I like how if you die a second time to most creatures, the Guiding Light tells you more about them than the first death. The GL just wants you to succeed so after each death, it tells you more info about your killer whilst still leaving a bit to discover yourself
@@Acorniscute i think literally all of the monsters name represent what they do or what they are. Seek basically seeks you down and murders you, the figure is a figure and rush basically just rushes your player character's path/room
Curiosities: - When you are facing Halt, the message telling you to turn back is not from Halt, it is actually the Guide Light entity helping you to face Halt. - Halt and Guiding Light have similar lights, which confuses some people. - The message asking you to come out of the closet is not from the Light-Guide, it's actually from the Hide entity.
The funny part is that I got Ambush the first time that I played Doors, and I haven't found Rush yet. So when it says "Use what you have learned from Rush!" I was like "From who now?"
guiding light actually highlights doors in dark rooms. and if the door is locked, it highlights the key to help you open it. guiding light is really useful in screech rooms, if you don’t want to stay for too long. i like to wait at the front of the dark room for the guiding light to highlight the door so i can see if it’s locked or not.
Its also helpful now as of the Hotel+ update when you have a Dupe door. If you have a Dupe, wait for a little while till Guiding Light highlights the doors and look for which door is highlighted the brightest as the brightest light means its the real door, the dull lights mean they're Dupe. ^-^ Otherwise you can just listen for rain (indicates the right door) or Dupes growling (Fake doors). Keys will also as you expect give you the right number if you get Dupe when there are locked doors. Rush and Ambush will also reveal the right door if you get them during Dupe as they will always open the right door and at times knock the numbers off the fake ones :p
I had gotten a death message from dying to seek like about twice(when i first started playing) it was similar to the first death but instead of it saying "The lights will guide you" it said "My lights will guide you"
My brother got a death message for Ambush which had the sentence "Ambush and Hide prove to be a tricky duo", for some reason it isn't shown in the video

I love how the developers lets the player learn about the habilities of your killer, to know more about what you need to do to prevent them. I really like that, because otherwise it will take too long to figure out how to prevent the monsters. Big respect.

Ambush and Hide have a unique interaction with eachother. If you just hide in the closet and don’t get back in or out, hide will push you out and ambush will get you, causing a unique death message saying that they’re a troublesome duo or something.
This dude had to get all the seeks messages, figure messages in room 50 and room 100. Honestly the amount of time this guy put in this video is insane.
There’s some guiding message you missed though. If you die to ambush after getting pushed out by Hide, it’ll give you another message. Not sure if this applies to Rush though.

The first death message says “You were caught by Seek…” that made me think that Seek turns you into one of the eyes you see before and during its chase.
That may be true because I already saw in spectate mode that when seek cathes you the kind of liquid he is made off spread on your body and you become totally black like him (no racism or dark humor I'm Deadass serious)
I just love how Guiding Light is so kind and gives more hints about the entity we died to. We could die twice or thrice to that entity, and if you died twice or thrice Guiding Light will try to guide you until you successfully survive/pass that entity.
GL is surely a kind spirit but he gets mad if you die to the anti-cheat script. Homever new players obviously need someone to give them tips if they keep dying to the same entity over and over again, it’s surely helpful.
Fun fact! One of the death messages that are not on here (probably because you wouldn’t think to do this) is dying to ambush because hide is stopping you from hiding! It tells you that hide and ambush are a deadly combo and how to avoid it, was actually the first death message I got about ambush

The guiding light is a blue light that can speak to the dead after they fall. It is also known that they help you with monsters and what they do, he can also guide you in dark rooms with its blue light glimmering around keys or doors. Same as in the seek chase, he shows you where the correct doors and crawl spaces are. My theory is that the guiding light is a hotel worker that died and his spirit is a blue light that sparkles and glimmers. But maybe he's a monster that was bored of killing. Maybe he was a hotel client that didn't want any other clients to have such a death. Either way these theory's are just for fun, roblox doors can possibly have a good story with all of these theory's.
there are two more messages from rush and ambush note: this message will trigger if Hide push you out or Hide stopping you from hiding then getting killed by Rush/Ambush however, the rush is the rarest message since its extremely hard to get you pushed out by hide or hide stopping you from hiding rush: "What a predicament... You died to Rush, because you couldn't hide. Remember, you only have to hide once Rush is near." ambush: "You died to who you call Ambush, because you couldn't hide. I love how for Seek and Figure it hasa bunch of cutscenes just to show you everything. Like for not crouching in the blockings, not going to the correct door, getting caught by the hands, being burned by the chandeliers, dying to heart minigame and not making sounds. I think its cool that they made a cutscene for almost everyway you could die.
Rush cannot spawn unless the room has more than 2 hiding spots, beds, closets, etc. This could only happen if someone ran into the next room and it had no hiding spots. My conclusion? This is probably real.
Its a good idea so that other people with anxiety or other types of phobias will get calmed down so that they wont get a heart attack unless if they are 20, 30, 40 etc.

If there was a death screen for Timothy, I could imagine it being like this, "You died... to a spider." No tips, it just boots you to the results immediately.

I really love the death screen. While you're trying to avoid death, you get stressed out and then you die, you hear a lot of noise, and the screen is red. But then, it fades to the same blue glow that guides you, and it gives you advice on how to avoid the monsters, all the while playing a sentimental guitar rift.
The reason why is because the Creators said Glitch wasn’t canon, he only exists for utility basically. He teleports you to other players if you fall behind and is rarely seen if the next room fails to load.
I was doing a solo run and I encountered Glitch. Fortunately, it just teleported me to the next room without taking my health. Additionally, I notice that one of the rooms might be noclipping with each other so while Glitch teleported me, the room degenerated and I was teleported to a new generated one.
If you are behind your friends about 10 rooms the room you are in will be unloaded and glitch will tp u to ur friends and taking 40/70% hp but if there was a failload he will give the room time to load while u are in Glitch animation and he won’t damage you because it isn’t your mistake
Glitch can appear if a room generation error accours, such as no next door, if that happens glitch appears and teleports you to the next room, dealing no damage and if your behind from your team, he will damage you
at 6:58 the reason you cant get under the crawl spaces its because the devs removed the animation for laggy people so it makes it fair for laggy people. Some people still think that the animation is still there.
Idk if anyone pointed this out but i find it odd that in most of the death messages you are being told who you died to and in some of them not really Example :"you died to rush" and "you died to who you call the figure" It's very interesting because it means (lore whise) that the guiding light doesnt really know how to call all of these monsters, so it calls them by the name YOU (the player) gave them

So this happened in my literal first run,i was on like door 38 and for someone reason i hadn’t encountered ambush yet.I entered the next room and the lights flickered,i had a friend with me who had made it to door 50 before and he told me to hide.I saw him dash into a closet and i tried the same BUT jack of course had to give me a heart attack,fortunately i got in the closet in time and ambush passed.My friend didn’t see ambush and thought rush came so he went out of the closet and died…I got so scared i stayed in the closet even after ambush stopped coming and since i was low from screech/timothy attacks + the fact i was in the closet for so long i died to hide lol
Fun fact: ambush can spawn as early as door 5! Me and my friends once encountered it there, and it went 6 times! 6 is the max it can go if you didn’t know!

I feel like for when GL says “who you call [name]”, it has some really complex name most humans don’t understand, so it’s given a nickname similar to the simpler-named monsters
One thing I notice is that a lot of the messages in the first death will say something like "you died to who you call ____" To me it indicates that the narrator may call these monsters something else.
The best thing about this game is the guiding lights telling you some information on the entity, but not all of it, and if you die a secound time to it it will tell you more info and just enough to keep you alive
0:51 is glitch. I have found him when i got stuck at seeks moonrun after getting locked out. You get glitched and loose some hp i believe, it teleports you to where the others are, or a specific door

Whats even better is that not only does it tell you who you died to SOLO. If you die to a DUO of monsters such as Rush + Hide. It will actually acknowledge this combination by saying "You died to Rush because You couldn't HIDE". So much effort and dedication put into this game i cant believe it.

And And the guide gives clues to the players to keep them alive. The guide knows about the monsters because they were one(?) and yeah. I MEAN LIKE IT SHOULD BE A MOVIE! its because the correct path is seeks path so if you meet seek on the opposite path he will get you and if seek gets you that could only mean you got lost in the opposite direction
It can see you progressing, also, the correct path is where Seek is going to go, so if you go to the opposite direction, the Guiding Light can assume you got lost

I just love how Guiding Light is so kind and gives more hints about the entity we died to. We could die twice or thrice to that entity, and if you died twice or thrice Guiding Light will try to guide you until you successfully survive/pass that entity.
GL is surely a kind spirit but he gets mad if you die to the anti-cheat script.
Homever new players obviously need someone to give them tips if they keep dying to the same entity over and over again, it’s surely helpful.

Fun fact! One of the death messages that are not on here (probably because you wouldn’t think to do this) is dying to ambush because hide is stopping you from hiding! It tells you that hide and ambush are a deadly combo and how to avoid it, was actually the first death message I got about ambush

The guiding light is a blue light that can speak to the dead after they fall. It is also known that they help you with monsters and what they do, he can also guide you in dark rooms with its blue light glimmering around keys or doors. Same as in the seek chase, he shows you where the correct doors and crawl spaces are.
My theory is that the guiding light is a hotel worker that died and his spirit is a blue light that sparkles and glimmers. But maybe he's a monster that was bored of killing. Maybe he was a hotel client that didn't want any other clients to have such a death. Either way these theory's are just for fun, roblox doors can possibly have a good story with all of these theory's.
One time I died by Figure while getting in a hiding spot at Door 100, then guess what? It said: "Died to Unknown, Reached Room 0."

Respect for this man has to pass every door and clips every death to get almost all guiding message clips
I love how for Seek and Figure it hasa bunch of cutscenes just to show you everything. Like for not crouching in the blockings, not going to the correct door, getting caught by the hands, being burned by the chandeliers, dying to heart minigame and not making sounds. I think its cool that they made a cutscene for almost everyway you could die.
Rush actually has 4 guiding messages. The fourth being when you are in a room with no hiding spots.
Usually rush can’t come if you can’t hide but it did happen to me once since everyone took all the hiding spots

Rush cannot spawn unless the room has more than 2 hiding spots, beds, closets, etc.
This could only happen if someone ran into the next room and it had no hiding spots.

I really love the death screen. While you're trying to avoid death, you get stressed out and then you die, you hear a lot of noise, and the screen is red. But then, it fades to the same blue glow that guides you, and it gives you advice on how to avoid the monsters, all the while playing a sentimental guitar rift.
It scares me how even the game doesn’t know what glitch is, like it’s a legit glitch or something…
The reason why is because the Creators said Glitch wasn’t canon, he only exists for utility basically. He teleports you to other players if you fall behind and is rarely seen if the next room fails to load.

I was doing a solo run and I encountered Glitch. Fortunately, it just teleported me to the next room without taking my health. Additionally, I notice that one of the rooms might be noclipping with each other so while Glitch teleported me, the room degenerated and I was teleported to a new generated one.
If you are behind your friends about 10 rooms the room you are in will be unloaded and glitch will tp u to ur friends and taking 40/70% hp but if there was a failload he will give the room time to load while u are in Glitch animation and he won’t damage you because it isn’t your mistake
Glitch can appear if a room generation error accours, such as no next door, if that happens glitch appears and teleports you to the next room, dealing no damage and if your behind from your team, he will damage you
Glitch is the only monster that would damage you for a reason. ( slacking while ur friends are way ahead )

The more I think about it, the more I realize that this game has a few elements from the roguelike genre (mostly with improving after each death)
at 6:58 the reason you cant get under the crawl spaces its because the devs removed the animation for laggy people so it makes it fair for laggy people. Some people still think that the animation is still there.

One thing I notice is that a lot of the messages in the first death will say something like "you died to who you call ____" To me it indicates that the narrator may call these monsters something else.

The best thing about this game is the guiding lights telling you some information on the entity, but not all of it, and if you die a secound time to it it will tell you more info and just enough to keep you alive

0:51 is glitch. I have found him when i got stuck at seeks moonrun after getting locked out. You get glitched and loose some hp i believe, it teleports you to where the others are, or a specific door

Ok but doors has like, incredible lore, it should be a game. Like the guide (idk if that’s its name) helps you, like it’s a riddle. The guide floats around in little blue sparkles and closed eyes. (If it’s open it’s white eyes) and the monsters try to hunt you down. The picture should be the players & players friends. The guide is next to the players. It can be included or not. And And the guide gives clues to the players to keep them alive. The guide knows about the monsters because they were one(?) and yeah. I MEAN LIKE IT SHOULD BE A MOVIE! THE LORE, THE INCREDIBLE MONSTERS. LIKE ITS AMAZING!

its because the correct path is seeks path so if you meet seek on the opposite path he will get you and if seek gets you that could only mean you got lost in the opposite direction

Eyes:You died to eyes. They don't like to be stared at.
Eyes again:They have a unique audio cue. Once you hear it be prepared. Use their blue light to work out their location. Look away from them at all times.
Halt:You died to who you call Halt. You must run away from it! However it may appear in front of you at any time.
Halt again:You died to Halt again. As you run, it may appear in front of you at any time. When it does, turn around and keep running! This process will repeat multiple times.
Rush:You died to Rush. Pay attention to any cues that might hint at its arrival
Rush 2:You died to Rush again. Pay attention to the lights. They are related to its arrival.
Rush 3:It seems you are having trouble with Rush. The lights will always flicker when its near. Whenever this happens, find a hiding spot!
