Jesus needed the man to carry His Cross. Muhammad had no such experience. He fell short of it. He failed in his task ... because of the PEOPLE! It was Joshua who fulfilled Moses' duty. Likewise, Jesus also FAILED in His mission/task, like Moses, because of the PEOPLE! (Isaiah 49v4-5) 15) *BOTH MOSES AND JESUS WENT TO ISRAEL {{TWICE}}!!* The first time Moses went to Israel, they rejected him. He left. He married a Gentile wife. He had 2 sons. The second time Moses went to Israel, they embraced him. Who does that sound like!? Muhammad!? Not on your life! Muhammad is irrelevant! That sounds like Jesus! First time Jesus went to the Jews, they rejected Him ... just like they did with Moses! He left ... just as Moses did! He married a Gentile Wife (Church is the "Bride of Christ") ... just as Moses did. He is over 2 Covenants (Cornerstone) ... just as Moses was over 2 sons. The Second Time He comes, the Jews will embrace Him because THEY are the ones who will be crying out to Him as Lord and Savior and God. He comes to save ISRAEL! The Second Coming is for the Salvation of no one else but ISRAEL! "You will never see My face again, UNTIL you repent as a nation unto Me" - Jesus (baruch haba b'shem adonia) The Jews will wake up, but not until they are purified by the fires of Jacobs Trouble. So, let the antichrist come! Let Catholocism remain for a little while longer! Let Islam and its brutality grow. They are all puppets of God's Word, and designed for a purpose - the SALVATION OF THE JEWS (though it is unto the everlasting destruction of billions of others)! THE PROPHET LIKE MOSES IS {NOT} JOSHUA! (Jews are dead wrong!) THE PROPHET LIKE MOSES IS {NOT} ELIJAH! (unlearned people are dead wrong!) THE PROPHET LIKE MOSES IS CERTAINLY {NOT} MUHAMMAD! (Muslims have always been wrong, and lied to, and tellers of lies!) *THE PROPHET LIKE MOSES IS, AND EVER SHALL BE, JESUS AND ONLY JESUS!*

+Colin Patterson God is different from anything the human mind can think of or imagine, so the mind will become confused if it tries to picture God. Nevertheless, it is possible to understand the attributes of God that do not require one to make any mental pictures of Him.
ISLAM is the truth , i am a ex christian and i have accepted islam. prophesy in john 16 about prophet mohammed P.B.U.H which christian claim to be holy spirit prophesy is false because john 20 22....says And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. (THIS HAPPENED EVEN BEFORE JESUS ASCENDED TO THE FATHER) so prophesy in john 16 is not about holy spirit as christians say.....
no christian can say/claim Deuteronomy 18:18 was meant for Jesus because they(christians) believe he is the God incarnate and not a prophet..the verse truely fits Muhammad like a glove...
+dunkenus Deuteronomy 18:18 wan NOT muhammad who was said to be a descendant of Ishmael! God of Abraham, refuses to accept Ishmael who was accursed (Genesis 16:11-12) God will NOT raise up a prophet from accursed man! (Genesis 17:18-19) and God specifically stated that Kings and People will come from the wife of Abraham, Sarah in which HE shall establish His covenant forever, and not from Hagar! Ishmael and his descendant were from Hagar. Deut 18:18 has been fulfilled and the Prophet like Moses is Jesus Christ who was foretold by all the Holy Prophets of God! Muhammad was not foretold by all the Holy Prophets of God! Acts 3:20-22 "And that He may send JESUS CHRIST, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the time of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of ALL HIS HOLY PROPHETS SINCE THE WORLD BEGUN. For Moses truly said to the fathers, THE LORD YOUR GOD WILL RAISE UP FOR YOU A PROPHET LIKE ME from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things whatever He says to you" Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of prophesy in Deut 18:18 "the Prophet like Moses"! Islam claims on Deut 18:18 as muhammad guilty on Deut 18:20 which says "But any prophet who says in My Name anything that I did not command, or speak in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die". Muhammad speak in the name of other god, he died!
For the sake of argument lets assume that it indeed was talking of prophet Jesus pbuh. So now who is jesus referring to in John 16:12? I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when He the spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
World Peace Friend, Muhammad was NOT THE PROPHET like Moses that will raise up by God from among the descendant of people led by Moses! Its Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ in John 16:12 was referring to the Holy Spirit (Spirit of Truth) who can be with us forever. Jesus said in John 16:14: "He (The Holy Spirit or the Spirit of Truth) will Glorify Me and He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you". Muhammad didn't Glorify Jesus and didn't took of what Jesus has! He was also said to be descendant of Ishmael. Ishmael was accursed to be a WILD ASS OF A MAN (Genesis 16:11-12) God will NOT RAISE UP a prophet like Moses from the descendant of an accursed Ishmael. God also stated categorically that He will bless Sarah and FROM HER will come nations; Kings and Peoples shall come from Sarah! (Genesis 17:15-16)
The Pastor believes Jesus to be God, so how can he claim that Dueteronomy 18 refers to Jesus? Dueteronomy refers to a "Prophet" to come not God. You can't have it both ways.

Most pathetic argument from the Christian panel. Actually never made an argument. Deuteronomy 18 vague? Vague? It's literally a prophecy, describing a prophet to come, and the theme pops up over and over! Moses and Mohammad have over 100 commonalities!! Both orphans, both had an exodus, both freed slaves, both struggled against an opposing ruler, who both grew up together! Both had children, both had more than 1 wife. They both brought a new religion, new political systems, new laws and a new book. They both had thousands of followers, they both died naturally! Must I even keep going?
+Shidoshi Tanaka Only a Charletan like paul would qoute old scriptures. The psalms don't copy anything from Torah and so on. You literally just said the one who copies the prior is the real scripture. How stupid.
It's not about copying. It's about quoting previous scriptures to present your case, showing the fulfilment of those previous passages. All the Prophets and Apostles did that. Why didnt Mohammad refer to Deuteronomy18 and John14 to prove himself? lol
Jesus is the son of God The bible says that Jesus is refereed to the Son and not the Father. (Psalm 2:7, Mark 1:11, Romans 1:4, Luke 9:35, 1 John 4:11) God The Father sent his Son down to preach to the world A Prophet is someone who listens and obeys everyone of God's commands. Jesus came down manifested in the spirit of the Father, given the gift of divinity, born of a virgin, born absolutely sinless and pure. The reason why he is considered to be the greatest prophet among the nations is because he fulfilled the Jewish covenant on the cross, shortly after God raised him from the dead and we are called into a new covenant called the law of Grace.
Mr,,,You are very bad informed by your leaders ! psalms, Mark,Luke and john are not from Paul. I advice you to study before you make your self ridiculous on youtube
wonder lust Jesus was the begotten son of God. He has been honoured by God to be a God. He has the same likeliness as God because he was obedient. So God honoured Jesus to have a name that is above all names and every knee shall bow tongue confess upon the Heavens and below the earth that Jesus Christ is Lord. He is seen as many things. A God, servant of God, son of God etc . He is known to us Christains as our Lord and saviour! Jesus did the laying upon the hands like Moses. He was an Israeli born in Jerusalem. The meaning of prophet is someone who brings the message of God unto his people. Jesus did that. He brought the message of God unto all people! A voice came from the cloud, saying, "This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him. Luke 9:35 The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him. Deuteronomy 15:18 Notice the similarity? You must "listen to him" Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites listened to him and did what the LORD had commanded Moses. Deuteronomy 34:9 Did Jesus also performed similar miracles when laying his hands on people? Yes He did in Matthew 8:3 where Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. Muhammad laid his hands upon no one and performed no miracles. And HE has sent down the Torah (Law of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guidance to the people; and HE has sent down the Discrimination (judgement between right and wrong) Surah 3:3-4 So what books were considered to be a 'guidance' to the people according to the quraan? It is the Torah and the Bible! The 'brothers' that God has chosen to raise up a prophet like Moses will come from the Tribe of Jacob. Isaiah 41:9 I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, 'You are my servant'; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. Isaiah 41:8 "But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend. Genesis 35:10, God said to him, "Your name is Jacob, but you will no longer be called Jacob; your name will be Israel." So he named him Israel. Ishmael was the cursed son of Abraham. However, Jacob was the 'chosen' seed. Those who are 'great' are those who are blessed not cursed. Who are the descendants of Jacob?? "Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali ,Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjamin." Is Ishmael included there? NO! Who was the earthly father of Jesus? It was Joseph! Joseph was the son of who? Jacob! So those amongst their brothers refers to Israel! You need revelation and holy spirit to understand this and the Bible! Those who didn't believe in Jesus were held captives as slaves and in bondage. That's why 'blacks' went into slavery. We was once upon a time lost but then we were found. God uses slavery to bring people back to him and He even used the white man to teach the Bible. Same way the children of Israel went into bondage and slavery in Egypt because they wouldn't hearken to the voice of God. The quraan says "people of the book you will attain nothing until you read the Torah and the Gospel." Muhammad admittedly received a message from Satan and delivered it to the people…as if it were from God. Qur’an 53:19-20, 17:73-75, 22:52-53

Yes, its from Allah but not God though. Allah is a pimp who raised a child molester as Prophet who went about and raped women, molested a child Aisha for nine years without repentance, and stole the property of many tribes around. Muhammad is a despicable person, not a prophet of God Almighty.

I could say the same thing. The Bible makes no reference to Mohammed at all but you use this verse as evidence. Brethren can also mean people belonging to a particular group.
peace& Love Muslims use the bible because that's what Christians believe in. But Muslims don't need the bible to confirm that Muhammad pbuh was a messenger from God. We have the Quran for that.
Prophet Jesus pbuh himself said, my kingdom is not of this world..I will send you a comforter after me, it is expedient that i go away, for if i dont depart the comforter will not come..
'But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.' (John 16:7) -the holy ghost/spirit was already present before Jesus was born, it was already present at the time of Zecheriah, in the womb of Elizabeth, it was present during the time of Jesus baptism by John the Baptist, it was there at Pentecost
fidel catsro You are so right. It was "present" per say but He wasn't IN them. Only a select few had the experience of the Holy Spirit. But only on the day of Pentecost was the Holy Spirit in them as how Jesus said he would come. But don't worry. Changing the context of everything is always done by Muslims trying to get Mohammed in the Bible. How about read Acts 2 again when Peter gives his speech proving that was the Holy Spirit prophesied by Jesus.
WHEN CHRISTIANS HATE WHEN WE SAY "ALLAH" and few of them say bad things about "ALLAH"...not knowing "ALLAH" is used for"GOD "in their own bible...i feel sorry for them...... :(

Lance Gin your reference to the Quran is talking about Christians are going to hell sooo.. who ever says that god has a son or he has a partner will never enter heaven. But on the day of judgment all Christians are going to run to Jesus saying save us he will say as Mathew 7:22 Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles Mathew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
It is so sad to see what appears to be them seeing the truth and yet trying to refute it. It is an arrogance and fear of admitting they were wrong....instead of embracing the good.....the evidence is clear! Quran 6:157 "Or lest you say, "If only the Scripture had been revealed to us, we would have been better guided than they." So there has [now] come to you a clear evidence from your Lord and a guidance and mercy. Then who is more unjust than one who denies the verses of Allah and turns away from them? We will recompense those who turn away from Our verses with the worst of punishment for their having turned away."

Deuteronomy, Chapter 18: “I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.” (Deuteronomy 18:18-19) Here Moses is addressing the Children of Israel. He quotes Jehovah as telling him of the coming of a Prophet. The marks for recognizing the coming prophet would be as follows: 1. He would be from among the brethren of the Children of Israel. 2. He would be like Moses. 3. He would speak words and commands put in his mouth by God. 4. He would speak in God’s name. If you examine the above details of the distinguishing traits of the foretold prophet and those of Muhammad (peace be upon him) who was born centuries after this prophecy, you will be surprised to learn of the striking similarities. Jesus or Muhammad? Here one may also consider the Christian argument that the above prophecy is about Jesus. So we need to examine who is actually meant here, with reference to the details of the prophecy. 1. It is clearly mentioned that the coming prophet would be from ‘their brethren’, i.e. from the brethren of the Children of Israel. We know that Jesus was one of the Children of Israel and so it is clear that the prophecy does not apply to him. Whereas Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born in the family of Ishmael; indeed his grandfather was Qaidar (Biblical name: Kedar), one of the twelve sons of Ishmael. 2. Of the two prophets (i.e. Jesus and Muhammad) one is mentioned to be like Moses. In fact, it is Prophet Muhammad who is really like Moses, and not Jesus. For instance, Jesus was born miraculously without a father; he did not marry and lead a family life; his mission was very short (three years at the most); and God raised him unto Himself when he faced the possibility of violent death at the hands of his enemies. (Christians believe that he was crucified). And so, we find that Jesus did not have the time to realize the dream of establishing a society based on the principles he taught. Indeed, he had declared that his mission was for ‘the lost sheep of the house of Israel’ (Matthew 15:24), and not for the whole of humanity. Prophet Muhammad’s Mission Compare the above with the mission of Muhammad (peace be upon him). Like Moses, he had a father and mother; he married and led a family life; his mission was long like that of Moses; he died a natural death; and he brought a Law (Shari`ah) for the establishment of a social system, like Moses. It is also worth emphasizing that at the end of the Book of Deuteronomy, the following is clearly stated: “And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, in all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land, and in all that mighty hand…” (Deuteronomy 34:10-12) This makes it clear that there never was a prophet like Moses in the whole of Israel after Moses, according to the Bible. Thus, we can clearly see that between the two, it was Muhammad from the brethren of the Children of Israel, who could be called, “a Prophet like Moses”. And Allah knows best.
The Paraclete in John14:15-16 is Muhammad(PBUH) Jesus was speaking about another teacher like him to come, he was never meaning The Holy Spirit because he used " He" to describe the Paraclete 8 times and not "It". The Holy Spirit was already there with Jesus lol ,Christians are dellusional. Paraclete in Aramaic = Muhammana= in Arabic Al- Shafiea(الشفيع it is one of Prophet Muhammad's names in Islam.
+Abu Tawheed AlBroken Cross Are you sure? John 14:15-16 is telling us its muhammad? If that is so, then, islam is FALSE religion, Allah is FALSE god and muhammad is also a FALSE prophet! Friend, try to analyze! The speaker of that verse is Jesus Christ. Jesus told His closest disciples that He will pray to His FATHER and the Father will give them a Helper which is the Spirit of Truth that will be with them forever! The Helper which is the Spirit of Truth, will be sent through prayer of Jesus to His FATHER who is in heaven! Clearly, the One who sent the Helper (the Spirit of truth) IS NOT ALLAH! Allah is not a father to anyone, more so to Jesus!
Abu Tawheed AlBroken Cross Whatever "FATHER" means, the Father whom Jesus prayed for the Helper, is NOT ALLAH! The Father (God) Himself announces AND CONFIRMED to them from HEAVEN when it was OPENED and says: "THIS IS MY BELOVED SON IN WHOM I AM WELL-PLEASED" (Matthew 3:17) He is the one True and Only God, He is in heaven! Not allah who has no son and NOT a FATHER to anyone! Islam claims that the "Helper" mentioned by Jesus in John 14:15-16 is muhammad and was sent by allah. If the "Helper" is muhammad sent by allah, again, islam is FALSE religion, allah is a FALSE god and muhammad is a FALSE prophet! Because it is very clear that the one who sent the "Helper" is Jesus Christ Himself! So, Jesus is the allah who sent the "helper" but islam says Jesus is just a prophet which is FALSE! wrong! In John 15:26, Jesus told His Disciples: "But when the "Helper" comes WHOM I SHALL SEND TO YOU FROM THE FATHER,, the Spirit of Truth who proceeds from the FATHER, He will testify of Me" REFRAIN FROM CLAIMING, THE HELPER MENTIONED IN JOHN 14:15-16 IS MUHAMMAD! It will go against your belief!!!
abdul khali The Father is Allah. but the gospel was corrupted by the church, Christianity is a false belief taken from Kreshna and Methra. No wonder John has lots of ridiculous lies eg John 3:16
Abu Tawheed AlBroken Cross If the Gospel was corrupted, then, allah is a LIAR and confirmed he is a FALSE god. Allah (of the quran) affirmed that the Gospel can not be corrupted and no one can alter the words of allah (God). It was written in the quran! Here you are claiming that the Gospel was corrupted So, you are saying that allah is a liar and the quran itself is full of lies! Islam very certain muhammad was prophesied in Deuteronomy 18:18, Song of Songs and the Helper mentioned at John 14:15-16 is muhammad. And yet they are claiming the Gospel was corrupted!
@8:31 The Keyword here is PROPHET. I.e. a Prophet will arise.. if Christians believe Jesus was their God how can they say this Prophecy of a Prophet can be Jesus?
FreakishlyTrue That's because Jesus has many titles. High Priest, King, Son of Man, Son of God, God, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the End, The Ancient of Days, The Almighty, The LORD our Righteousness, God with us, Messiah, and finally Prophet. There are way more titles but I'll stop right there because you should get my point by now.
Moises Lopez I get your point and that is that Christians truely are Schitzophrenic. They will distort facts and go to any end to disguise and sugar coat to make Jesus relevant to everything. Truth is that Jesus was only a man and by his own claims he was not God he said by himself he can do nothing and he said he had a God. He said God is powerful than all. All prophets taught God is one and that idolatry and blasphemy are great sins. What christians are doing by believing in trinity and that a man was God is truely blasphemous and paganistic.
FreakishlyTrue By the words of Jesus is that all of scripture points towards Jesus. So it's not our fault we find Jesus everywhere in scripture. Also, when you quote small text about what Jesus said that supposedly means that he is not God is the very same chapters that prove Jesus is God. You only distord what Jesus actually gives to understand from what he said which is to show distinction between his human manifestation and his heavenly Goldly manifestation.
FreakishlyTrue To believe God was manifested as a man is far from being blasphemous. it is just taking scripture just as it is. Claiming the deity of Jesus.
Moises Lopez Where did Jesus claim to be devine? Answer is NOWHERE. Unbelievable how Christians believe in this myth. Send a direct verse where Jesus claimed to be God or where he said worship me! Dont come up with the alpha omega stuff cause that was a title nothing godly about that.
Wolfgang Goethe, the German Poet said: “I looked into history for a human paradigm and found it to be in Muhammad”. Reverend Bosworth Smith said: “If ever a man ruled by a divine right, it was Muhammad, for he had all the powers without their supports. He cared not for the dressings of power. The simplicity of his private life was in keeping with his public life” .

How was Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him, was more like Moossa alaisalaam than Issa alaisalaam. 1. Both Moossa alaisalaam and Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him was married and had children, unlike Issa alaisalaam. 2. Both were leaders and army commander of their people, unlike Issa alaisalaam. 3. Both were born by natural ways (mother and father procreating), unlike Issa alaisalaam who was born of the Virgin Maryam alaisalaam. 4. Both were exiled, unlike Issa alaisalaam. 5. Both were accepted and followed by their people, unlike Issa alaisalaam. (the Jews rejected him and humiliated him and his family). 6. Both died natural death, unlike Issa alaisalaam who was risen alive to heaven. So the question of who is more like Moossa alaisalaam, of Muhammad peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him, or Issa alaisalaam is quite clear and irrefutable. It is Muhammad peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him. Issa alaisalaam will come near the final hour and will follow the law of his brother Muhammad peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him as He alaisalaam followed the law of Moossa alaisalaam before He was risen to the heaven. And Allah knows best.

And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him." "thy brethren" is used for both the coming prophet and the first king of Israel, "thy brethren" and "brother" is referring to the Israelites themselves, as a people, the first king of Israel, Saul, was from among "thy brethren" and "brother", an Israelite.

They say, ‘Two kinds of sor-cery, helping each other,’ and, ‘We refuse to accept either of them.’"( surah Qasas 48) where does it say that Prophet Muhammad is not like Moses( peace be upon them)? stop lying. Qur'an actually confirms that Prophet Muhammad is like prophet Moses ( peace be upon them) "Indeed, We have sent to you a Messenger as a witness upon you just as We sent to Pharaoh a messenger."( sura Muzzammil 15)
The pastor seemed way out of his league here. Not cut out for these types of discussions. He didn't address the issue propperly, he barely even tried. His only response to it was a denial, without explanation, and calling the prophecy itself "vague". He lost the debate. Now, it could very well be that some person has a more reasonable response to the argument, but the pastor did not, and so he loses this debate on that topic. I still believe it's a valid argument, one among the strongest, and I have yet to see someone respond to it propperly, let alone refute it. About the gospels, I view them as books of fabricated ahadith, and I wouldn't use them to prove islam with. There could be some statements in there that are possibly true, but the gospels are highly unreliable if you ask me, so instead of sifting through them, trying to find some truth among the fiction, I think that they're pretty useless to us. All they really tell us is what their authors believed, and/or what these authors wanted other people to believe. I don't view them as accurate narrations of past events. Again, some truths may or may not be scattered among the gospels, but to me, these were written by followers of Paul, or people who had similar ideas as Paul, making them unreliable. So it's rather absurd trying to find something that makes sense to us, when most of what they contain should really be rejected as fiction. Thus, the gospels as a whole aren't the ideal place to look for proof for the islamic tradition. We know that Jesus(as) spoke about the coming of Muhammad(saw), but what was revealed to Jesus is not what we find in the gospels. That's just some author writing stories, while the person wasn't even present at the events he wrote about, just as Paul never even met Jesus. The gospel of Jesus isn't in the Bible. They don't have the Injeel. Maybe parts of them scattered throughout the New Testament, mixed with lies and fictional stories. The closest thing you're gonna get to the real christianity in the NT, and the contents of the real injeel, are probably in the Epistle of James. What James wrote about resembles islam more than anything. He even tells his readers to submit themselves to God. The letter barely even mentions Jesus, but focusses on detailing some of his teachings instead; as one would expect, from an islamic point of view. He's telling the lost tribes what their religion is, what they must do in life to enter paradise after death. He doesn't mention a crucifixion, no ressurection, no trinity, no God incarnate, no dying on a cross to take away the sins of mankind: none of that. He's explaining how they should keep the Laws of old. This is very problematic to any christian with a sound mind, especially since James isn't just anybody. This person could very well be the most important man in early christianity after Jesus, for multiple reasons. And here you have a letter of a man of such high status, explaining to you what his religion is, and it's nothing like Paul's (per)version of christianity. In fact, James and Paul weren't friends, and it could very well be the case that the very reason this letter was written, was to counter all the false stories and blasphemous propaganda that was going around during that early stage in christianity. That's why he wrote the letter: to explain to the lost tribes what their religion was. So apparently, there was a need for him to do so: apparently, confusion surrounding Jesus and his religion existed. James writes to make it clear to these lost tribes what religion is. He says that true religion is feeding the orphans, and this is very similar to what one can find in the Qur'an. James introduces himself as the slave of God, which in his own language would've sounded very similar to Abdullah. I think it's interesting that muslims don't focus on James more, especially since he is known as the brother of Jesus. Possibly the son of Joseph, according to some scholars. James is called Yacub As-Siddiq: the one that can be trusted, or James the Just, more commonly. He was the High Priest in the Temple in Jerusalem; the most important religious figure at his time. In one of the external scriptures (not found in the Bible), Jesus himself is said to have appointed James to be the leader of the believers after he(as) would leave them. This man is very important, obviously. So if that Epistle is accurate, and for the most part intact and true to the original letter (I don't believe that James would write to these lost tribes in the language of their enemies), then christians should really acknowledge the fact that their New Testament in reality contains two different versions of the religion. On the one hand, there is the christianity they're familiar with, the one they got from Paul, the self-appointed apostle, and on the other hand, there's the religion of James the Just, which in all honesty is more like islam than to the religion they follow. I have never met a christian who took this seriously, and I've never seen muslims using this in their debates with the christians. Paul was summoned to appear before James at the Temple at some point, he was forced to explain to him what he was doing, and had to humble himself before James. Paul sends his "salaams" to one of his family members, who was the man who lusted after his own niece, and had John the Baptist beheaded. That's Paul's family, that's a man Paul greets in his letters. Why doesn't Jesus address the hundreds of crucifixions that occured during that time, in the gospels? Believing men, women and children were being crucified by the Romans, by the hundreds. They'd hang them on trees, naked, upside down, leaving them to be eaten by wild animals. Only because they believed in One God. That's the people he came to, he's their Messiah, so why doesn't he mention it in the gospels? It's completely ignored, as if it never happened. They were suffering under Roman regime. They were in fact waging a war on the Romans and on the Jews who had compromised their religious identity to gain status within the Roman society. The Nazareens. John the Baptist was a Nazareen. This was a group of very religious Jews, who were waging this guerilla-type of war on the Romans. None of this shows up in the gospels. Rome was taxing the Jews heavily, forcing them into poverty. Yet, what does Jesus say about it? Pay unto Ceasar what is his. So he's basically telling them to be quiet and keep paying their taxes. Don't fight the oppressors, let them hit your other cheek as well. Be passive. That's the message. It's unacceptable in any real historical envirenmont. It's a pro-Roman Messiah, as if Rome is paying him. He wouldn't last very long among the Jews at that time. The Romans would not have killed him, they would have welcomed him with open arms. It's not an accurate historical person, he simply doesn't fit into the historical envirenmont of the time. He's walking, bare foot, going from one town to the next, sitting under a tree, telling people to love their neighbours, basically like some hippie Greek demi-god, while there were these brutal wars going on, while his people were starving, being ridiculed, taxed, murdered, hung on trees in the wild. Imagine George Bush writing an autobiography and in the chapter of 2001, he somehow forgets to mention the events that took place on 9/11. It's like that. It makes no sense. It does make sense, when we realize that these authors had a specific agenda. They weren't narrating real events, they were creating a religion ABOUT Jesus, while the religion OF Jesus, was being whiped out. James the Just was killed in the Temple for as far as I know. The believers fought against the Romans and the traitors from among the Jews, and they stood their ground for a while, but when the Prophet(saw) of God came, some 600 years later, it was Paul's version that was dominant. There were christian monks in Arabia, as well as Jewish tribes. What were they doing there? They were expecting a prophet to come, of course. They knew somehow. I wouldn't be surprised if the injeel survived among some groups or individuals, for some time after Jesus(as). But Allahu Alaam.
The similarities between Moses and Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon them. Both were born of a mother and father, were married and had children, both were statemen, both fought in the way of Allah, both migrated to another land due to violent persecution towards them and their followers and both died of natural death. Unlike Jesus, peace be upon him, who was bord miraculously without the intervention of a male, he wasn't married, never led any fight in the way of God, did not migrate to another land and did not die, but was risen alive.
That's fine, but that is NOT what the prophesy is asking for. Read Deut 18:5, Deut 18:7, Deut 18:9, Deut 18:13 . Deut 18:5 - Muhammad was of the Banu Hashim clan of the Quraish tribe Jesus was born into the tribe of JUDAH, which is one of the tribes of Israel. . Deut 18:7 - Muhammad has NO lineage to the tribe of LEVI Jesus had a lineage through his mothers side, his great-grandfather, was Matthan a levite priest like Aaron. . Deut 18:9 - Muhammad continued using the pagan ceremonies of the Quraish tribe, tawaf of the kaaba... Jesus preached MONOTHEISM throughout his ministry. . Deut 18:13 - Muhammad was a SINNER, he sinned, and continued to sin. Jesus was PERFECT, he never sinned ever. . Deut 18:20 - Muhammad uttered the SATANIC VERSES, so he spoke in the words of other "gods". Jesus repelled Satan, when Satan tried to tempt him.
the references about prophet Mohammad PBUH in the bible is as following. 1 the spirit of truth 2 the beloved of God. Christians should know that Mohammad PBUH has more than one name and one of his name is [ Habibullah ] which means beloved of God. 3 the Elect of God. another name of our prophet is [ Mustafa ] means the one whom God elected. 4 the praised one. the names Mohammad and Ahmad which are the names of our prophet means the most praised one. 5 A prophet who should be a light for the Gentiles means those who are not Jews. 6 a prophet like Moses 7 comforter 8 he should be in a place where Kedar ( the son of Ishmeal) lived. and many other references
Baheer Afghanzai But the quran acknowledges Jesus as son of God! In fact it agrees with Christians that Jesus was the son of God because a lot muslims say God does not begat sons right? Al Anbiya verse 26- And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or children)." Glory to Him! They [those whom they call children of Allah i.e. the angels, 'Iesa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary), 'Uzair (Ezra), etc.], are but honoured slaves.
Remember Muhammad flew a donkey to heaven. nobody can fly a 747 like Muhammad. Is this the prophet that people look up as example Muhammad was a warmonger and killed alot of people.

Deuteronomy 33 1_2 prophet muhammad peace and blessings be upon him conquer pagans macca paran it anticent macca with 10 thousand saints believers Muslim Allah akbar Allah akbar Allah akbar 🤲🕋🕯️❤️
When the pastor stated Muslims try to use the Bible to try prove Koran.... YET.... Christians use the jewish Bible to try to prove Jesus is God.. I mean every single thing he used can easily be used against him
Consider how Jesus used to pray. He took water washed his hands and feet and put his face to the ground. Who do that nowadays. Christians? No Jews? No Muslims? Yes Read the Bible (old and new testament) you will find out that all the prophets prayed like that. So who really follow the prophets? The answer is clear.
Jesus never did any such thing, fool. That is why you can't post the Scripture, cause it doesn't exist! Jesus even said that the world CANNOT receive the "HOLY SPIRIT" Jesus even said that He would live INSIDE of the Christians (true Christians), and would be with the saints from generation to generation! You are truly a fool to think this could possibly be a human prophet! smh
I have researched all 3 Abrahamic Religions and found Islam to be the True Religion of God. As for Judaism it is all about the Chosen People and is almost racist as you cannot be a Jew unless you are descended from one of the Twelve Children of Israel. Judaism fails to satisfy the essential criteria of a religion by requiring external obedience to moral laws, having a secular focus, and lacking a concern for immortality. Furthermore Judaism also lacks a belief in an afterlife which is actually necessary for human ethical behavior in this life. And as for Christianity it is an almost idolatrous religion as they lack the principle of the One, True God with no partners. Christians had to follow One God, but they have made God multiple, not singular. And not to mention many of the internal consistencies and errors contained within the Bible. Many Christians try to combat this problem by selectively interpreting each verse according to the context of the verse, but critics argue that the selective invocation of portions of the Old Testament is hypocritical, particularly when those portions endorse hostility towards women and homosexuals, when other portions are considered obsolete. There are also hundreds of versions of the Bible, whereas only one version of the Quran. This is the reason why I chose to reject Christianity. And the reason why I chose Islam is because in the Old Testament it is mentioned: "God said to Moses, on whom be peace: “I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.” (The Holy Bible, New International Version, Deuteronomy chapter 18, verse 18). And also it says in John Chapter 16 Verses 12-13 Jesus says: "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come." So both Moses and Jesus (peace be upon them both) have testified to the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW. The prophet described in the above verse must have the following three characteristics: 1. He will be like Moses (Muhammad was exactly like Moses in that he was a Warrior, a Husband, Messenger of God, Leader of the Community and many other similarities) 2. He will come from the brothers of the Israelites, i.e. the Ishmaelites(Muhammad SAW was an Arab). 3. God will put His words in the mouth of that prophet and he will declare what God commanded him.
Ishmael's mother was an Egyptian as was his wife. read Genesis 21:21 Ishmael was 3/4 Egyptian(mother and wife) 1/4 Hebrew (Father, Abraham). Were the Ancient Egyptians - Arabs?
crucifiction attempt on Jesus to remove laws will make his ppl lose blessing in mathew 21 :43 & jeremia 31 :36. pauls in acts 9:3 saw devil of luke 10 :18 went to Arabia, is lawless false prophet in mathew 24 :11 thought he's who'll correct him, comforter in John 1 :21 & 16:8, Prophet lawgiver like Musa, is Muhammad peace and blessings on him! Jesus said God prefers Mercy not sacrifice acc. to mathew 9 & 12, this is also in isiah 1 & hoesa 6 to be sincere in repentance and do good deeds, even in ot it says the pagans used to take their offspring and sacrifice, killing an innocent is more unjust too... thats also not Mercy or forgiveness. Jesus is only sent to his tribe, after mark 16 : 8 Jesus's 2nd appearance saying he's sent for the world is an admitted fabrication. isaiah 49 says Jesus will leave his tribe and return following the light of nations of isaiah 42, a new covenent, from the Arab Prophet from mt selah Medina, this is clearly Islam. Abraham wasn't from juda, juda came like 2 centuries later, Ibrahim and Ismael were Muslims who built the Kaba, even Jacob imitates the hajj in genesis 28!
WHERE IN THE BIBLE DOES LORD JESUS SAYS NOT TO WORSHIP HIM? TO ALL MUSLIMS, PLS TELL ME 1 REFERENCE IN THE BIBLE WHERE THE LORD JESUS FORBIDS US FROM WORSHIPPING HIM?
It is wonderful to see the faith that Zakir Hussain has in Bible prophecy about the LORD raising up a prophet like unto Moses. So, rather than argue amongst ourselves about what the Bible means here, let's allow the Bible to interpret itself: "...repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things, about which God spoke by the mouths of His holy prophets from ancient times. Moses said, ‘The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your countrymen; to Him you shall listen regarding everything He says to you." Acts 3:19-22
God is still kind to Christians but refers to them as " those who have gone astray" Pray for them they come back to the right path, accept there is only one God and Jesus was a prophet.
Deuteronomy 34 9. Now Joshua the son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; and the sons of Israel listened to him and did as the LORD had commanded Moses. 10. SINCE THAT TIME NO PROPHET HAS RISEN IN ISRAEL LIKE MOSES, WHOM THE LORD KNEW FACE TO FACE. The verse confirmed that NO PROPHET WILL RISE IN ISRAEL LIKE MOSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Quran confirmed that Prophet Muhammad was from the descendents of Yaqub - 12:06; 29:27
Saleh Bukhari That's funny. I thought Muslims are so proud that Mohammed is a descendant of Ishmael. Jacob is the descendant of Isaac. Not Ishmael. lol. And the rest doesn't mean there won't ever rise a prophet like Moses. Well in fact if you even pay attention to proper w grammar. It means that FROM THAT TIME there hasn't been a prophet in Israel like Moses. And that is true. There wasn't from that time and before. But it doesn't mean there won't in the future. It happened with Jesus. And if it was even Mohammed. When did Mohammed even met God face to face or even spoke to God directly? Not one time and you Muslims confirm that yourselves. But Jesus not only does he know God face to face. He is the very face of God.

@Lance Gin and as I said before, the verse didn't said about John the Baptist being the greatest prophet and last prophet. To be clear, here the verse: Luke 7:28 English Standard Version (ESV) 28 I tell you, among those born of women none is greater than John. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.” None in the scriptures said prophet only came from Jews. And Ishmael was the son of Abraham. The God of Abraham is the God of Ishmael and the God of the whole world.
@Lance Gin so a prophet of God can't enter God's kingdom? Isn't that sound like God being mean to him? God appointed him as His prophet, he done what God commanded him to do, and then God discarded him aside...and the best part is, you are okay with this...guess Jesus in the Christianity not as love as you keep saying all the time, huh? Btw, where in the bible said that John the Baptist was the last prophet?
@Lance Gin either you misunderstood or you said that on purpose knowingly the truth. Allah is the God worthy of worship. In the Quran repeatedly said Satan is accursed and enemy to mankind. Satan would not curse himself. And Quran 20:14 just strengthen the proof that Allah indeed the only God worthy of worship.
@Lance Gin Jesus Christ peace be upon him said in the bible that he was a prophet and was sent by God. If Jesus is God, so God sent Himself? What kind of logic is that?
Jesus never claimed divinity. Jesus never claimed that he is God or even the son of God. Jesus preached the same message that all previous prophets preached; i.e. to worship God alone.
Speaking as a Muslim ! I think each peoples representing their faith should concentrate on how to be a good Jew, Christian or Muslim Let people follow their faith , in Islam we cannot judge . Yes have a debate , discussion but our starting point shouldn’t be “ you are wrong “ .... the world is filled with “ you are wrongs” and it has led to wars , genocide etc Learn ur common ground and show love and understanding.
Jesus also said, " Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." (John 5:39) My dear muslims reject these vanities and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ the saviour of the world. John the baptist the last prophet before Jesus came said, " Behold the Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world". Jesus again said on the night he was betrayed, "And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins" (Matthew 26:28)
John 5, is Jesus talking to Jews. He's referring to old testament. 30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. 31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. 32 There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.
+grahame belton My verse completes the verse you qouted. You're trying to use the verse to your own benefit, but Jesus was saying he can't do anything alone.
MustBe TheMost No, "The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth" In other words it is one of "order" and not of power. Just read his words for goodness sake. What does he actually say that he does? "For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will." In other words he raises the dead. What else does he say?: "For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son". So the Father has committed all judgment unto the Son. And what is our duty?: " That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.". In other words everyone must honour the Son in the same way that the honour the Father. Now let me ask you a question my friend. Do YOU give the same honour as you presume to give the Father? I am not twisting scripture I am pointing out the bits you have missed out. It is YOU who must read on not me. I'll show you something else that Jesus said, "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die." (John 11:25) And I will ask you the same question that Jesus asked Martha, "Believeth thou this"? Why is that those who think that they are honouring Jesus always end up taking away from that glory that is due to him and then accuse those who believe on him of heresy?
+grahame belton I do believe in him. He was indeed the Messiah. The contention still remains though, Jesus was making correlations between his works and God. But when it came to his nature, he seems to allude that he is distinct from the Father.
Look further at deuteronomy 18:21-22 it gives us the litmus test to see how to tell a true prophet from a false one 21"'You may be asking yourselves, "How can we tell if a prophet's message really comes from the LORD?" 22''If the prophet speaks in the LORD’s name but his prediction does not happen or come true, you will know that the LORD did not give that message. That prophet has spoken without my authority and need not be feared'' We know that prophet muhammad (SAW) predictions have come true so far. So is there really anything to argue about now? Peace ❤
John 5 45 "But do not think I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on whom your hopes are set. 46 If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. 47 But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?"So show us where in the Quran Muhammed could say this about himself
If all prophets were to be israelites which christians and jews claim, the why did Moses (peace be upon him) say in the bible, 'from amongst their brethren.' This would be a redundant verse.
Christians have a problem. If they say that the Prophet that is prophesied in Deuteronomy is Jesus, then he is like Moses and not divine. They cannot have it both ways.
You inserted the word "never" into deutoronomy 18:18. It says there 'has not', nothing about there "will not or never will be". You guys honestly make it so easy to refute your arguments when this is the best you can come up with.
I would ask the pastor exactly the same question he asked: "Who would have seen Jesus in the prophets before his birth?" Or, how many so-called messianic verses would have been recognized as such before the fact not after?
Romans 10 “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved

So when God said " a prophet like Moses", what were the people expecting? Of course they were expecting that a prophet like Moses should be like a king, he should bring a new law as mentioned in the bible, and the prophet should have a great impact on his followers, he should have a huge number of followers. No body were expecting that this prophet like Moses will be the son of God who will have only 12 followers and at the end he will be killed for the sins of humans😂. When God said a prophet like Moses, he meant a prophet who will be like a king, who will have hundreds of thousands of followers in his life time and etc.
Certainly the Quran does not 'undermine' Jesus aa He is mentioned in the Quran at least 187 times, either directly or indirectly, making him the most mentioned person in the Quran.

In Deuteronomy 34:10 it says.... "And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses " Notice it does not say there will never be a prophet like unto Moses. It just says there rose not up a prophet like unto Moses, whom God spoke face to face. Prophet Muhammad did not speak to God face to face.

*BOTH MOSES AND JESUS {FAILED} IN THEIR MISSION/TASK!* Moses' whole purpose of the Exodus was to lead the Israelites to the Land Promised (Israel). He fell short of it. He failed in his task ... because of the PEOPLE! It was Joshua who fulfilled Moses' duty. Likewise, Jesus also FAILED in His mission/task, like Moses, because of the PEOPLE! (Isaiah 49v4-5)

*BOTH MOSES AND JESUS WENT TO ISRAEL {{TWICE}}!!* The first time Moses went to Israel, they rejected him.
"You will never see My face again, UNTIL you repent as a nation unto Me" - Jesus (baruch haba b'shem adonia)

THE PROPHET LIKE MOSES IS {NOT} ELIJAH! (unlearned people are dead wrong!)

I will assume that the question is genuine. There are two key additional likenesses which Mohammad never even came close to but Jesus the Son of God did. Namely
1. Spoke to God face to face
2. Did Miraculous signs and wonders in Egypt and outside of Egypt.

God is different from anything the human mind can think of or imagine, so the mind will become confused if it tries to picture God.

He was a prophet and the embodiment and living fulfillment of prophecy. He prophesied this age and the future. You havent been told the truth.

Deuteronomy 18:18 wan NOT muhammad who was said to be a descendant of Ishmael!
Him you shall hear in all things whatever He says to you"
Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of prophesy in Deut 18:18 "the Prophet like Moses"!
Jesus said in John 16:14:
"He (The Holy Spirit or the Spirit of Truth) will Glorify Me and He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you".
+World Peace the holy spirit

Most pathetic argument from the Christian panel. Actually never made an argument.
Deuteronomy 18 vague? Vague? It's literally a prophecy, describing a prophet to come, and the theme pops up over and over!
Moses and Mohammad have over 100 commonalities!!
Both orphans, both had an exodus, both freed slaves, both struggled against an opposing ruler, who both grew up together! Both had children, both had more than 1 wife. They both brought a new religion, new political systems, new laws and a new book. They both had thousands of followers, they both died naturally!
Must I even keep going?
they never brought new religion...
Yet Mohammad never even proved himself by quoting Moses, or any other scriptures of the old testament. tsk tsk, suckers!

It's not about copying. It's about quoting previous scriptures to present your case, showing the fulfilment of those previous passages. All the Prophets and Apostles did that. Why didnt Mohammad refer to Deuteronomy18 and John14 to prove himself? lol
oh suddenly Christians say Jesus is a prophet too. how can God be a prophet
Jesus is the son of God
The bible says that Jesus is refereed to the Son and not the Father.
I advice you to study before you make your self ridiculous on youtube
wonder lust
Jesus was the begotten son of God.
Luke 9:35
The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him. Deuteronomy 15:18
Notice the similarity? You must "listen to him"
Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites listened to him and did what the LORD had commanded Moses. Deuteronomy 34:9
Did Jesus also performed similar miracles when laying his hands on people? Yes He did in Matthew 8:3 where Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.
Muhammad laid his hands upon no one and performed no miracles.
And HE has sent down the Torah (Law of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guidance to the people; and HE has sent down the Discrimination (judgement between right and wrong) Surah 3:3-4
So what books were considered to be a 'guidance' to the people according to the quraan? It is the Torah and the Bible!
The 'brothers' that God has chosen to raise up a prophet like Moses will come from the Tribe of Jacob.
Isaiah 41:9 I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, 'You are my servant'; I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
Isaiah 41:8
"But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend.
"Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali ,Gad, Asher, Issachar,
Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjamin."
Is Ishmael included there?
The quraan says "people of the book you will attain nothing until you read the Torah and the Gospel."
Muhammad admittedly received a message from Satan and delivered it to the people…as if it were from God.

It is so sad to see what appears to be them seeing the truth and yet trying to refute it. It is an arrogance and fear of admitting they were wrong....instead of embracing the good.....the evidence is clear! So there has [now] come to you a clear evidence from your Lord and a guidance and mercy. Then who is more unjust than one who denies the verses of Allah and turns away from them? We will recompense those who turn away from Our verses with the worst of punishment for their having turned away."

Deuteronomy, Chapter 18:
“I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.” (Deuteronomy 18:18-19)
Here Moses is addressing the Children of Israel. He quotes Jehovah as telling him of the coming of a Prophet.
The marks for recognizing the coming prophet would be as follows:
Prophet Muhammad’s Mission
Compare the above with the mission of Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Like Moses, he had a father and mother; he married and led a family life; his mission was long like that of Moses; he died a natural death; and he brought a Law (Shari`ah) for the establishment of a social system, like Moses.
It is also worth emphasizing that at the end of the Book of Deuteronomy, the following is clearly stated:
“And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, in all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land, and in all that mighty hand…” (Deuteronomy 34:10-12)
This makes it clear that there never was a prophet like Moses in the whole of Israel after Moses, according to the Bible.
Thus, we can clearly see that between the two, it was Muhammad from the brethren of the Children of Israel, who could be called, “a Prophet like Moses”.
And Allah knows best.
Mohammad was not a prophet like Moses. Even the quor'an states that. See Surah Al Qasas 28 : 48.
Zakir Husain, is a pure genius. May Allah (SWT) have mercy upon him.
+Abu Tawheed AlBroken Cross
Are you sure?
Allah is not a father to anyone, more so to Jesus!
abdul khali You forgot that Father means Cherisher, Allah is the cherisher of all ther world, Allah is YHWH
Abu Tawheed AlBroken Cross Whatever "FATHER" means, the Father whom Jesus prayed for the Helper, is NOT ALLAH!
The Father (God) Himself announces AND CONFIRMED to them from HEAVEN when it was OPENED and says: "THIS IS MY BELOVED SON IN WHOM I AM WELL-PLEASED" (Matthew 3:17)
He is the one True and Only God, He is in heaven!
So, Jesus is the allah who sent the "helper" but islam says Jesus is just a prophet which is FALSE! wrong!
In John 15:26, Jesus told His Disciples: "But when the "Helper" comes WHOM I SHALL SEND TO YOU FROM THE FATHER,, the Spirit of Truth who proceeds from the FATHER, He will testify of Me"
REFRAIN FROM CLAIMING, THE HELPER MENTIONED IN JOHN 14:15-16 IS MUHAMMAD! It will go against your belief!!!
abdul khali The Father is Allah. but the gospel was corrupted by the church, Christianity is a false belief taken from Kreshna and Methra.
No wonder John has lots of ridiculous lies eg John 3:16
Abu Tawheed AlBroken Cross
If the Gospel was corrupted, then, allah is a LIAR and confirmed he is a FALSE god.
Allah (of the quran) affirmed that the Gospel can not be corrupted and no one can alter the words of allah (God). It was written in the quran! Here you are claiming that the Gospel was corrupted
So, you are saying that allah is a liar and the quran itself is full of lies!
FreakishlyTrue
That's because Jesus has many titles.
FreakishlyTrue
By the words of Jesus is that all of scripture points towards Jesus.
FreakishlyTrue
To believe God was manifested as a man is far from being blasphemous. it is just taking scripture just as it is.

Deuteronomy, convincing as it is, is not the only proof from the old testament or the new testament. The interesting thing is the Pastor could not find a response so instead of re-visiting what he believes he continues with a faith he himself now doubts.

According to all that thou desiredst of the Lord thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.
And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him."
Deuteronomy 17:14-15 "When thou art come unto the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me; Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the Lord thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother."
"thy brethren" is used for both the coming prophet and the first king of Israel, "thy brethren" and "brother" is referring to the Israelites themselves, as a people, the first king of Israel, Saul, was from among "thy brethren" and "brother", an Israelite.

Islam is the truth!
Lots of prophets God used to warn Israelites after Moses until AD 70 that Jews were destroyed by the Roman .

And the reason why I chose Islam is because in the Old Testament it is mentioned: "God said to Moses, on whom be peace:
“I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.” (The Holy Bible, New International Version, Deuteronomy chapter 18, verse 18).
And also it says in John Chapter 16 Verses 12-13 Jesus says:
"I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come."
So both Moses and Jesus (peace be upon them both) have testified to the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW.
The prophet described in the above verse must have the following three characteristics:
1. He will be like Moses (Muhammad was exactly like Moses in that he was a Warrior, a Husband, Messenger of God, Leader of the Community and many other similarities)
2. He will come from the brothers of the Israelites, i.e. the Ishmaelites(Muhammad SAW was an Arab).
3. God will put His words in the mouth of that prophet and he will declare what God commanded him.
Ishmael's mother was an Egyptian as was his wife. read Genesis 21:21
Ishmael was 3/4 Egyptian(mother and wife) 1/4 Hebrew (Father, Abraham).
Were the Ancient Egyptians - Arabs?
That recitation at the end though man that was beautiful
crucifiction attempt on Jesus to remove laws will make his ppl lose blessing in mathew 21 :43 & jeremia 31 :36. pauls in acts 9:3 saw devil of luke 10 :18 went to Arabia, is lawless false prophet in mathew 24 :11 thought he's who'll correct him, comforter in John 1 :21 & 16:8, Prophet lawgiver like Musa, is Muhammad peace and blessings on him!
Reality = Check Mate!
So, rather than argue amongst ourselves about what the Bible means here, let's allow the Bible to interpret itself:
"...repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things, about which God spoke by the mouths of His holy prophets from ancient times. Moses said, ‘The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your countrymen; to Him you shall listen regarding everything He says to you." Acts 3:19-22
God is still kind to Christians but refers to them as " those who have gone astray"
Pray for them they come back to the right path, accept there is only one God and Jesus was a prophet.
Deuteronomy 34
Well in fact if you even pay attention to proper w
grammar.
The quor'an also confirms that Mohammad was *not* a prophet like Moses. See Surah Al Qasas 28 : 48.

@Lance Gin the verse didn't said John the Baptist is the greatest prophet nor the last prophet. Don't lie.
@Lance Gin and as I said before, the verse didn't said about John the Baptist being the greatest prophet and last prophet. To be clear, here the verse:
Luke 7:28 English Standard Version (ESV)
28 I tell you, among those born of women none is greater than John. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”
None in the scriptures said prophet only came from Jews. And Ishmael was the son of Abraham. The God of Abraham is the God of Ishmael and the God of the whole world.
@Lance Gin so a prophet of God can't enter God's kingdom? Isn't that sound like God being mean to him? Zakir is a heavyweight when it comes to these topics.
Jesus also said, " Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." (John 5:39)
My dear muslims reject these vanities and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ the saviour of the world.
MustBe TheMost
And your point is?
Look further at deuteronomy 18:21-22 it gives us the litmus test to see how to tell a true prophet from a false one
21"'You may be asking yourselves, "How can we tell if a prophet's message really comes from the LORD?"
22''If the prophet speaks in the LORD’s name but his prediction does not happen or come true, you will know that the LORD did not give that message. That prophet has spoken without my authority and need not be feared''
We know that prophet muhammad (SAW) predictions have come true so far. So is there really anything to argue about now?

Your accuser is Moses, on whom your hopes are set. 46 If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. 47 But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?"So show us where in the Quran Muhammed could say this about himself

Read commentators on it. The Jewish commentators have admitted that there never will raise a prophet like Moses in Israel ever.
I would ask the pastor exactly the same question he asked: "Who would have seen Jesus in the prophets before his birth?" Or, how many so-called messianic verses would have been recognized as such before the fact not after?

“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
MashaALLAH Ya Akhy. Great job! The funniest thing that i have noticed in the years of Dawa'a that ALLAH has guided me to give and watching umpteen videos from the likes of Ahmed Deedat (Raheem ALLAH) and Dr. Zakir and now this Brother, is these christians REALLY DON'T KNOW THEIR OWN SCRIPTURES. I'm sure you all saw the evidence here on this video??? I'm thinking, "Hehehe, you're a pastor but cannot quote from Deuteronomy even after the Brother recited the verse a few times"
Somone like Moses is prophet muhammad peace and blessings be upon him they were both prophet become at age 40 and married and had children and jesus was single and 33 year old
The amazing thing is the Quran speaks about Moses way more than any other Prophet. It has one chapter (Taha) exclusively about Moses.
Salam, it's funny at the end, I think most people knew where the correct station are, but refused to go there out of jealousy and arrogance
Might be a ridiculous question, but why the voices of all pastors are so similar?😕
Psalm 147:19-20
19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord.

DEUTERONOMY 18
*18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.*
* *AMONG THEIR* (israelties) *BRETHREN* mean descendant of ishmael, not from Israel.
* *LIKE UNTO THEE* (Moses), who is the prophet like moses more than Mohammed ???
- Moses & Mohammed Born from normal Father and Mother. Jesus father is God According to Christian, *So Jesus not like Moses*
- Moses & Mohammed Born as a normal human. Jesus born through miracles, *So Jesus not like Moses*
- Moses & Mohammed are Prophet, but Jesus are God, *So Jesus not like Moses*
- Moses & Mohammed marry, Jesus not, *So Jesus not like Moses*
- Moses & Mohammed rejected by people, fighting, migrating at the end the people accept them, Jesus even all 12 disciples runaway while he was crucified. *So Jesus not like Moses*
- Mohammed & Moses bring new law, Jesus only fulfill the law of torah. *So Jesus not like Moses*
- Moses & Mohammed normally death, Jesus got crucified. *So Jesus not like Moses*
- Moses & Mohammed buried in earth, Kesus now in heaven. *So Jesus not like Moses*
* *I PUT MY WORD INTO HIS MOUTH* Mohammed was illiterate (Isaiah 29:12), the revelation Quran is something strange, never mohammed said it before, God PUT INTO HIS MOUTH,
* *HE SHALL SPEAK UNTO THEM, THAT I SHALL COMMAND HIM*
Anytime after Mohammed got revelation, he spread all the message to the people, some people memorize & put into writing, like fragment Suraa ThaHa in Birmingham. And if any LAW/COMMAND from the revelation Mohammed made it happened to the people immediately, e.g. Prohibition of drinking, wearing hijab, changing direction of pray, etc ..
*19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.*
* *HE SHALL SPEAK IN MY NAME*
"Bismillahirrahmanirrahim" in every Suraa of Quran, means : "IN THE NAME OF ALLAH (God) ..." while christian speaks IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
* *I WILL REQUIRE IT OF HIM !!!*
God himself threatening u people if not follow that prophet.
* HE SHALL SPEAK IN MY NAME it ain't Allah
@@theword7571 thats your opinion as follower of false apostle paul that Allah is not the God of jesus. you cant ignore all the facts that were mentioned and push your biased opinion that are based on deep seated hate and not truth
Alhamdulillah for the straight part
Deuteronomy 18-20 say he “the prophet that is like Moses” shall die and Jesus never died
One like unto Moses IS JESUS!!!
....... a prophet from the midst of thee , of thy brethren, like unto me. Is say the prophet is from the same people as moses.
gavin Reid Since then no prophet has risen in Israel like moses....Deuteronomy 34.1o
Does anyone know of a lecture where a da'i discuses the origin of each of the gospels? Ie where it was written like Rome etc
Please reply with a link if you know....
The Messiah will be a Prophet and an Israelite. Simple.
the whole world goes by this calender.Jesus lived for 33 years.
No. Most of the world does not go by said calendar. Do some research.
+Aletheia Humas Eleutheroo I did do my research.it did say most of the world did.what country are you from.do you have a bathroom in your house yet or do you still live in the woods
jesus is lord
I live in America. Maybe you should check out the Islamic calendar (year 1437), used by over 1.6 billion people, the Chinese calendar (year 4713 or 4653) used by over a billion people, the Bengali calendar (year 1423), used by hundreds of millions of people, the Buddhist calendar (year 2560), used by hundreds of millions of people, the Hindu calendars (years 2072/2073, 1938/1939, and 5117/5118) collectively used by hundreds of millions of people, the Iranian calendar (year 1394) used by ~80 million, the Korean calendar (year 4349), used by ~50 million people, or one of a dozen others used by millions of people. The Gregorian is the most widespread single calendar, but collectively the other calendars are used by roughly as many people, if not more. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gregorian_calendar See the right column
Did Moses have a bathroom in his house? John the Baptist lived in the wilderness. Why do you hate poor people and foreigners?
Fun fact deutronomy 18:18 the word brethren has now been changed to israelite.
Truth Hitman Islamic scriptures deny your statement
obvious the truth is and will always prevail. no pastor alive or ever lived can ever contradict the QURAN.
