@LoudNinja1 Yes, with You Yangs and Lysterfield closed due to rain damage, Buxton is in incredibly good condition. It's a credit to the guys who made it and a pity it's not a bit closer to town but well worth the trip...

I think you might be in Buxton England as there are no universities near this ride as its out in the middle of nowhere (Buxton, Victoria, Australia). If so, 10, 547 miles in answer to your question :-)

+EdJ The trails here vary from Easy through to Difficult according to the IMBA ratings with the bulk of them being Intermediate. Have a look on the Murrindindi Cycle Club web page which has the map there. The trail up beside Dyes Lane is an Easy rating but is only about 1.5 kms long. The rest is basically intermediate in nature. If your youngest has reasonable bike skills they should be able to get around the intermediate trails. The main issues are coming down off the summit there are a few gravelly corners so just keep the speed under control. The other ones are the trail areas where they plummet down the side of a valley and up the other side and do the same again. These are made to hit about 30-40 kmh at the bottom to get you up the other side using your momentum. If they're not confident, this might cause them a bit of climbing if they cannot maintain the speed. Bottom line is, if they have reasonable skills they will get around the circuit.

+TheMTBChannel thx for response youngest is 13 and been riding intermediate stuff but not happy on loose rock so seeing mostly singletrack dirt is great - done a lot of natural stuff so we live with gravel - though I find the IMBA intermediate rating is a bit wide which is why vid's like yours really help big time
I'll look out for the valley side stuff - suspect I'll be crap and young 'un will tell me just like riding a pump track! cheers
