They voice are so Beautiful and they songs are very good
You guys are adorable. Please don’t ever stop.
8 weeks on the #1 billboard US Top 100 and world #1 in 1978 worldwide in 23 countries - every dance floor around the world were packed full, when especially this song starts and millions (including me) learn to dance in dance schools the disco shuffle - the ultimative classic, was not only the hallmark of 70ties disco but also the first "bop" in music history 🕺🧯🔥
Oh FFS. It's a great song, but it was in no way the first "bop." It wasn't even the first bop of 1978. Stick to reality, please.
Great song writers as well
Recommended: "You Should Be Dancing" by the Bee Gees. Their chemistry is amazing because they're brothers. Barry, Maurice, and Robin Gibb. Their little brother Andy popped up and had his own disco career. :)
1979?

LOVE IT! What a song! If Sir Barry Gibb says you should be dancing, then you better be dancing!
I was a high school teacher for many years and I would listen to the BeeGees on the way to work to get into a good mood!
Kings of late 70s dancefloor and pioneers of disco!!🥰🕺💥
The chemistry is through them being brothers.
Sadly, Maurice and Robin have passed, and Barry is the only surviving member.
When you think of the Bee Gees, people automatically associate the high falsetto with Barry....but if you listen to "Fanny be Tender (with my heart)', Robin hits the same high falsetto, amd there us like an exchange of falsetto greatness between them, really worth a listen, it's stunning!
It's like the von Erich s the whole family died except Kevin they re wrestlers
You two are so CUTE I love watching you react. You have PERSONALITY PLUS!! 😆😎😍
This classic was played at every single lit up dance floor and disco ball! Never got tired of dancing to this!
... this song stayed at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 8 weeks in 1978.
Surprised it wasn’t on longer tbh
What a memory ... my youngest son was a born in 77. Only 3 or 4 months of age & he would have a ball in his "Jolly Jumper" to this song. He would jump back & forth as far as it could go. I thought he would take off!!!
How can they harmonize so perfect? Well, they are brothers and started to sing together as kids. Check out there performance of The Bee Gees - Time Is Passing By (1960), Barry was 14 and the twins were 11. They started performing in 1958, but there exist no vids on youtube!
My GF and I won so many disco dance contests at the clubs to this song!
With Bee Gees, the dancefloors were packed all the time! Great nights! 💃🕺🪩
I see you both enjoying the Bee Gees. I had just got out of the Army in 1970 and hitting the Disco clubs. The Bee Gees were on fire back in the day. I met my wife in a Disco Club and we are still dancing today👍👍
Disco didn't come in until the mid-70s.
@@wallacecallow2255 first club DJ in 1953 in the "Whisky à Go-Go" in Paris. Early disco dance formed between 1966 through 1974 in the
discotheques in Philadelphia
E-5 Reuben, I met my hubby in a disco in Cupertino, CA and we are in our 40th year of marriage! 😍
@@ginny5937 Good for you guys! We had a lot of fun dancing in the disco Clubs. We will have 40 years of marriage this coming December. Take care and keep dancing.😎😎
This song wraps around me like a warm blanket. My absolute favorite from the soundtrack. I took 6th grade dance lessons to this song in '78. Groovy times man.
The brothers are so very talented.
When I was in elementary school the bee gees were my favorite group
That is exactly what happened Shawn. EVERYONE was on their feet dancing. You could not sit this one out. It was so much fun. Such good memories. Thank you for this and your great reaction. 👏👏🇨🇦🇨🇦
I remember Going to the skating rink and doing the bump to this song and many other great ones !
Haha, I remember the bump. :)
Love it! 🤣❤️
I had the Saturday Night Fever CD in my clock radio for 3 decades. I danced out of bed and onto work.
Barry Gibb is the only remaining Bee Gee. You should react to an old classic "Lonely Days" and see the difference from then to the Era of disco. Many of us took the music back then for granted, but we knew we were lucky.
The Bee Gees one night only is a live performance that is out of this world . Live , you can watch them harmonizing. Freaking grreat
YES! Disco was all about dancing, and they were the best at it!!!!!!!!!!
These brothers have become imortal and will never be forgotten because good music will always find a way to be heard
Well heck yeah it'll make you dance. Gosh those were the best days ever in the 70's.
Disco days!! The good ‘ol days! 🤗
ILOVE the BeeGee Mo.Robin Barry the brothers sound great and they are voice great
I was twenty years old when this was made. Loved it, lived it. If you were there, you know! Nothing else to say❤ EDITED: Sadly there is just one brother left. See the bio “Last Bee Gee Standing” it’s either on RUclips or Netflix. Breaks my heart RIP Maurice, Robin, and Andy (he was not in the group, but a Bee Gee just the same)
Absolutely! I also turned 20 in 1978 and was there to love it and the whole era!!😊
It was a great time for us to be in our 20s
Great memories of dancing in Disco clubs!
We used to go to the “Disco” every Friday night and we loved to dance to this song! 1976! Yay!
You guys are too awesome, and fun!!! The Bee Gees know how to get down!!! Mel, you look a lot Tina Turner. That's a compliment!!!
This is an excellent song to dance to, I've done so many times at the Discos in my youth. You guys need to check out "The Chi-Lites" and "Stylistics" in the 70's, both were great groups with lots of great songs and hits.
Remember this like yesterday. Our gym teacher had us all line up and dance to this, the good old disco days ❤️🇨🇦🪩
You are absolutely right, when you said that the Bee Gee's had something special. They were a worldwide phenomenon!
Barry was the falsetto lead singer and oldest of the Gibbs Bros. Robin and Maurice sadly
both passed away. Plus, their youngest brother , Andy, who was a very talented singer
in his own right and sang with them a few times on tour. Andy had a string of #1 hits
but sadly passed away at a very young age due to complications due to drug addiction.
A tragic story for a super talented family of
singers and musicians. So Sad. 😢
"That one voice" Shawn was speaking of, I'm pretty sure he's referring to Barry. No, Barry hasn't passed away. In fact, he's the lone survivor of the Brothers Gibb.
the bee gees was real maternal brothers , maurice and robin was twins and barry was the oldest, they wrote so many songs for many artist as well as their own, the only brother left alive is barry gibbs the twins passed away, love you guys and keep on rocking.
They are brothers. The Bee Gees stands for Brothers Gibb.
They also had a younger brother, named Andy Gibb. He was a solo artist. Sadly, he died young from an overdose.
Night Fever and You Should Be Dancing are my favorite Bee Gees tunes. These guys were extremely talented.
You should check out some of their non-disco hits. Early ones like “To Love Somebody” “Massachusetts “ “Run to Me” “Words” “Mr Natural” and after disco hits like “Alone” “This is Where I Came In” “For Whom the Bell Tolls” and “You Win Again”. Or their collaborations like “Immortality” with Celine Dion and “A Woman in Love” with Barbra Streisand. So many great songs.
This is 1000%% disco! We danced the night away. Loved being young then. Great review and dancing! Thanks.
Classic song from a classic movie. All though some of the claimed inspirations taken from the real life scenes turned out to be not real, the impact of both the movie and music from it was huge around the world.
The 70's and 80's were all parties and happy times. We were lucky.
Amazing Voices Amazing Bee Gees. I grow up with the best Group ever. I love the Bee Gees. They had so many Songs. And every Song by the Bee Gees is a suprice. V.G
Y'all gave me good memories .......thanks guys ...I was raised in the motown age....I heard tons of music 🎶 born in 62
By birth! Brothers. You should be dancing. No, Barry is the only brother still alive. Andy, Maurice and Robin passed in that order. Love the Bee Gees forever! So glad you're diving into the rabbit hole. Apart from You should be dancing try Fanny be tender with my love and Jive Talking.
Hey guys! For a different sound from the Bee Gees, check out "Closer Than Close" with brother Maurice singing lead. There's a live version of it that's mesmerizing.
I don’t know how someone can NOT move to The Bee Gees it’s just too groovy!
I want to go dancing and do it all over again, great era, great music...Clubs were a blast, dance floor packed...loved your reaction 😃❤️👏
I remember going to the cinema to watch the film Saturday Night Fever in 1978, I was 18 yrs old. I've still got the double vynil lp album.
The Bee Gees are from The Isle of Man, a British Crown Dependency. A small Island in the Irish sea between England and Ireland. They moved to Manchester, North West England before leaving for the USA.
I got up and danced..wow ..love this band ..forever playing night fever
They were brothers--hence the incredible chemistry. BEE GEES stands for the Brothers Gibb. They had another musical brother named Andy Gibb.
I'm lucky and proud to be teenager in 70s for good music.
Used to dance to this song when I was 18. Also another song that you have to dance to is "Same Old Song", from the Four Tops.
They just take you to another place!! Love the Bee Gees!!!
Imagine going out every weekend dancing to this Era of music (DISCO). I was lucky enough to enjoy it to the fullest. Much like Saturday Night Fever. It was a great time to be in your prime. Music was AWESOME!!!💃 🕺
I remember wearing the same hair style in the 70’s 😜🤣🤣
The tall one that usually stands in the middle with the great falsetto voice is Barry. He’s the only one still with us. The other two are Robin and Morris, they are both gone and we’re fraternal twins. The Brothers Gibb (BeeGees)!
Maurice Gibb, but he liked it pronounced "Morris."
Maurice and Robin are twins.
I have the original vinyl record from Saturday Night Fever. It's cherished along with Beatles and Rolling Stones albums I've been lucky to have when my mum passed away in 1988. She lived in the best musical area.
That 🔊 bass line though, COME ON MAAN 😊
The dance that is done to this song in the movie (Saturday Night Fever)is fun to watch as they dance on a lit dance floor with fog. Seventies disco-style!!
The GIBB brothers! LOL!
The Brothers Gibb that is what the Bee Gees means, and they are all brothers.
They're brothers! Thats how they got together! 😂 love u guys!🙌💞
They're brothers you guys.
Hence the name B G’s
Brothers Gibb
I was in 19 and stayed at the disco and on those disco floors!!❤
You should see them as kids singing. Around 1956 or 1969 there is a video from Australia.
Wonderful, Bee Gees the best, i remember my days at the disco, every Friday at night. Thanks
Only one 🐝 Gees member alive, and that is Barry the lead singer. Unfortunately, Maurice, Robin, and youngest brother Andy are all deceased. R.I.P. 🤎🤎🤎🖤🖤🖤
Damn, Mel, you GOTTA get up and dance around the room! :)
They are brothers the older brother lead singer and the other 2 are twin. There was a young brother Andy who had solo singles but died early in his life. U may get a Bee Gee video with a 4 of the brothers together. Now there is on Barry the oldest brother still alive.
Oh yeah. The floor was full when the Bee Gees played. Bee Gees.- The Brothers Gibb. Barry, Robin and Maurice.
I also want to say that I've been watching you guys for a long time and I totally love your reactions have a blessed day thanks for all the fun times!
Blessings all the brothers are great ❤
I was 20 years old during this era. Im 66 now...I listen to this and I'm transported back to this era!!!
This definitely brings back memories. I had just got out of high school when Saturday night fever came out so I just love that you did this song!!
Great Reaction Guy's To One Of My All Time Favorite Song's
Thank you for that!! Love the Bee Gees!!❤❤❤
I love you two your energy is heart felt good vibes!
Get your dancing shoes on! Love the BEE GEES!!❤️❤️❤️
I'm sooo glad to see you back on reactions again. I missed you both.
you 2 are great! Keep bringing us good music!
I can't believe this movie is almost 50 years old. I am a living fossil now. LMAO 🤣 😆 😂 "SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER" This movie came out in 1977 at the end of the Disco era. The Bee Gees were 3 brothers from Australia 🇦🇺 Barry is the ony surviving Bee Gee Robin and Maurice passed in 2003 and 2012. Andy Gibbs, the youngest who was not in the group, died in 1988 at 30 from an OD.
Great song by legends
And great reaction as always
The Bee Gees were three brothers: Oldest brother Barry Gibb tallest one most lead vocalist and leader. He's still alive. Robin and Maurice Gibb were fraternal twins both deceased. They had a younger brother Andy Gibb who had solo success in the late 70's also deceased. He wasn't a Bee Gee.
Sooo happy y’all did this one too. My very first album was the Saturday Night Fever album/soundtrack- I do wish it would have been the video with the clips from the movie- Saturday Night Fever-GREAT video and fantastic movie! Highly recommend-❤️🔥💙💃 🕺🏼 ✨
I so miss disco! Everyone had such a great time. Never any violence.
First video with Barry without a beard.
Sweeties, 3 of the brothers have passed with only Barry left.
I thought that was Andy
Bee gees stands for brothers gibb.they're from the UK but developed their sound when they where living in Australia when they were kids.barry who does most of the singing is the eldest and only one left living.robin is the skinny one who does the most singing after barry.maurice is the the balding one.robin and Maurice are fraternal twins.two eggs two sperm conceived at the same time.
They had a younger brother Andy who was 11yrs younger so wasn't in the group but had his own career cut short by his young death.
Shawn and Mel I'm sure you've been told all this but have just forgotten so I'm reminding you.
YAAAASSSS!
Shawn: “How are you not dancing?!”
Me: “I am dancing”.
They are brothers and there is only one left. I have been a fan of the group since the late 60's
Better times back in the 70s - people were chill, cool, groovin', the music was amazing, ✌❤ and the fashion was better - individuals. You could speak your mind without someone being sooooo overly sensitive. Where is a time machine when you need it!!!!!!!
The Hell of a good music , stays for all time .... uuuhhhh yeeeaaahhBaby
You should be dancing. It's a must! Bee Gees are 3 brothers from the same mother.
OH LORD This brings back memories!!!!!!!! We would dance to this at the NCO club in Sembach Germany, We had a ball We were the original line dancers!!!!
Listening to this song is like time travel; you're instantly teleported to the 1970s.
Barry is still with us. RIP to his brothers.
When I saw this video is about "Night Fever" by the Bee Gees I had to watch and 'like' this video.
best of Disco!
