On top of the the "the M's count different when a baby cuts the pie" line is a double entendre. Push set it up to make you think that he was about to rant about the same "Baby fucked, and is still fucking you out of money" shit again. But then snapped with a wild left no one saw coming, "you have a secret child by a pornstar that you've agree to pay child support to.... and you're not even certain it's yours." That's some borderline comic writing right there with a beautiful set up, and a very well done punchline. Just the first "layer" and it was already densely packed with metas, double E's, and heavy personal blows, and the man claims to have more info. On top of the fact that T has been at it for 16 years, and walked out the gate with flames. So why would anyone try to test this man's pen game?

I have a different perspective on the OVO 40 line. Drake, himself, has talked, numerous times, about overworking 40 even though he is sick. He talks about keeping him up late at the studio, inducing stress, which is a risk factor for MS. Pusha's point wasn't to make fun of 40 but to chastise Drake for overworking a supposed best friend who he knows is sick. It's not below the belt. It's just true.
I think Drake got in over his head with this one.
Love this show, but you really need to use a shotgun mic on Murs instead of using the lavalier. Or shave off his beard, since it's covering the mic and thus creating this muffled sound.

The Answer I won’t count him out yet because we have seen the bigger artist win a beef despite it being acknowledged the other smaller rapper had the better diss track. I point to LL Cool J and Canibis. LL won the beef even though Second Round K.O. was deemed the better diss record almost universally and it making lists for best diss tracks.

Pusha has done an incredible job of carefully calculating this beef. My issue is that when asked about it, he says it’s about Drake’s character and being a bad dad. He claimed on radio he doesn’t associate with child support fathers but earlier in a different show talked up his relationship with Rick Ross whose baby mama is forever on social media talking about him being a deadbeat dad. I think Pusha just didn’t like Drake and use anything and everything to come at him...(which is fine) but trying to make it seem like a character issue when so many rappers have the same issue seems inauthentic....but I’m here for this battle and I can’t wait to see how it ends. Hopefully when the dust clears we the winner will be hip hop and the fans! I hope this stays on wax, and stays entertaining.
