27:11 Taylor’s voice on stage is everything… puts a lot of emotion into everything he sings…. But even his speaking voice was so attractive… I duno what it is… maybe bc he’s got a bit of a scratchy speaking voice…. But I’ve always loved it
rewatching as a full grown adult i’m amazed. i remember people trying to tell me they faked the instruments and their parents wrote their songs. yeah right! these guys are PURE TALENT
Man these guys were incredible (and still are)! One of the shows on this tour was my first concert ever. Taylor kept looking at my sign and blushing that night which had the 11 year old me absolutely melting. To this day I can't hear Gimme Some Lovin' without slipping the "Whoa whoa" during the "So glad we made it" lines, even when I hear the original version! Makes me even prouder when I see how amazing they turned out, as performers AND people!
I grow with this band. Talented dudes *especially Isaac.* But Taylor always has x factor on him that makes him special. Something about attitude and soul he pours on each lyric he sings.
Can’t forget the boy keeping the tempo of every song and adding the higher harmonies that emphasize one voice into a gorgeous harmony… drumming is probably the most physically demanding to perform…. And really were such a great group bc they worked together .
My favorite band ever!! You guys are amazing, so talented at such a young age. Good ole down to earth music with so much meaning. I wish i could have met you in person. I am 46 years old and have followed your music from the very beginning. Keep it going guys❤❤❤

nostalgic & emotional watching “with you in your dreams” i saw them on this tour and remember this set change. this song helped me get thru 2 serious deaths as a kid. feels like i’m right back there as a little kid and i’m almost 34!
I remember going to one of their concerts during the road to Albertine tour it was my first concert I was about seven years old and man was it awesome they inspired me to sing and perform on stage ever since I listen to them a lot of people thought with my disability I have autism I wouldn’t be able to maybe have the ability to do that but they inspired me to do that and man do I love performing to
Listening to them sing these songs now and then, it’s really an amazing success story. They have matured into amazing men and were amazing kids back then!
Imagine the conversations back in school in the fall..."What did you do this summer?" Hahaha! Awesome band! Unstoppable stage presence, confidence, and crowd involvement. - Regardless of age, their energy and talent shines through...continuing today.
It looked like Zac was getting emotional when they were singing "Weird". One of my favorite versions of "With You in Your Dreams" on this. They were amazing kids. It looked like Taylor grew some inches during just this tour. He looked shorter than Ike, then he was taller. :)
Zac too… he looks like he did in the middle of nowhere dvd in some of the shots and he was smaller and shorter… then all the sudden is hair is longer, he’s shot up im height and he looks like he’s filling out and body maturing … his arms were all buff and his shoulders and stuff bc of drumming lol ugh I miss them at this age but love getting to see it again.
36:10 I was so obsessed with what Isaac is playing on the guitar and singing here. I think they made it into a song ? I could be wrong but I used to listen to that all the time when I watched it lol
They need to digitally remaster this and re-release it cause holy Jesus in heaven this resolution is making my eyes hurt. sorry not sorry. I've been spoiled by 1080P HD. LOL
I was 15 when I went to see them on the Albertane Tour in Hartford, CT, My very first tape I ever got was this album also. This brings back so many memories. Thanks for this!
Have this cassette tape back in the 90’s in the Philippines and never saw the actual concert footage, I think only CD or cassettes were available that time not the VHS or VCD. Thank u for this.
Oh God I see this concert tour and video for the first time in my life and I am now 37 😉🤗😍 And I am so amazed and Happy that You give it here on RUclips, so greatfull for that ❤ Thank You!🙏👍👊🧡💕 And The song "Weird" in this live rock chilli version, just Waaaw🤩🎵🎶🎧💓 God gave the boys big talent🤗
I'll never, ever forget this. Good ol July 26, 1998! Or wait ....🤔 Maybe it was the 28th? Or perhaps 21st? One of those haha its been a few years. Common now haha The majority of this CONCERT was filmed at, not only my very 1st Hanson concert, but so MY 1ST CONCERT EVER in general in Seattle, Washington's Key Arena oh, Peral Jam was LEGIT Playing OUTSIDE FOR FREE btw)Even though I lived in Portland, but since they weren't coming to Oregon at that time, we had to drive an additional several hours to get to them. But hey, a lot of people have to do that anyways in other stated when their fave band hits up their major state or surrounding state's biggest cities and ta just have to make do with what ya got even if it does mean that you unfortunately and sadly have to miss a show due to low finances for one reason or another. HECK! I've had to do that far more timed than I've wanted and only live roughly an hour from where they generally perform here in Oregon. But sometimes... it really just comes down to priorities. And most especially, when funds are already majorly TIGHT~tight, as adulting is indeed, the farthest thing from being fun most days IMHO.. Oh and PS... I see em in Portland again tomabd won my first meet and greet! I've been waiting 25+ years for this moment, baby! Common, Lord! It'll be worth the wait!!! RIGHT?!?!? RIGHT!!??. LOL
Thank you so much for putting this up! I've been wanting to watch The Road to Albertane for ages... Closest I'll ever be to actually attending The Albertane Tour!!!!
The image is not quite that clear probably b/c of encoding aspects I suppose, especially considering it comes from a tape, but I'm SO surprised at the audio quality! Superb! I love this home video!!!!!!!! : )
I was at the Key Arena and was so excited when I found out the live CD was recorded there.. then this video came out and many of the shown performances were from the Key Arena show. It was fun to have some of those concert memories on video. Especially because I had HORRIBLE seats lol. Second to last row in the area, just before a curve that turned our row into the very top/last row. SO BAD haha. Couldn't see anything. Fun times
Look at you is still a bop… don’t even @ me lol I always thought this a good song but it’s so short but I love the way they sing in this one. Omg until they started playing Ever Lonely…. I was obsessed with this song too!!!! I think I liked a lot of their more dark sounding songs… but legit I love all the songs… but these two def have a different more dark sound… I love it 56:47 okay speechless I also love and it’s def another darker sounding song lol
Is there on here that went to the concert at red rocks In Morrison that could tell me what Taylor was wearing lol I remember what Ike had one but not Taylor or Zac.. I think I had heat exhaustion that day (July 18/1998) bc it was record breaking high lol
Wow this takes me back, I used to watch this ALL the time, I was at this tour at the Key Arena in Seattle. Reminds me of how mental I was at 12 thinking Taylor and I were destined to be together LOL, me and like 50k other girls
I bought a cassette tape on this album. Oh my high school days was fun being a big fan of Hanson and I had a poster on them I posted on my bedroom wall hahaha
I was 15 when this came out... yes same as Taylor. So I feel like I have grown up with them. (I was 14, well a couple months shy of 14 when Middle of Nowhere came out in 1997, summer birthday). I was never one to like a band member based on looks or age, I tried to get know their character before I had a favorite. My older sister on the other hand based everything on looks and initial attitude. I remember her liking Hanson a little but not much, she respected their musicianship. At the time we only had one VCR in the house so I tried to block out time to watch this after I got it at least twice a week. She was somewhat forced to watch it when I did because of the one VCR, But she really didn't mind as I dealt with her choices too. Her reaction every time they showed Taylor in tight white T-Shirt on stage her reaction was simply "Damn" turns out she was noticing Taylor as a man at those moments when only a year before he was just adorable.... Her reaction to him now is the same and I'm all like but I feel like they're family!
I think most of us were in the same age range as Hanson when we first started to listen to them and get to know them !!! And no offense but your sister was right about Taylor lol the dude just has that something extra that draws you in to him. They all do .. but I think bc he sings the most that we see it the most… but I still loved them all then and still do. Love this blast from the past!!!
Well my reaction different because I am AroAce. I was just pointing out something I found fascinating. Taylor is my favorite but based on who he is as person not looks. That was just what I was trying to say, I guess.
Ugh I love this… really brings me back… and honestly their music is still good imo. They really have always just been talented musicians and performers. A lot of music I listened to when I was younger when I hear it now I still feel nostalgic .. but I realize I had shit taste in music…. But honestly I don’t think that with Hanson. Like the quality of the music is legit and writing music is NOT easy… they’re a musical family of course… but still… very impressive to me still lol

Me and my cousin used to watch this a million times a DAY we LOVED it sooo much, and cried from laughing way too hard at all the stuff they did!
For them to write lyrics like that at that age it's just amazing! It's obvious their musical talent was in their blood since birth ♥️
Lyrics of the easiest part of building a song.
rewatching as a full grown adult i’m amazed. i remember people trying to tell me they faked the instruments and their parents wrote their songs. yeah right! these guys are PURE TALENT
I wonder about the other siblings, I know Mac is extremely talented surely the girls must be too.
Their sister Jessica is a great singer too@@craftycrafter1960
Passarinho do taylor.
I wish they were popular enough to play arenas again. But, I'm really glad they're still going. Just saw them live last week. It was awesome. ❤
