The University of Moratuwa, situated 18 km south of Colombo is the Centre of Excellence for engineering, technological and architectural studies in Sri Lanka. The Department of Textile and Apparel Engineering of the University is one of the Departments in the Faculty of Engineering and is the first of its kind in the Sri Lankan University system.
The Department of Textile and Apparel Engineering came into being as a fully-fledged Department in 1985, with the launch of the BSc Engineering Degree Program with the assistance of the Textile Department of the University of Leeds and the Manchester Metropolitan University. In 2001 the Bachelor of Design course came into being, with collaboration from the London College of Fashion of the University of Arts London, a specialist in fashion design education. The Department is currently the only Department in the Faculty of Engineering to run two-degree programs.

what is the difference between Mora NDT and Mora Uni Textile engineering? I mean degree Content differences
Degree in Textile Engineering has alot of Mathematics and Physics knowledge required to learn and the goal is to design and develop machines and materials used in the textile industry (like MAS or Brandix). NDT is a diploma in technology in Textile engineering and it teaches more hands on skills than research and engineering and scientific knowledge.
