Those changing the capacitor be careful of touching live points on mother board. Residual charge (its 2.k volts) could give you a nasty spike.

Found this very useful but I am not getting capacitor and battery in Bangalore. Whether your supplier can courier if amount is sent to him or you by Google Pay....He can add courier charges...I need 6 capacitor and 3 battery...

@tapangupta the battery is 4.19v on load and capacitor is showing 22.3 nf(with capacitance meter) When on the racquet makes a hissing sound, weak spark is present when inserting a metal in the mesh. But it doesn't spark with a mosquito. What could be the problem?
When mosquito or metal touches the inner mesh and outer mesh at the same time, spark is produced

I got the same problem it is not killing mosquitos but generating spark when touched with metal

@@TapanGupta will have to check the circuit to understand that bro. My guess is that the capacitor is getting charged by a current source. If that's the case, then the problem is that you're using a larger capacitance than what is necessary. Also make sure the capacitor's voltage rating is high (2000V as mentioned in the video).
Will it work only with 223J 2K volt capacitor? Since I didn't get this configuration the shop keeper gave me another one (I don't remember the power) and I installed it. When I tested through some material it sparks but doesn't kills the mosquitoes.
Please let me know if I need to replace the capacitor with the mentioned power capacitor or will there be any other defects in it?
