An other terrible American custom, tipping. Everybody should be paid by their employer like everyone else. To depend on the goodwill from customers is crazy.
Here in Switzerland we do not have to worry about tipping exactly right because we usually do not tip or if we do it is 2 or 5 francs to show appreciation for good service.
The entire idea of tipping is so retarded it isn't even funny. Why of all the services jobs that exist is this one where the employer isn't required to pay his employees enough money, but instead rely on the whim of a customer? One of the stupidest things that still exists in the country, and for no good reason.
