or a left kick or a spinning back fist or whatever. Set up moves if hit right in wrestling should be able to do the job. Provide more unknown finishes. I think wrestlers should have 4 finishers. And any of them can end the match

Honestly, Cena and Michaels as a tag team was one of my favorite moments in WWE history because I really loved both, but it was always funny to me how cautious Cena had to be around Shawn.

When one wrestler pins another wrestler after hitting their finisher or their trademark move and the other wrestler kicks out and the wrestler who gets frustrated or is in shock when the other wrestler kicks out is most likely the one that will lose the match

I agree but u can separate the art from the person behind it (in real life). Inside that ring he’s 1 of the greatest to ever do it & imo a top 5 wwe wrestler ever & nothing can change my mind. People can completely talk about his career without what he had going on outside of the wwe, they just choose not to

Royal rumble 2004, 3rd man in history to enter at number one and win, or wrestlemania 20 final match one of the greatest of all time or eddie guerrero tribute and Hall of fame, can't see it at all on wwe cause benoit was also apart of that. I agree with the finishers - I'd like Sami to usually win with the Blue Thunder Bomb but when he's in a big match, that's when someone can kick out of it and he has to go for the Helluva Kick to finish them off. If they make the move look strong then when someone kicks out of it, it actually means something.
In fact, so many of the things on this list could be fixed if we were conditioned to believe that it might actually happen. If we saw more people counted out then when someone got back in on 9.5, it would be a cool moment. Instead it just feels a bit pointless because we all know what's going to happen whilst they're lying motionless as the ref counts 9.
