My primary setup is a Great Basin, Rogue Bag, two Possibles Pouches, Diablo tank bag, and pannier pockets. I have been using this combo for over seven years now on the Africa Twin and a CRF 250 Rally. I also have a Coyote bag that I use on short offroad trips. This is the only gear I use, on road and off road. I have been on multiple long trips and this combination has been perfect for capacity and superior bike handling. I don't think I can ever go back to using racks and hard luggage. Giant loop offers the lightest soft luggage available on the market, and it is durable too. I will be a fan forever.

I own multiple sets and brands of soft motorcycle luggage. The Giant Loop gear is the only gear that I use. It's durable and quick to install/emove from any bike.

Giant loop is great stuff. It was the first brand of luggage I got when I started out with my crf250l. Soft luggage is the way to go!

Always good to have options. Giant Loop makes those options possible.

Great, Looking for Soft Panniers that I can put my laptop bag in for my daily commute.

Side panniers are probably best for that. Otherwise a drybag to strap on top of the bike would be great to store electronics during daily commutes.

I’m surprised nobody has made durable plastic pannier racks to save weight and cost.

We have actually tested that and there s not much saving in weight comparing the peace of mind that the mount would never break. The plastic ones never survived the impacts of a substantial crash. So we decided to use anodised alluminum instead.
Plus the plastic ones you see around, you have to leave a piece of it attached to the bike and looks super ugly. 😅

What kind of luggage would you guys recomend for a midsize cruiser saddlebags not withstanding i have no idea what sort of stuff would make the best setup on a bike that typicaly only has saddle bags not sure how to set one up for moto camping ect i dont plan on being offroad if i can help it till i can get a offroad friendly bike but i wanna go camping 😉 so what you guys think?

Generally speaking, it depends if you have pannier racks available on your bike or not. If you do, we recommend the MotoTrekk panniers. Not too big and very versatile. You could add an additional dry bag like the Tillamook to increase storage capacity.
If you don't have pannier racks on your bikes, I recommend you the siskiyou panniers, which have 70 L capacity.
At the moment they are available at 50% off in our clearance section as we are selling our older model, which differs to our newer model only by few buckles and the logo.

@GiantLoopMoto apriciate the info I'm not ready to buy my setup yet sadly since your having a sale and this would be ideal timing to prep for the season and beyond but like many I've got to play catchup after a short period of not working ill deffinatly be keeping this in mind as I fully intend to use GL brand gear on my luggage can't best the value there imo. Thanks again
