Poor Aimee! That head dress was not having it.
Ikr!! I felt so bad for her
That headdress looked almost bigger than she is...I think it's a real tribute to her dancing ability that she's actually a fantastic dancer (See "Go For It"), but she's skilled enough to look like she has no idea what she's doing (like Ella would do).

Vince Nico Biyo Shows/Movies usually record a studio version and then have the actors lipsync it when the cameras are rolling. Mainly because the actor’s voice could become very strained from working too hard and also if they need to cut scenes together the sound will be more consistent. Both the actor’s volume while singing and the mic distance could cause some trouble.
It’s just easier and faster with playback. The playback here sounds like the same as in the episode, so I believe Tom went in and recorded it in a studio beforehand. :)
