sam's writing tablet is called a "magic slate" -- a board covered with black wax. the "paper" is translucent plastic that sticks to the wax when pressed, allowing the black to show through.
In The Last Of Us there are four stages of infected. Stage 1, runner. This is the beginning stage of infected Where you've just turned (Sam, Grandma in episode 1). Stage 2, stalker. This is the stage where you're beginning to lose your eyesight and you're starting to become stage 3, Clicker. Totally blind but uses echo like bats to find you. Stage 4, Bloater. The big guy you just saw. This is where you've been infected for many years that the infection has spread through your entire body and hardens like armor which is why the bullets wasn't working when dude was shooting it. Going back to stage 2, when Ellie stabbed that infected in the wall, that was the Stalker.
Yay! I was looking forward to this. This was one of my fav episodes, even though they've all been great. Thanks for the content. I dont know if anyone mentioned it, but, Kathleen's right hand man is the VA for Tommy in the game.
This was another great episode BIss. It was just so sad that we lost both Henry and Sam and the way they were lost. This show definately knows how to make your heart pump and eyes tear up.
I had no emotional connection to henry and sam, so I wasn't moved to any tears since I saw them not making it out alive the whole time. It was obvious. The actors did a great job but there was no reason to care for me.
Awesome episode and great reaction. I love it how you analyze the episode while watching it and mostly (if not always) getting to the correct conclusions. Thank you. ~ Vals
Good episode stressful and heartbreaking. I wish saving Sam was as simple as putting Ellie's blood on the bit. Burn in hell Kathleen you heartless sociopath. Unlike the other infected The giant Fungi("Boss Monster") appeared to be able to see and was clearly smarter. It seemed aware of its actions, and made no attempt to infect people. It slamed someone to the ground then immediately turned its attention directly to Kathleen's right hand guy not to infect him but to kill him. Tearing his head off. I'm so sad about Henry and Sam.
I love your reactions, Biss. Personally, I don't understand how people get so easily emotional about fictional characters. Sure, every now & then something speaks to me deeply, but I've got bigger things to cry about than BS storytelling. I'm sure everyone has told you that the big infected are called Bloaters.

That big infected creature was very "Chunky"

All others reactors are in a corner crying with broken hearts
Bisflix Small sigh and "Ah shit "
You’re very intuitive, you’re very good at figuring out what’s going before they reveal it.
This was another great episode BIss. It was just so sad that we lost both Henry and Sam and the way they were lost. This show definately knows how to make your heart pump and eyes tear up.
It's also interesting that under KC FEDRA, as awful as they were, they survived twenty years. Under Kathleen... eleven days.
23:21 Game of Thrones, Post Apocalyptic series -> The Last of Us. Yep, accurate.
Like frank said find a purpose and Sam was Henry’s purpose and without him he didn’t want to go on.
When Sam saw Joel shooting at them he figured that “an enemy of my enemy, is my friend” he thought this could definitely be alliance.
Very good episode and reaction. 😊
Did we cry? Some,.for sure.
I'd be disturbed / impressed by anyone who managed to not be moved to tears by the fate of Henry and Sam.
I mean moved sure I was moved but I did not cry
@@BissFlix I guess I was being a little judgmental there, not like I sobbed - just got a few tears in my eyes.

loved both the episode and your reaction
The sniper, I don’t think he was actually trying to hit them. He was laying suppressive firing to lock them in place for when Kathleen arrives.
I was wondering when you would get to do this episode reaction. Something to look forward to each week.
18:36 Yep, yep, and yep. If you look at the credits of the episode you will see what it is called.
" nighty hours" funny
go pew pew!
I mean, Kathleen isn't wrong about prioritizing one life over the many.
Awesome episode and great reaction. I love it how you analyze the episode while watching it and mostly (if not always) getting to the correct conclusions. Thank you. ~ Vals
Bis you need to take a blood test, you have a lot of VLAD in you, so calm in watching wrenching emotional scenes.
[18:44] Bloater
Fun fact the lady who played Kathleen also played rose on 2 and a half men
Here is a video of the Magic slate:

Nice One
Please keep doing what you're doing; I am here for it.💯

Unlike the other infected
The giant Fungi("Boss Monster") appeared to be able to see and was clearly smarter. It seemed aware of its actions, and made no attempt to infect people. I'm so sad about Henry and Sam.
The Last of Us 1x5 Reaction
You should write for season 2 😊
They keep introducing to sympathetic characters and then take them away. They certainly learned some things from GOT.
I feel like the speed at which they do it is numbing the effect. In Walking Dead they pad things out quite a bit so things can catch you by surprise.
Hey biss do the reaction of a movie "The Usual Suspects"...pleaseeee
