Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my RUclips Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have come to a point of trying to find a greater purpose in life, something beyond just being happy for a moment. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.
I love how giddy you get Nephi, when our girls sing their harmonies :D
They are such good singers and so powerful in their harmonies (and separate too).
It amazes me that they still can pull of those harmonies without being together and being able to hear eachother, shows how incredibly in tune they are. (you only get that when you've been singing together for so many years and you still need the talent for it too)

Next week they are going to do an online concert. You need to buy a ticket. (Ticketpoint) Then You get a link for the online concert. On may 17 from 7 to 8 netherlands time. I visited their show last november iT was great.
If you go to their RUclips channel, there's a concert where they sing "just give me a reason, " exactly the same way. Just chills.
They perform their second song also on The Voice of Holland during the blind auditions in 2014. They won this competition. You should check it out and also the other performances from that season
