So i really need to work on this thing as soon as possible because where ever I'm going for the work in hospital to cover my gap, all hospitals are saying that i need to work for atleast 1 year to get experience as well as reference. So I'm very much confused sir what to do . ?

I cleared my OET in Sept 2023 but till now i haven’t heard any news of vacancies in UK!
My question to you is “I have only 1 year left for the expiration of my OET score,will there be a problem at the time of OSCE because i’ve heard from somewhere that before 6 months of expiration of OET result one has to give OSCE! Is it true? Please tell.

Thanks for your useful video. This is Kabir from Bangladesh. Recently, I cleared my OSCE at my own cost in UK on a visit a visa and waiting now for PIN. I returned Bangladesh 2 weeks ago. Hopefully, I will get my NMC PIN soon. Once I become a UK Nurse after receiving NMC PIN, I want to know whether it be an issue to be recruited me from Bangladesh.

How many months prior to the expiry date( OET),the person should arrive in the UK?
Even if they arrive before the exiry of the OET and they haven't got the UK NMC pin, they will have to retake the OET

I would say that you need 6 months and that's if you pass OSCE first time.

We are very confident that recruitment will restart. Get you year experience on a ward and study for your english and CBT. We are hopeful that it will pick back up again soon.

@@ItsMadhuUK in the beginning of our job we get an offer letter right so in case a hospital doesn't provide experience certificate and reference after 6 months , can we submit the offer letter with rest of the documents for interview...

From our experience Trusts ask you to pass OSCE before they will issue a support letter for a spouse visa. OSCE training is a stressful time and you need to focus completely on passing the exam and also finding somewhere to live with your family. It's recommended that you want 6 months before bringing your family. You provided accommodation will also be for single use.

I worked in icu since 6 years but if i attend the interview they make me to work in ward ?? Because my friends working in same icu with me but when they go to uk they worked in ward only why???
May be you have given interview for ward and if not you can change your department
It's hard to work straight in ICU as it's so different here in the UK. We often advise candidates to pass their OSCE on the ward as the OSCE is very ward based and then speak to the matron on ICU to see if you can learn anything. Once you've passed OSCE, you can apply for ICU jobs in the hospital that your COS if from.

I do have an important query regarding the request on our department experience. (Which ma'am has shared)
Recently there was an agency who uploaded for a vacancy for Midwives, which later on i was told that it's only for Labour room nurses who independently deliver babies without the doctors! (Which never happens in India even in community based)
So i told the agency to request on my criteria and check whether I'm exceptional since I've got 3+ years of experience in OBG ward since I've got good skills on taking care of both Mothers and Newborns plus Gynaec patients whether its normal or critical care.
But she didnt listen. She just told me its specific that they require only labour room nurses who delivers baby by their own!
So i would like to know whether this kind of Midwives requirements are really recruited from India? Is having OBG experience and doing NMC registration in Midwives not worth our experience?..
