- Many people would go for negative offset rims, however you don't always need negative offset to make your car look muscular. In this video, we fixed a set of 18x9, Offset +1 Fuel Assault rims paired with 285/65/18 Tyres onto this Ford Ranger. You could see that the rims align with the body very well and totally improves the whole outlook of the car.

Best video on tyre and wheel options for a Ford Ranger, thank you for doing it so well. When you say +1 offset is that positive 10mm, I write that as I'm used to offsets in increments of 10, 20, 30 + or - in Australia.

Can you fit 285 60 18 onto the stock Wildtrak wheel?
Would be good to do a review of the 285/60 18's as well. Wondering if the reduced profile height of the 60's, as opposed to the 65's, means that you don't need to fiddle with the front guards for clearance, and won't impact overall gearing as much - which has a flow on impact to speedometer accuracy?
No it will fit fine the 60. 65 as mentioned will touch, however that is stock suspension. If you have a 2" lift,you wouldnt need to worry about the tyre touching anything

Hi bro, will the same tire (285/65 R18, 18x9 ET1) can fit perfectly on wildtrak 2016 model 4x4 with just adjusting the mud flaps no lifts?

Would it have the rubbing issue with this tyre with a 2” lift
So i just ordered these rims but I don't have the body flairs. How far should expect the tires to be? Mine is also leveled so I don't expect to have the issue with the mud flaps.
They did not fit on my Ranger. Was rubbing on frame. Have to go smaller.

yes it is standard height, you wont have any problem with 285 60 18 however your standard rim wont fit well on 285 60 18. best change to wider wheels

I just ordered my new Ranger Thunder Edition, and I changed the tires for the original size but KO2.
The completes wheels with the bigger size is too expensive considering I just bought and brand new vehicle

Yes, we just changed the tire size and made some adjustments on the fenders to fix the touching issue!

And every time you hit a bump or speed bump the wheels hit the arches. I think I'll go for the middle tyre size to be honest.

such a big tire will suffer on mileage and pickup. Plus the KO2 is a very heavy AT tire. Pickup will definitely loose to stock Ranger.
