Mike, have only ever heard three stations on 630m due to electrical noise. This week I was trying to quiet the PWM motors on my high efficiency furnace. I started separating control/signal and power wires, twisting wire pairs and threw in a bunch of Mix 31 chokes. I further discovered how dirty/noisy the motherboard is even when the furnace is not running. Magically, this lowered the noise levels on many bands and now 630m is clear with multiple CW signals. I'm on cloud nine since then! Thanks for wonderful videos!!! Merry Xmas!! bill KA0HCP
Mix 31 is good stuff for EMI. The other approach is a noise canceller. I built one a few years ago. Actually 2. One was totally passive and one was a pair of front ends into a summing amp with a phasing control. I was having a lightpole noise issue.
@@MIKROWAVE1 I'm familiar with the mfj 1026. I used it during my 20 Townhouse exile in Maryland. Lol. Glad to be back on the Kansas prairie as of three years ago.
I’m really a beginner when it comes to LF. I currently have around a 1/2 wave long wire 300m, I can go a full wavelength here, space is no issue in these big forests. Can I use this simple 1.5mm multi-core copper wire to transmit from a 50ohm output transmitter? Obviously I would need to match and possibly terminate the wire? I have a good ground dug deep. I would really appreciate some basic advice! 73 Matt.
Great question! Many folks use a bow and arrow or a slingshot or even a CO2 launcher with strong cord or mono. I am a fisherman. I use a bass rod and 12 lb test and simply cast it where I want it and then pull up a strong cord.

Hvala ti brate i nastavi sa pravljenjem radija!
I need to borrow a little of your tree growing juice.
Its all great till it is not, and a big branch comes down and takes out 3 antennas at once.. Ha.
It must be nice to live where you can get a hold of old gear! This crappy town I live in, only I can spell electronics!!
I am a bit spoiled being close to the Nearfest Ham Fest Grounds, known for boat anchors for trade and sale.
Everything I want has to be shipped hundreds of miles. Same problem
That's great! Can I use this antenna for NDB DX?
Рамочная антенна из моих предыдущих видео отлично подойдет для NDB DX.
How do you get the wires up in the tree?
