Fascinating! Beautiful yet strange. A few dark moments that took it a little far for me, but seriously one of the most interesting and striking ballets I've ever seen. Love the classical foundation, neoclassical pictures, mixed with expressive modern movement and story line?!?! Wow! You can get bored here! When can I see the whole ballet? I live in Texas :)
i actually believed, for a long great moment, that Olimpia is a real automaton!
amazing and I want to see the whole performance- is there a DVD (region 2) I can buy of it please? The Stuttgart ballet is my favourite company and I keep telling everyone how good it is, but there appear to be no dvds accessible in the UK- this looks like the kind of ballet I must see whole- wonderful stuff- brilliant!
I saw this ballet in Latvia in 2009 - and it has never left me. Does anyone know which piece(s) by Schnittke was/were used in the performance?
