The whole Butker conversation and Nate’s explanation of coverage is what drive people in this country to loathe journalists. Nate, your whole mission in the press conferences was to try to get Mahomes or Reid to come out against Butker. Why do you do that? If a Chiefs player came out and expressed that they believe in unlimited abortion it is a fact he wouldn’t be hounded about it.
Idk why "journalists" intentionally try to stir the pot for the team they specifically cover. Like, why?? Why are we instigating the situation and deliberately trying to fuel the drama.? Embarrassing. Stop TRYING to make something out of nothing.

Why is it so hard to just respond to what Butker actually said? He did not say that women should not work. He actually pointed out that being a wife and mother was a fulfilling job. He also expressed his love and gratefulness for his wife and how he wouldn't be the man he is without her. Plus, he is a conservative Catholic who spoke conservative Catholic views to a conservative Catholic audience. He didn't say this on a soapbox on the street. He didn't say this in a press conference. He didn't say this on the football field. Just the dumbest outrage ever.
Agreed. But because Butker doesn’t fall in line with leftist group think that he has to be taken down. Nate’s entire motivation was to get Mahomes or Reid to speak out against him.
The past couple of weeks revealed much of Chiefs media and podcasters are pro weed and anti traditional values. They willingly distort views with which they disagree. Good to know where they stand. Now we have context and a lens from which to view their content.
Butker spoke very boldly like his faith calls for, like Jesus did for what He came to share. Butker called out the Left and their leader , Biden. He identified the diabolical lie of feminism. Rather than a wife being submissive (in the biblical definition) feminism supports the independent and strong woman who is equal to man in every way. Ohhhh, they hate that. A Christian man understands the unmeasureable value of a Christian woman. They are not less and may be in the home or working. Bottom line, the Left felt the sting of HB 's bold words. Good! I feel the sting of this countries culture everyday and it's WAY more than a 20 minute speech. Left is just thinned skin, and ferocious. Just look up what they are wanting as Butkers consequences for what they might perceive as hateful and violent attack. I am guessing a little bc I don't look for it, but it finds me. Lol

As much as I like these guys, I am so angry and annoyed with the self righteous liberalism from Nate and Josh. Very proud of Seth for getting angry at Nate’s lies. This is the medias fault and comes from the world hating God and the Bible.

The reason the Butker stuff is an issue is because journalists have made it such. I think you should have a Catholic or someone who might agree or somewhat agree with Butker on the show if you actually want to explore this. I think Butker could've phrased some of his comments better, but I don't think they're crazy. They're very Catholic comments to a certain degree.
It's wild that the wildly misinterpreted and hyperbolized statements in a private ceremony, some how obligates Andy Reid to "sit down with distressed female co-workers about their trauma" from said statements. What kind of addle-brained dope actually cooked that up in their brains as something that would actually happen, ever?

As a Catholic I just wanna point out that-like all large demographics of people-we don’t necessarily all align on every “issue” (and that’s okay!). I mean, look no further than the nuns at Benedictine who took issue w/ some of what he said.

I didn’t have a real strong reaction to the things said by either “side” (Butker or the pushback against him); I mostly saw it as “live and let live” and then moved on with my day.

Ummm, you should do your research on your allegations toward Tyreek. In the end, we got a more accurate picture of the dynamics. Chiefs knew it and that's why they drafted him. Also, there was a HUGE uproar over Tyreek. So, maybe just ask any long term KC fan and they can tell you. At the same time, there have been player issues that didn't get blown up, but those weren't on video, and if they were, the player ended up on the Browns. Butker gonna get persecuted bc he spoke against worldly behaviors and celebrating his wife's role. Women had a little cognitive dissonance. Hope I didn't come across as rude.
I’ve been a KC fan for 20+ years… the Tyreek stuff was always brushed under the rug because of his talent and production. Not specific to him that’s just how the NFL works. The Butker thing is just an absolute joke! He’s a devout catholic sharing his views at a catholic commencement!! I think it’s ridiculous he’s getting crushed for sharing his beliefs. Especially in a day and age where people are obliterated for having any kind of push back on mainstream views. People don’t have to agree but it’s disgusting to give him hate over it!
