I know not everyone is able to play 12 hours a day or have $250 to spend in one game!

with this, do you use the 7-zip because when i tried to do it, i have the folders in the areas but it didnt do it automatically and I dont see them when I press f12 in game? Im nto good with this stuff so i apologize in advance.
You can use any kind of extractor. 7-zip works fine! Just double check by going into the SPT\BepInex\plugins or SPT\user\mods to see if you can locate the mods

Once you have modded SPT, can you return to regular Tarkov without being banned?
This is from AKI Mods Workshop word to word:
"As long as you follow the install instructions exactly there is 0% chance of being banned installing SPT.
Using SPT breaks the Terms of Service agreement you agreed to when creating your EFT account which allows them to terminate your account at any time.
Therefore, we strongly advise against informing BSG staff/moderators you use SPT or make public videos showing yourself playing SPT!
While the EFT launcher doesn't check for SPT (verified as of the 9th March 2023), we advise you not to have SPT server/launcher running when launching or playing live EFT."
Simply Put:
SPT does break the TOS, but you won't get banned.
Nah, as long as you don’t accidentally place mods in the Live install of Tarkov you don’t get penalized.
holy crap the website for mods is awful now, i cant tell what in the hell im looking at or for since i cant sort anything anymore so now i have to scavenger hunt this crap
If you are talking about the "omg It's on fire!" page, you can type spt in google and click filebase for better UI.
Is there any way to downgrade our spt version? I see the coolest mods are for 3.8.0
Unfortunatly, there is no way to downgrade, however most of the 3.8.0 mods works with 3.8.1 spt if not all of them!

Just make sure to turn off all the SPT stuff running before going back to normal tarkov.

does anyone have an issue with spt performance? i get a noticeably lower fps in spt versus regular tarkov at same settings. i would expect a somewhat less fps due to running ai bots but not like this. also if i enable dlss my gpu doesnt even boost to full clocks. im using a 4090 with 7800x3d and 32gb ddr5 6000. is there something different with the settings? or maybe something in the installation that one should know?
You should 100% reinstall because you should not be having performance issue. Do you have many mods?
@@SimpleSlime it was the same with and without mods, and even reinstalling did not make a difference. Is there a difference in spt and normal game settings? I did set it to copy my online settings, could that be the cause? Every other game runs as before normal so it's a spt thing.
@@medovk I'm not a computer hardware expert but it seems like something is going on.. I have a 3080 with 32gb ram and worse everything than your build. I sometimes have fps drops but other than that I have no performance issue 😥😥
@@SimpleSlime yeah its weird. im a pc enthusiast for years and know my rig very well, but this is an isolated thing just with spt. every other game runs as always, 3dmark scores are the same…idk.
@@medovk You can try to maybe limit the scav spawns and see if that fixes it, but other than that I probably can't help you with this problem 😵💫😵💫😵💫

When I load up my server after downloading the server value modifier is says I need to install something called .json. Help!
for server value modifier mod, you need to download and put the ServerValueModifier into the user/mods folder. Then just run the Greed.exe and set to your likings!
I got that mod to run properly I think but now when I try to add any other mod it says the same thing about the missing package .json.
And dang I was not expecting a respond AT ALL thank you!

I got 2 solutions:
1. You might be not correctly unzipping the zip folder.
2. From another source:
It should be "modname">files
Not "modname">"modname">files
Would be nice for a step by step video on how do do this stupid shit instead of a 400x fast forward bullshit

i am playing on a server my buddy is hosting. Is there a way that I can mess with the xp multipliers for just me? or where in the files can I adjust if its global so I can reset them before he logs back in to play himself
