Very valuable information Kevin, i can see the Maturity with you explain and that you have been in ecom for quiet a while, compared to other videos and courses created by those who are just 4-5 months in Shopify and made their courses in a hurry.
Hey everyone. Question: What is the main roadblock which a 9 to 5 leaver runs into.. when trying to start a side hustle business which would eventually help him to get rid of that dead end job? Can it be, the lack of money, lack of skills, lack of right proven systems, mentors..what could it be?

Glad that I did. Product selection is an ever going thing of mine as I will find a better product and delete the old lol. Thanks for the video. I have two question. First, do you recommend to tests products on ebay before actually starting online shop? Second, is there real advantage in shopify over wordpress? I have experience building and design wp websites, but no experience with shopify. From what i know there is a lot of "plugins" specialized for dropshipping in shopify that dont exist for wp.
Started my Shopify last week. Spent around $150 on website and ads, no sales. Although it’s been a week, I’ve had MAJOR improvement on my site. Going from a lame clusters theme focusing on electronic to a general theme stored with a Instagram page. As a college student making minimum wage, it is tough watching your money go down the drain but I promised myself I will continue this path, maybe spend less on ads and focus more on my product and site, and not give up for at least the next 5 years :)
Been Watching Your channel and many others. Theres basically only You and wholesale ted who can really help us out in the begginning of our shopify journey, thanks bro.
So much great info, I've stopped and started at least 3 times, I just now have some great niche ideas. It's taken me sometime researching and trying to follow trends. Thank you so much for this video.
This was a good video. I especially liked that you gave stop gaps for when to move on from certain ad sets and you gave a priority list of which things to focus on first. Honestly, in this process of building my first store or two, I think I have wasted a lot of time by not doing things in the most succinct way and I got some value here in terms of prioritizing my activity order. Thanks :)
Two, actually. Odds are I will have to completely revamp one of them at some point, but I'm more focused on one in particular. I'm sure that I will waste a little less time and money in my learning curve due to the content I've been gleaming from YT, though :) Of which, considering I watch at least 1-2 videos every day during my morning study time, I can say that yours is quality. Congrats on winning another subscriber 🔥
Definatly do more shoppified videos. I really want to be your student. Let me ask you, what's stopping someone from by passing my store and going straight on to Ali Express to purchase these things? Ali express will ship without MOQ.
Awesome video, thanks! How do you go about testing different audiences when your shopify is linked to only 1 store. Can you make custom branded sub pages in Shopify? Can you set up multiple domain names within the same account?
How do you test products without a store? Or in other words: if you try products and they keep failing, do you create new stores for new niches that you try all the time?
Hi Kevin. Great video. FYI, I am constantly getting bombarded by your competitors advertising on RUclips before/ during your videos. I'm not sure if they purposely do it, but frankly, it is a bit annoying. Instead, can I suggest some type of complementary product advertising (i.e. an accounting package to track online business)? Thanks and trying to give constructive feedback
I wouldn't waste your time on trying to dropship AliExpress junk. The market for pretty much every product on there is flooded. When Facebook users see the same ad for the same type of products from numerous stores, they get tired of it and keep scrolling. There is money to be made through dropshipping, but not like this. If these gurus are really making money from dropshipping from AliExpress, why are they selling youtube courses?
Exactly. The only really successful website owners I've meet will be the first to tell you it's a slow grind to get a legitimate site to turn real profits. They will also encourage you to find your own angle rather then selling a cookie cutter program.
It's not that the market for pretty much every product is flooded, I'd say it's the exact opposite. Out of the hundreds of thousands of products on there, everyone is trying to sell the same exact shit - the stuff that's currently trending and selling well there. They go into it thinking that because it's selling well on AliExpress, it's going to go the same way in their store. Of course, it doesn't quite work out that way when everyone and their mother is doing the same exact thing. Basically, people are lazy and approach it the completely wrong way. Instead of thinking about which niches are untapped, building a brand around them, and _then_ finding products that fit in, they think on a product-by-product basis and end up with a general store with no cohesive theme and the same random crap everyone else is trying to flip.
Great video Kevin ! Was wondering how U felt about a shop that offered minimum - no graphics , but with very creative unique phrases on shirts + + + other merch ? Not yet seen - & what category U would file it under . This is a very Important project & I need some thoughts about this - Please & Thanx
Can I create a price based incentive on shopify to get people to spend more? Example: Purchaces over $30 recieve free BLANK. I know you can give free shipping but can you set it up to give away product as an incentive?
Thanks a million for all your time and effort in helping us! When you were testing the hundreds of products did you have to change your store theme every time or did you have a flexible theme until you found what was working? Thanks again Kevin!
Hi Kevin, I have been watching your videos for a while and want to thank you for your help! I have a question to you, do you use FETCHER? If not what do you use?
I really wish I could take some of your courses....hopefully soon I will be able to afford to. I set up what I thought was a nice Shopify store. Started making ads...my ads got thousands of likes my store was getting a ton of traffic...but no sales. What I thought looked nice did, but it was not very professional compared to most. I never took the time to learn the themes the navigation....making pages etc. so I wanted certain menus but had no idea how to make them...little did I know it was right in front of my eyes. It’s all finally starting to CLICK . Smacking myself on the head like duh! I thank you for the time you put into your videos in helping others. I take as much as I can from all of your informational videos.I wish I was wealthy enough to pay for your classes. I know it would be worth it 100%.... 25 minutes of your time to ask as many questions as I could.
Hey I've got question - Let's say I'd like to create long-term brand for a specific segment to sell sports accessories and searching for products I found out that there are not so many orders or the products are not selling very well. Should I just change my mind and start to setup my store brand on what is currently best selling. But what is the market has changed - what Im trying to figure out is should I setup brand first and then look for products in the specific segment or to sell anything that is currently best selling (which would result often in different inventory )
How are you taking any random product from alibaba and being able to dropship it? i know about some shopify addons that allow you to dropship some products but not just any alibaba product.
I have to tell you, other than Neil PATEL..you are the best in the game at what you do...I tell everybody you have to watch Kevin David videos, if you want to understand digital marketing...thanks
The only way something like this could be a get fast rich deal is if they did it before, have experience, and have the money. Since I started this I've spent hours and hours watching videos, taking notes, and setting things up. I have a notebook filled with information. I wake up at 4am, and usually don't end my day till midnight doing this. I'm currently on LOA taking care of my newborn, and a lot of time isn't spent on this. Probably about half my time is able to do all this stuff, so my sleep almost doesn't exist. Just trying to set this up, set it up right, and not take a million years doing it either- as I'm taking care of a newborn too, is hard work but its worth a shot.
Great video! Always bringing good content. What would you say is an ideal amount of capital to have for testing products to finally find a home-runner?
Thanks for the reply. True, but I'm referring to testing products/ad spend. How much should I expect to spend on fb ads before finding a home runner? $100, 500, 1k etc?
Kevin are you using products from Aliexpress, made in China with the 2 week packet delivery?? I am not convinced that would work but let me know some specifics please. Im in the beginning stages of this whole process! thx
