Out of all the covers Gigi has done, I think this is my favorite. For me, it’s better than Adele’s version. If I’m not mistaken, Gigi’s version is a bit slower than Adele’s and I think that helped her deliver it with more emotion…and my gosh!…Gigi’s vocals are so clear and resonant. I still get goosebumps every time I listen to this version, which I never got with Adele’s version. The power, the emotion, the delivery…wow, Gigi, wow! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I believe that females tend to sing such love songs with more emotion than males and I've got to say this rendition of _All I Ask_ packs the most punch!!! I was stunned by the high notes in the final chorus 4:27! You go girl, Gigi! 🔥🔥🔥

I recently say a show about the Carpenters. The singer did a good job playing Karen Carpenter. I believed that Karen had the sweetest voice. But in my search for Close to You, I found Gigi’s version. Wow I am so impressed with your voice. I have subscribed and can’t wait to hear more of your songs. I also loved your version of Mariah Carey’s Hero. Her rendition is beautiful. The control in her voice and the way she delivers the emotion, specifically in the first chorus, is understated and perfect. I do think she slightly oversings it final chorus but still, the best cover I’ve heard of this song. Adele and Bruno (covering this song - he wrote it) still top it for me but she holds a very close candle.
