The moment a springlock becomes too loose, it springs back to it's original position, and the force of it causes every other one to break free, and they all INSTANTLY cause every part of your body to become impaled, and the animatronic parts begin to slowly crush you in a long and painful death...
Fun fact: His neck was stretched upwards, his vocal cords was torn apart to the point where he could only gasp for air, which is why he couldn’t scream, as you saw he also had eyes brutally shoved in his skull to replace his, while his bones and vital organs were getting crushed into paste. And not only that, he got to sit there for 5 minutes enduring all of that before he died. And came back.
This has made me realise just how horrifying the deaths in the FNAF franchise actually are. This guy got crushed by metal skeleton. Considering that the spring suits are supposed to be fully functional animatronics, you can imagine all the parts that were forcibly placed back into there original positions. Heck, William should actually be dead (But this is FNAF and Afton just likes cheating death) from all the metal that were crammed into his vitals. Allow me to illustrate... His bones are shattered into pieces, fragments fell out of the suit and or just hung there, dangling on whatever ligament or flesh remained on them. The spinal cord snapped with a horrid crunch, pulled apart and ground into a disgusting mush. His brain was pulverised by the large eye mechanism, shattering his skull and popping his eyes out and replacing them with cold, metal balls that was jammed into his face. His jaw hung limp, held on to the fractured remains of his skull, loosely holding his teeth as they were torn out by metal rods. His organs punctured, bursting from in between the animatronic's shell, the endoskeleton and his own body with his intestines smooshed into a pulp that dripped out from the seams of the suit. He wished he could release his pain, he tried screaming to the heavens but only the wet, disgusting wails of a mangled throat came out of what was once his mouth. His skin instantly torn apart and shredded, leaving his exposed body to the stinging pain of the air as his muscles twisted and torn into strings. The pressure from his displaced mass, punctured holes of any size for his bodily fluids to flood out of, his blood pouring out onto the ground, convulsing and crippled. Nothing was left that could be considered a human however the wrathful mind of a psychopath somehow endured. EDIT: I'm getting comments about lore/theories that I'm already aware of and don't care about nor want to hear. EDIT 4: Wow this blew up.. EDIT 5: Thats right, I deleted the 2nd and 3rd edits. You know what terrifies me the most about this rendition of his death? (besides the blood and the INTENSE gore) is the fact that he didn't have time to scream in agony because the pain and shock just kills him instantly.

The fact is that the well-known audio of William Afton suffering ignores several factors, such as the slowness for the springs to be activated, which probably does not happen so slowly. And also Wiliam's vocal chords were also cut, he wouldn't have been able to even moan in pain properly.

If you pay close Attention at Springtrap’s Design after his “Death” you’ll notice he’s actually missing a Finger, the same finger he popped to the Souls before the malfunction.
i don’t think you would be able to be in pain, concluding you would go in immediate shock and be paralyzed, instant death when the lock hits the brain or the heart
As soon as the spine got crushed it would be game over. It would only be painful for 1-3 second after those you would be in shock but a couple seconds later dead
The fact that he had absolutely NO time to react to what just happened is just amazing in theory he would still be alive for ATLEAST 5 minutes just because his brain is still somewhat still there still processing what the heck just hit him

I love how this one was an almost instantaneous death, in contrast to the audio-only version where the purple guy was still able to scream for a minute or so.
I love this guys creativity of how violent the springlock could be this would make the most sense because I always thought that the spring locks would just snap in place very fast and just put in a good amount of pressure to kill someone immediately
The source audio that got cut off by the blood spatters is worse; there you could actually hear purple guy screaming in agony and choking on his own blood as the springlocks gradually tear him apart.
No wonder his hatred for everyone and everything remained until the very end of his existence. The springlock failure is really the only reason that William kept on inflicting pain and suffering on others.
It’s impressive how fast it was. The time that isn’t there for you to react, and all you feel is pain as your lungs get crushed so you can’t even scream, a painful yet near instant death
This seems like a more accurate death than in the springlock failure death. Why? It looks like the springlocks engage around the chest, back and neck. Already we can see how this death would be way quicker than it's portrayed as. As soon as the springlock engages in the neck or chest, it's time for the funeral. Its pretty basic biology that a hard blow to the neck or a stab in the chest is enough to kill a human, but more importantly, Afton would've already gone into shock because of the pain if he wasn't killed by the neck springlock. You know the femur breaker? Yeah, imagine that but in ALL of the back muscles. You'd go into shock real fast. In the actual death, it's excruciatingly long, which while brutal and satisfying, isn't exactly accurate to how you'd actually die if springlocks in an actual suit like this failed, which was already explained in huge detail in the above wall of text. Basically, it'd be quick but surprisingly agonizing for 2 or 3 seconds, and then death would follow.
Exactly, and factoring in the fact that the suit most likely has an endoskeleton head that has now snapped into place, it would be the equivalent of being shot in the head in real life.

I think the suit in lore takes into account the fact that the springlocks are old and rusted so they would go off at random, the death would be much slower if the first springlocks would hit non-vital areas first.
Most of these springtrap videos, William Afton screamed even though his vocal cords get springlocked too, but this video actually shows that he couldn't scream right when it happened. Great job on making this!
He gets into this big spring bonnie suit and then he yells he puffs he throws his hands everywhere *his eyes pop out* then he turns to everybody and says : *watch out everybody the springlocks are a bit old*
this is most accurate its fast and the real ones are just to slow and the spring locks activate slowly and 1 at a time but this one as soon as the water hits and the blood hits it activates so fast you can barely see it keep up the great work!
At least in this one he died quickly, in the other animations it takes 30 to 50 seconds for the poor bastard to die. But if I remember correctly in the lore the suit is old and rusted so maybe the first few springlocks would go off at random and hit non-vital areas first before smashing his chest/face. They would also go off much slower because of the rust temporarily blocking them.
I love this interpretation so much! Most have him screaming and wailing in pain after the locks release but his lungs and vocal cords got crushed so it wouldn't makes sense. The crunch and slam and lack of human mobility really seems accurate and I think that's what sets it apart from other afton spring lock failures
This would be a regular spring lock death if it was some random employee. This is afton, difference you may ask? Golden freddys spirt was keeping afton alive truly making him suffer.
I've always had a headcanon that suggests that the areas where there are no vital organs, like the arms and legs, were hit first, giving William the time to scream. They go off one at a time due to rust temporarily stopping them because of their age, which makes the pain longer. After those are done, it was just William's luck that the torso was set off next (which I don't think means instant death in most cases). If we use the original fanmade audio as reference, I think this would be around the time William started coughing or stopped screaming entirely. I put it there because like you said, his lungs would be absolutely atomized by then. His spine splits with a horrific snap before his organs are targeted. It would likely slowly go up from the pelvis and nether regions, then to the intestines and stomach, until finally hitting his chest where his lungs reside. It was then where he would finally be put out of his misery (albeit slowly) as giant metal spheres are violently pushed into his eye sockets, pushing William's human eyes out and utterly destroying his skull. The endoskeleton head would slowly be put into place, further breaking his skull until finally, FINALLY the suffering is over as the things that make the robot work are shoved into place, piercing vital spots in his brain, killing him.
Did anyone notice that a huge metal fork came out of his chest like he was being impaled? This shows how very bad springlock failures that infact, it even can impale a person but not just by the heart. Even other organs which would have his organs torn apart and misplaced by metal sharp spikes being shoved into his flesh while he bleeds out. Yet, it looks like an instant death William actually was still alive to experience the other springlocks going off and being shoved into his body. Because in the novels, William describes it as a very slow miserable death meaning William was still alive in this video while feeling all of the other metal rods and sharp metal pieces be forced into him. This makes the situation 10x worse because the victim is still alive to feel the other metal parts going into him feeling like hell to the victim. Which is why William was portrayed as a well springlock victim even in the books.
Thing is, This is how the death would be. But not as quick. You would try to scream, But your vocal cords will have been severed. You would make no noise. Only the sound of you being crushed, Bleeding out, And choking on your own blood.
While this is an incredibly realistic and horrifying rendition of his death, what I find even worse is that canonically golden Freddy keeps him alive long enough to feel it all slowly. It’s an old suit, likely the locks wouldn’t go off all at once, the idea of feeling individual parts get mutilated like that…
No no one kept him alive spring blockings are just naturally slow and horrible In the books he William himself literally describes it as your vocal cords being split in those skeleton breaking your bones and you drowning in your own blood. That's my favorite detail there it only takes a teaspoon of liquid to drown. He most likely drowned before the blood lost got to him
William Afton Yea but when the springlocks goes out of the suit, the metal / animatronic parts (aka endoskeleton parts) all goes inside of you in 1 second. Not 1 part goes in you then 3 seconds later another parts.
I don't think William Afton's eyes would explode, because... Springtrap has human eyes, not animatronic eyes, because otherwise... Why would they put veins and arteries in Spring Lock's eyes to make them look so realistic ones that are confused with those of a human?
Also the fact that he doesn’t continually scream, the books say that you will be unable to scream due to your neck and vocal cords being severed (which makes sense).
This is actually more realistic than the screaming Afton out of pain version... Such enormous injuries to the human body are instant death. Afton's body was literally crushed by metal endoskeleton, it's like standing between two speeding trucks going in front of each other, do you think you would be able to live after the two trucks collided with each other? Nope, this is instant death.
This is by far, the best one I've seen. The fact that he didn't have any time to scream is genuinely terrifying but it's kinda realistic because his lungs we're destroyed.

I like how you gave an actual sense of how his body was breaking inside the suit. When you look closely at the original model, ya' just think, "Wait, where does the guy fit?" I got more of a sense of, "Ah, there's space in the suit" here. The anamatronic eyes coming down and putting out his eyes, the anamatronic mouth forcing its way in and killing him harder. Well done. Also him flipping the ghosts off was pretty funny kek.
It’s so fast because the suit is brand new. The springlocks aren’t rusty or old, they work exactly as intended, switching to animatronic mode almost instantly. It’s quick and ruthless.

This seems like a more accurate death than in the springlock failure death. Why?
It looks like the springlocks engage around the chest, back and neck. Already we can see how this death would be way quicker than it's portrayed as. As soon as the springlock engages in the neck or chest, it's time for the funeral. Its pretty basic biology that a hard blow to the neck or a stab in the chest is enough to kill a human, but more importantly, Afton would've already gone into shock because of the pain if he wasn't killed by the neck springlock. You know the femur breaker? Yeah, imagine that but in ALL of the back muscles. You'd go into shock real fast.
In the actual death, it's excruciatingly long, which while brutal and satisfying, isn't exactly accurate to how you'd actually die if springlocks in an actual suit like this failed, which was already explained in huge detail in the above wall of text. Basically, it'd be quick but surprisingly agonizing for 2 or 3 seconds, and then death would follow.
Exactly, and factoring in the fact that the suit most likely has an endoskeleton head that has now snapped into place, it would be the equivalent of being shot in the head in real life.

I love this interpretation so much! Most have him screaming and wailing in pain after the locks release but his lungs and vocal cords got crushed so it wouldn't makes sense. The crunch and slam and lack of human mobility really seems accurate and I think that's what sets it apart from other afton spring lock failures

I've always had a headcanon that suggests that the areas where there are no vital organs, like the arms and legs, were hit first, giving William the time to scream. They go off one at a time due to rust temporarily stopping them because of their age, which makes the pain longer.
After those are done, it was just William's luck that the torso was set off next (which I don't think means instant death in most cases). If we use the original fanmade audio as reference, I think this would be around the time William started coughing or stopped screaming entirely. I put it there because like you said, his lungs would be absolutely atomized by then. His spine splits with a horrific snap before his organs are targeted. It would likely slowly go up from the pelvis and nether regions, then to the intestines and stomach, until finally hitting his chest where his lungs reside.
It was then where he would finally be put out of his misery (albeit slowly) as giant metal spheres are violently pushed into his eye sockets, pushing William's human eyes out and utterly destroying his skull. The endoskeleton head would slowly be put into place, further breaking his skull until finally, FINALLY the suffering is over as the things that make the robot work are shoved into place, piercing vital spots in his brain, killing him.

Did anyone notice that a huge metal fork came out of his chest like he was being impaled? This shows how very bad springlock failures that infact, it even can impale a person but not just by the heart. Even other organs which would have his organs torn apart and misplaced by metal sharp spikes being shoved into his flesh while he bleeds out. Yet, it looks like an instant death William actually was still alive to experience the other springlocks going off and being shoved into his body. Because in the novels, William describes it as a very slow miserable death meaning William was still alive in this video while feeling all of the other metal rods and sharp metal pieces be forced into him. This makes the situation 10x worse because the victim is still alive to feel the other metal parts going into him feeling like hell to the victim. Which is why William was portrayed as a well springlock victim even in the books.

While this is an incredibly realistic and horrifying rendition of his death, what I find even worse is that canonically golden Freddy keeps him alive long enough to feel it all slowly. I like how you gave an actual sense of how his body was breaking inside the suit. When you look closely at the original model, ya' just think, "Wait, where does the guy fit?" I got more of a sense of, "Ah, there's space in the suit" here. The anamatronic eyes coming down and putting out his eyes, the anamatronic mouth forcing its way in and killing him harder. Well done.
