04:40 innoru aspect "Soap opera effect" ...Some LED tvs have an option to disable it and some do not. SOE must be disabled to get the 24 fps speed, I am not sure if there is an option to disable it in this software. Camera movements and movements of subjects in digital videography/cinematography look so smooth and life like or at times a bit faster, but the 24 fps on film is tad slower to replicate the real time actions or motion. Motion interpolation is a deterrent for "film lovers".
very true.. That's one of the first settings I turn off in TVs and I research well to make sure I have this option. I don't watch sports a lot. Mostly it will be movies, I hate the SOAP OPERA effect in movies

Back in the days of DD during 90s, I and my Dad used to discuss / debate whether the footage on Tv programme, Tv movie etc., was a film (movie) or tv vdo (film or digital)...frankly speaking I wasn't aware of the jargon like, interpolation, gate weave, etc etc., But we were aware of the visible differences....to an extent I was shocked see the SOE while I watched the trailer of Alien Vs Predator on a transparent Tv screen, which was part of the exhibition at CTC that showcased the latest of electronics and photographic equipment in the year 2004..and in the subsequent years I was so disheartened when I realized that the SOE has become the norm, but it is a respite that some brands are giving us the option to disable that at least. Profound thanks to you for this episode. Keep rocking.
Absolutely brilliant video and you are a real Photo Guru....Never new so much in film photography, tho i was doing still film and slide photography in 1982 to 1998.. Nice to know that there is a software to get something near to film...

Recently watched Top Gun 1986 and noticed all these characters of the film, I watched it in a blu-ray print so I can see those grains, and especially when they show "GOOSE" dollar the Halation is evidently noticeable.
Yes, the grains can be noticed easily during the opening montage on the carrier .. Looks fantastic
