Not hard to see why this game fell when you busted out a car in a medieval fantasy game. By now XLGames is probably preparing to introduce F-35s and B2 bombers.
It's kinda a steampunk/industrial revolution era mixed with medieval fantasy. "Modern" vehicles were possible because of the thunderstruck tech. It is near Final Fantasy in terms of concept. This car on the video is a more "recent" introduction, looking more like a luxury car. Originally the cars were smaller, but back in the past we already had speedboats and some other things.
