You don't hear Asean countries bitch about the UK much tho for polluting SEA with trash as compared to the US & Germany. But that is mostly due to the UK shipping it to Turkey and not ASEAN.

Hmm- I do agree on the plastic bags over bbt though. It’s a chicken and egg issue right. One can argue that it’s the company policy that provides the plastic bag over the bbt hence customer has no control over it. But it can also be due to too many people asking for a plastic bag over the bbt such that it’s a policy or norm for companies to provide those. And to be honest, I do not see enough people saying ‘no’ to plastic bags for bbt though.
