Beginning as a homework assignment from producer Kristian Bush (Sugarland) in preparation to record her debut album, Ell was given two weeks to reimagine her all-time favorite desert island record, recording every single instrument and singing every part alone in her studio. The process led her to emerge with a renewed creative discovery and vision for how she plays, writes and records her own music. The end-result of Bush’s unique assignment became her critically-lauded No. 1 debut album, The Project.

I too just found her. How have I missed this! Watching last 6 years or so she started off fantastic and has just become phenomenal. Love the understated and stripped down instrumentals which show off both her voice and guitar. Just so smooth! Love it

Lindsey Ell is amazing she should be much more famous than she is. Other artists know what a talent she is and that is why everyone wants her as an opening act but she is still not a household name with country music fans. She should.
Jeff olefson she’ll get there right now she’s got a lot of creepy men after her she also has to worry about and luckily I’m not one of them. Some creep name Steven’s the worst. He blackmailed her this week and claimed they were getting married this weekend and going to Aruba for their Honeymoon. She was so pissed especially since she never met this guy and she didn’t get to go to Aruba and would like to. As of right now we’re both still single and she’s still on my list as long as we are until after I complete my Brutal Slamming Christian Death Metal Band Living Cadavers and visit Nashville to discuss The Variety Music Festival I’m planning on starting their that she would like to be on as far as I know. That’s unless she tells me she’s not interested in me which she hasn’t yet. She’s good friends with Raelynn and by the way a cool fact about her is that her husband Josh was my cousin Kaylee’s Husband Mitch’s Best Man in their wedding along with his younger brother Daniel. I talk to Lindsay quite frequently on Instagram she hasn’t recently responded to me because she gets so many messages.
