They are not a pop punk band. OOR's genre is really, undefined. They do so many subgenres from alternative rock to grunge, from pop rock to hard rock. If you like video games, they did a couple songs for video games, like the latest one is Make It Out Alive for Monster Hunter or Vandalise for Sonic Frontiers. You can never tell on their shows if a song is an opener or a closer :P because ALL 20 something songs they play have the same high energy level. It's like they are hooked to a battery or something :D and Taka can sing perfect pitch while running around the audience and on stage, as demonstrated in Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer at the Yokohama Stadium . Dude just doesn't seem to get tired and his voice doesn't break throughout a 2 and half hour show, which is insane. He's a world class singer which is best demonstrated in acoustic versions of their songs. like check out the Studio Jam Session of Mighty Long Fall. Shivers. His voice is insane. They are a really versatile band who can also play with full orchestras in perfect sync. SO MANY songs to check out... It's an endless rabbit hole cuz they literally don't have any bad songs.
Very cool. Thank you for the information. And I'll add that one to the list. I did see they have a versatile genre throughout their catalogue, but this song specifically is pop punk
OOR is all ganres. You can pin them down. They are phenomenal live. Their lyrics are definitely motivational and uplifting. They are the most humble band I've ever been privileged to see live. This band will play for 800 people to 50,000 with the same love and energy. It doesn't matter where in the concert the energy is the same. I believe the more towards the end the energy gets higher. They have an amazing crowd control and all of their music is designed for fans to pitch in and feel part of it. I always say that the fans are the 5th member of the band. Check out a ballad next.❤❤❤ One way ticket Take what you want Good goodbye Be the light.
I suggest a double reaction; "Stand Out Fit In", first the MV and then the live orchestra version. These 2 show how well Taka can touch the audience through both mediums!
A tip for you guys going forward! Always go for the Japanese version of the song if there’s one available and when you do search for the Japanese version lyrics because the English version of the song has different lyrics then in Japanese! This is very important!
@@AceofBadeReactsas far as i know, it's usually 23-25 songs for Japan tours. The world tours' ticket's price usually only half of Japan's, so they only perform 13-15 songs.
Please React to ONE OK ROCK Delusion:all, new song, We are live ambitions japan dome tour, Stand out fit in live orchestra, and i was king live orchestra. 🙏 with that girl again 😂
Why’d you guys pick this song for a first time reaction to the band? It’s a very little reacted to song. Not to say it’s bad but. Who ever recomended this for a first one, shame on you! They have so many magical songs
I don't remember anymore. It was this one and Renegades that were recommended for first time listening. I thought this one was a great introduction to the band
What is your favorite song by One Ok Rock?
We are one ok rock. I recommend the live version of Ambition Japan Dome Tour 2018

The live "We Are" is incredible. Renegades was produced with the help of Ed Sheeran. Love this band, opened for Muse in the US recently
I did see Ed Sheeran was in a video with them. That's pretty cool
@@AceofBadeReacts several clips on here of them together. Some on stage, one making the song Renegades
@@trevalarose8155 wow that's awesome
If yall dont know, they produced songs for Sonic Frontiers and Monster Hunter.
That's really cool. These may have been discussed in the next reaction that's scheduled out
I recommend you check out Take What You Want (Live Ambitions 2018) by them.
I'll add it to the list
This band is best live. I recommend Deeper Deeper in Yokohama Stadium.
I'll add it to the list
I think yokohama arena in 2013 is better since taka’s voice is more stable there but both are great

Yeah for sure. The next time we sit down to do reactions, I'll be sure to do a One Ok Rock song
