Super FunnyGuy C7 = GREAT car, just not the type of car I'm in to (only 2 seats, designed to be a convertible). Camaro = If you're talking 6th gen, I'm very interested to know more about it once it actually goes on sale. 5th gen looks striking, but sucks to be in and drive IMO. Hellcat twins = Too large, they weigh too much, not enough emphasis on handling. '17 GT = Will probably never be able to afford one (my original comment was geared toward cars I could theoretically afford).
coinsagE46m3 People who say the Chargers and Challengers are too large or weigh too much are usually the people that have never been able to really, and I am REALLY, drive one. The actually handle a lot better than most people think, especially the SRT 392 and Hellcats. Sure, they don't handle as well as a car like the Corvette, but they weren't meant to. The Hellcats are meant to be large, high horsepower, MUSCLE cars like the old days. Regardless, if someone wanted a car that handled great, they would go out and buy a car built specifically for that.
Automatic. I had a thing for mustangs back in high school, I don’t know how to drive stick shifters anyways, I’d rather keep my hands steady on the wheel than hasslin with a gear shifter.
Depends. For a daily? Auto. For fun? Manual. For a true race car to set the best times? Auto. Plus the paddle shifters make the auto more engaging to drive
Being able to compare the non-Recaro GT-P with a BMW for interior finish and comfort sold me instantly. To top that off, and in spite of all the SYNC 2 complaints I've read about, the infotainment was far superior to the unintuitive mess in the BMW. Thanks for the review, you greatly helped with my decision.
***** hey Kyle, can you please add more night time in your videos to show off the ambient lighting and gauge clusters of the vehicles you review? That would put you even light years more ahead of anyone else because it is very difficult to find videos that show this. The way you captured the ambient lighting of the Mustang in this video was brilliant. Although it is not an easy task please take my request into consideration. Thanks again for all your hard work and quality videos.
Osillius *"the infotainment was far superior to the unintuitive mess in the BMW"* SYNC is great but if you think BMW's iDrive was a mess then you probably didn't even bother to try and learn how to use it.
My dream car has been the Camaro for over 6 years now, and after driving the 2016 Mustang Convertible for a whole day I could safely say my next car is gonna be the 2016 Mustang Convertible, hands down. Don't get me wrong, I still love the Camaro, but the new Mustang is VASTLY improved from its predecessors.
Great video Kyle! You did an awesome job recording the sound of this lovely V8! I really liked hearing your driving impressions too. I agree with you that the PP makes the car a little less comfortable and those Recaros are nice but not the most comfortable. For me the perfect Mustang would be a non-PP GT with the regular seats which are super comfy. Keep up the great work Kyle!
Best Mustang GT review ever. Excellent camera angles made me feel like I was in the car and great tribute to the beautiful SOUND of that exhaust! I just listen to it all day. Can't wait to get mine. Great job!
Looks like I may have to trade up from my 2012 mustang GT for this one.... They have improved virtually everything and still kept the muscle car refinements. Good stuff. Would love to see this car in a shiny mirror coating.
Matthew Moscotto The 2011-14 is slightly quicker than the 2015 in a drag race. We all have our preferences when it comes to appearance, and what a Mustang should be... but I think we can all agree that a new GT shouldn't be slower than the outgoing one.
hartsickdisciple Only an idiot would praise an inferior model in almost every respect because of 1 or 2/10ths of a second on paper. Unless you are racing everyone you drive next to or go to the track, what friggin difference does it make?
queefreak Are you saying that it's unreasonable to expect a new version of an established performance car to be at least a little bit faster? We're talking about a pony/muscle car here. This is one of the most important things about cars in this segment.
hartsickdisciple If I had to pick between 50 improvements that 2015 has over previous models and "a little bit faster", I would live with just as fast. When all these brand new Stangs are broken in a bit, the numbers will adjust. But hey, forget the drag strip for a minute and put the '14 and the '15 on a road track. That's what the '15's are designed for and would dominate unequivocally.
queefreak Actually the '15 is only marginally quicker than the '14 around most road courses. The Camaro SS w/ 1LE package still beats it. People seem to forget that the live axle and suspension in later S197 cars wasn't much of a hindrance when it comes to performance. It was more of a refinement/road manners issue.
You sir have done a mighty job at reviewing this car. I ultimately felt like I was the one viewing and driving it. I now want a mustang way more than I did before!
this is a great video review for this vehicle. You really make sure to cover all the details of the cars you review. Ill keep tuned to your channel as I like to watch your videos as always.
An Aston Martin mated with a 2012 Ford Fusion, creating a cheaper front wheel drive sedan dubbed the 2013 Fusion... That little car grew up, and spread its wheels for a Hyundai Genesis, thus creating the 2015 Ford Mustang.
Kyle, really nice work on this review. I've owned this exact car in Guard Green with the "50 year" placards and PP package since December and I've still felt compelled to watch dozens of reviews. You showed me a few thing about the car that I wasn't even aware of and that's impressive. Couldn't be happier with this car and I never expected the onslaught of compliments from people stopping in their tracks and ogling. But then, the Stainless Works catback exhaust that I installed makes it pretty hard to ignore.
Gadget Euphoria Yup the Right-Hand Drive version will be available to buy in select Ford showrooms around September/October this year I reckon. Go on the Ford UK website you can pre-order and configuer either the Eco-Boost or GT Mustang right now :D
Oh yea they are bringing it to the uk. Think we are going to have a 2litre eco boost though if im not wrong. This thing is mean. just sadly staring at my sad vauxhall insignia. Those american lines are boss
krsimpson89 got same annoying chimes in 2014 Taurus Sho that and the "light touch" lane change blinker stalk that many times as you choose to bring it to a close goes to other side and gives the impression you are wanting to change your lane assignment, other than that the SHO is outstandingly underrated and unappreciated
Outstanding video review. I enjoyed my 2005 V6 Mustang until it hit 99,999 miles, and in January went and traded her for a 2015 Eco Boost Mustang. It has been the first car in my 51 years that every time I get in, I love it more. The best car I have ever been around and every feature is more useful the more you get accustomed to it. A very unique car for our stupid PC culture. I love it! I am averaging 19 miles a gallon on 91 octane. I could care less, but it is so much fun to drive. Global Climate warming/ change is a scam and not real... don't let them BS you!
Hey Kyle, I was on the fence about getting this car and your review really helped me make my decision. I went out and bought one right after I watched your video. I love what you do for the community and you are a great asset. Keep the videos coming!
I remember watching reviews of these 2015’s ages back and being stoked the first mustang I ever rode in was a 2017 and I loved it 16 months after that now a proud owner of a 2019 GT what a big difference and what a muted exhaust this last one had, oh and fantastic review
Without a doubt this was the most erudite, comprehensive, and enjoyable reviews I've seen on RUclips or television. Well done, young sir! Today we put in an order for a Triple Yellow GT equipped almost exactly as your tester. In deference to our 67 and 68 year-old rear-ends, we passed on the Recaros. My wife's first new car was a yellow 1966 and this one is a celebration of that car only much, much better.
OurSilly Productions That's how I feel about my 1992 Mustang with its 5.0. I have it backed into a small garage, so the start up is amplified. My neighbors don't like it much.
No, I'm not. My uncle who's living in Singapore one, had just bought a Mercedes-Benz A 45 AMG, and it costs 184kUSD, Americans are lucky to have low car prices.
Had to drop a quick note to commend you for such a thorough review. I am purchasing a new one within the next few weeks and just wanted to see what others had to say about the performance pack in specific. I got plenty of crappy reviews that said all of the same poster board regurgitation that I already knew. This review shows literally almost every detail you would want to know and more. Keep up the good work. Thanks!
Peter Pan "Yeah guys I didn't buy this badass car because i'm a little girl and complain about cables that I cant see" *friends proceed to beat you up*
Waited a while for this a you didn't disappoint. Don't have us wait too long for the GT350. I can't wait to hear that Flat Plane crank. DON'T SHORT SHIFT!
Straight Edged Wiz I would normally agree with you but you cant make that claim anymore. American cars, taking the new Mustang as an example have genuinely improved in quality. I reviewed the last Mustang and when the new one comes to Europe im reviewing that next year and I bet there will be quite a difference in quality.
Straight Edged Wiz But for a price nearly any person with a job can afford, some are willing to take a slight hit in the quality category to own something so fast and as you said, striking. Come back to me when there's a European car that can match this in performance that can be so easily aspirated for and obtained by the masses.
it depends what type of car you want. if you want a track car then yes the hell cat is ur best bet. But it does cost more. if you want a nice and sporty daily driver then mustang is the way to go because it has the perfect amount of power for a daily driver, so that you still have fun driving it. 700hp is unrealistic/ uneeded for a lot of people for a Daily driver
+Gabe adorno yes I know it has different driving modes but you can buy a mustang for 28k for a good amount of hp and that is do able for most people. But the price tag for the hell cat is to much for a good amount of people. and also some people don't like how it looks. I mean I've ridin in a dad's friends hell cat and it is pretty nice. But I just have always liked mustangs. how they drive and look. So I will probably always get a mustang, but hey man hell cats are nice cars and if u like them, then good for you man. I'm not knocking the hell cat.
Test drove it yesterday and it is a powerful, powerful car, yet more quiet than one would think in the cabin. I don't need to go fast but I'd like the security of knowing that the speed of this car can get me out of tight spaces. Ford did not include the sunroof as an option and does not recommend aftermarket install because it would compromise the integrity of the vehicle.
Subscribed. A very concise, well written review. Please don't take this in any way but as praise but your parents must be proud of you. (I'm an old guy.)
I tend to lean towards German cars but there's something about a Mustang, Challenger and Camaro that really makes me want one. There's just so much performance and value to be had. To top it off these cars are relatively simply so the reliability is actually good despite people beating the shit out of them. Add in some light mods and they're even better than when they came from the factory.
I noticed that label on the speedometer "ground speed"; are you kidding me? Is that so I won't mistake it for airspeed for when the car goes airborne. Questions: How is the steering responsiveness with that electric steering? Would I, or could I, replace that electric assisted with hydraulic assisted steering? The car still seems to be excessively heavy(~3700 - 3800 lbs). How much weight can I shave off without butchering the appearance? I was looking at getting a late model low mileage 370Z, but since Ford put an independent rear end on this and upped the quality of the interior I'm really interested in getting one of these. The main drawback to me is still the weight, as I think a car like this should have a target weight in the 3200 - 3400 lb range.
Can you please tell me why this car has Michelin PSS when the factory tires are Pirelli P Zeros. I'm guessing by the time you got this press car the Pirelli's that came with the car were too worn for a accurate assessment?
Like always, what a detailed amazing review from Kyle. It really helped me with making an informed decision on purchasing a new mustang. Keep up the great work. Cheers
Ford made a decent number of 2015 mustang GT premiums with the performance package (~20K?), plus the same was available in 16 and 17. A TRULY RARE EXAMPLE IS A 15 GT PREMIUM WITH PERFORMACE PACKAGE AND 50TH ANNIVERSARY PACKAGE. Only about a thousand of these were made because dealers very rarely ordered them with both packages. I had to special order mine with all these specs as well as the ruby red tri coat paint and hands free enhanced security system. I haven't liked mustangs since the late 60's, but the 15 was a revolutionary change from the flat front end. The 18's have already cut the sharp headlight corners and making it look more like a sporty fusion. At this point, I plan to keep mine indefinitely and don't care how others perceive it in the future. It's my summer fun ride that's only driven a thousand miles per year.
The day this Mustang rolled out of the factory and onto a dealership marked the first day America offered a car I'd actually buy.
And yet America has been offering so many other better cars as of late. You're really missing out.
Sawashi32 Save for the ATS-V & CTS-V, I respectfully disagree.
Sawashi32 no shit they have idk wtf people are thinking

HardcoreHockey automatic eco boost as a good looking daily
I can drive both but I like auto more

Facts! 💯
This is one of the best looking cars i have ever seen in my life wow😢😢
I recently got a GT convertible, seriously great car. I love everything about it
you do have the option to make payments instead of buying it outright, don't u?
My mother traded in her 2006 V-6 for the new GT, god I love that car.
so 3 years later .. was there any problems and what is realistic fuel economy city driving (im from Europe ..gas cost 3 times as much)
This mustang has been growing on me. The base is $23k which is a great price.
The back is alright, but the front looks AMAZING
Ford brought the Mustang to a new level. I wonder what the new Camaro will look like.
Kingw3 Chevy really needs to step up their game with the Camaro, the newest model looks like junk next to a new Mustang or Challenger.
evilmuffen117 What do you mean outperforms?
evilmuffen117 Which Camaro? If you're talking about the ZL1 then of course, but I don't believe you if you're talking about the SS.
evilmuffen117 no
The new Camaro will either look really curvaceous like a European coupe or the new mustang or really butch like the Challenger
Now the British "car enthusiasts" can't talk any more trash. Ford has really done a great job on this car!
One day ...
Today it happend for me. Soon for you buddy.
That's great man, hope you enjoy it & thanks!
Disasterpiece5150 congrats man
Disasterpiece5150 I gotta wait 2 years til I can pull the trigger...worth the wait
Had mine for 10 months I love it there not to pricey go for it :)
While the RECARO seats are obviously firm, the standard seats are comfortable for everyday driving.
Vincent D I'd rather have the regular leather seats
Uh oh guys! It's a Mustang! Better start commenting about how much better/worse it is than the Camaro/Challenger!
kidyoureasquid The mustang is so much better/worse than the camaro/challenger.
kidyoureasquid How about someone loves them both? XDXD
Idk if I like the GT 5.0 , the Z28 , or the Hellcat better
RainGaming32 1 Did you come up with that all by yourself sherlock?
Popcorn?!
I just bought a 2015 for my 25th bday yesterday. Premium and performance package, 6-speed, living the dream 😊
This video is super helpful, thank you!
Wow this is the most comprehensive review I've ever seen! I mean...damn!
Let's be honest, mustang > camaro
I'll agree with you
+Risky in what category?
cheaper that camaro.. of course cheap for cheap
Yep
Especially when it's a GT350R

Peter Pan "Yeah guys I didn't buy this badass car because i'm a little girl and complain about cables that I cant see"
*friends proceed to beat you up*
Waited a while for this a you didn't disappoint. Don't have us wait too long for the GT350. I can't wait to hear that Flat Plane crank. DON'T SHORT SHIFT!
American cars may be striking but they are no match for European quality and engineering
Yeah European cars are of good quality but you pay for that quality at least the Americans don't rip you off
Straight Edged Wiz You clearly have never owned a BMW and the insane maintenance prices that come with them.
Straight Edged Wiz But for a price nearly any person with a job can afford, some are willing to take a slight hit in the quality category to own something so fast and as you said, striking. Come back to me when there's a European car that can match this in performance that can be so easily aspirated for and obtained by the masses.
Vnitto i have 1999 BMW 750i and to get new shock absorbers would have cost me $1000 complete rip off, still a lovely car though
One of the best modern mustang in 2015 than 2020 version
Challenger hellcat is infinitely better
it depends what type of car you want. if you want a track car then yes the hell cat is ur best bet. But it does cost more. if you want a nice and sporty daily driver then mustang is the way to go because it has the perfect amount of power for a daily driver, so that you still have fun driving it. 700hp is unrealistic/ uneeded for a lot of people for a Daily driver
That's why the hellcat has all those drive modes that limit the hp, every car reviewer that drove the car says its a perfect everyday driving car
You have a good but I'll always be a Dodge and Chevy guy
I just like their cars and trucks more
It's also 20k more so...
The first mustang model that is actually somewhat attractive looking.
This is very very "cheap"
But not. :
really love the angle at 5:30 .....nice job bro
Test drove it yesterday and it is a powerful, powerful car, yet more quiet than one would think in the cabin. I don't need to go fast but I'd like the security of knowing that the speed of this car can get me out of tight spaces. Ford did not include the sunroof as an option and does not recommend aftermarket install because it would compromise the integrity of the vehicle.
this tone of voice is the sound of all car reviews
Why do I love it when you say interior so much?
Thanks for the review Kyle. My 2016 GT Premium should be delivered in a few weeks. WOOOO HOOOO!!!!
Your reviews throughout your channel are awesome. Love how detailed they are and the presentation
I can't decide if I want this or the 2016 Camaro SS. Going to try and get one on summer 2019 hopefully if they're still kicking around.
EluciaDeLuteIma never get a Camaro lol they really suck unless you just want to track it
5 years late but the 16-18 Camaro is a bit better than the 15-17 mustang, 18+ is quite the upgrade for the mustang, I own a 21 GT myself.
@@BP-fx3qc I ended up with a GT pp and then the GT350 because I had transmission issues on the GT.
Best car review ever thank you, everything explained and I enjoyed the video
Great review. This is an excellent car. I have a 2016 GT with the Perf Package and it truly is a fantastic car.
Subscribed. A very concise, well written review. Please don't take this in any way but as praise but your parents must be proud of you. (I'm an old guy.)
Thumbs up for the instant amazing exhaust notes to start the video.
Brooooooooooo how can you talk all the time for more than half hour ?? :O Pure talent !!!!
Dashcam Dumbasses true story here ^^
Dat colour looks fantastic in that blue and also the price is ok for a sports car like this and I love the design it looks fantastic great job
Beautiful Deep Impact Blue exterior and Jet Black rims combo! Ford hit a home run with the S550 Mustang!
not a ford guy at all but man I love this new mustang!! that blue with those black wheels are perfect!!
This reviews are getting better and better!
Enjoy your in-depth reviews kyle, you've gotten better over the years. Keep it up~

this is my dream car its fast than a challenger hellcat
Jim Nesta Cutting weight either increases the price or decreases options i.e rear seats, sound deadening, leather interior
I'm not a Mustang guy but I do really like the new ones. And excellent video as always.
What a coincidence. Paul from SOL was just talking about the new Mustang as a daily and then this video pops up in my feed :)
Can you please tell me why this car has Michelin PSS when the factory tires are Pirelli P Zeros. I'm guessing by the time you got this press car the Pirelli's that came with the car were too worn for a accurate assessment?
They used line lock too much 😂
This is got to be the nicest normal mustang i have ever seen.....
You did some smooth shifting my friend. I am still learning manual myself. Great video
