This game was the reason I dropped $400 on a 3DO system in ‘97. It’s what got me into Soundgarden. It’s why I started riding a motorcycle, which by the way I rode through all the locations in these videos because I lived there (San Francisco and Skyline Blvd on the Penninsula). Still have the system and all the games sitting in a box too. This was one of the all time great games. So fun.
I remember the first time I got "busted" playing this as a kid lol I was blown away by the busted cut scenes so much that I would get myself caught multiple times hahahh

Then as soon as I was legal and cashed up grabbed a 96 cbr 600f3 for 3500. It single handedly made me a sport bike guy over a Harley potato-potato-potato chode. CHEERS BROTHER.

I was riding a Japanese 250 at this point in my life and living the dream. Having a game like Road Rash to play after riding was awesome. Motorbikes, games with motorbikes and young women. 25 years later I still have the motorbikes at least.

IMO they all were good aside from 3D 64 was damn good fun 1,2,3 were also great And Jailbreak was pretty dope too But this Road Rash will always be the best

Ah lads! These early road rash games were metal as fuck! Wow I loved them up until road rash jailbreak then they started to get goofy. You are right though they dont make em like they used to. The work and budget that went into these vids and the sound tracks. Why they havnt made a new road rash with all the new graphics and physics and stuff nowadays I dont know?! Go back to it roots! Metal and punk and just super intense and over the top but not goofy like they somehow went.
Wasn't there gang videos? In the road rash intro, it shows clips of them but not in full. Like there was one with an asian girl, and another with a diff girl in denim jean shorts, they played killer music like temptation - the tea party. Wouldn't mind seein that again if you've got it?
My dad just randomly bought this video game for us as kids and it turned out to be one of the coolest video games ever. Love it.
