Sara can I ask you how you store your 300+ perfume bottles? I know you have some on display. Do you keep the other ones in a cabinet? I would love to understand how you store them and how long you expose them to light on a vanity or other display. Also if you could comment on how you organize them so you can find what you want to wear, I would appreciate it - ie by brand or by notes or by ideal wearing season? Even if you could talk about this in a future video I think that other people would love to know so they can follow the way you do it. Thank you!
This is a question to which I can't give you a proper answer yet because I'm in the middle of reorganizing my entire house and we are going to be moving sometime this year. So, my perfume collection is not in its permanent display yet. 😊 I will tell you how I have them stored now and what I'm planning to do in the new house. I don't really have some of them on display, I just pull some of them out to take photos on one of my mirrored dressers. I used to keep some of them on a beautiful tray on display but I don't anymore because I don't want them exposed to sunlight for too long. ☀️ They were never really exposed to direct sunlight however. I keep them on shelves in my closet. But my closet is not ready for a collection video as we are remodeling it at the moment. My closet is the best place for them at the moment. In our new home, we are going to have a closet company build me my dream closet and I will have them build special shelving to display my entire collection. I will do a collection video then. 😊 In their new home I plan to organize them by the house. I will definitely do that with niche fragrances but I'm not sure if I would arrange my designer ones by the house yet. 😊 I might arrange them by the season. 😊

I know that Amber is such a beautiful mix of resin and balsam ingredients and vanilla. Vanilla scent probably comes from Benzoin. I love Amber in perfumes too! That's why we shouldn't dismiss synthetic ingredients because we would be disregarding a lot of our favorite notes like musk, Ambroxin and more. 😊
Some fragance are discontinued in this beautiful list. I have Miss Dior Le Parfum, bit I think I need other bottle because it's really beautiful and quite difficult to find. Si Le Parfum completely lost, almost in Spain-Europe, but the Intense version is one of my next. I have Alien Essence Absolue discontinued, but I purchase 2years ago a 100ml recharge, so beautiful fragance. Ambre Nuit is one of my love Ang Grand Soir I hope I going to purchase soon.

I tried shalimar for the first time ever on Saturday. I was surprised that it wasn't spicier and more smokey 🤷♀️ I'm sure it is several times over reformulated, so probably less punchy that it once was. It felt very powdery and vanillary like baby powder! The guy on the counter said, "are you sure?" When I asked to try it! 😂
It smells so oriental and vintage and there's something about it that I don't love (I think it's the Cvet mixed with too much citrus in the opening). I like it but I don't wear it as much. It calls for a specific occasion. 😊 It also smells quite mature. 😊
