These Broken Pieces means a whole lot to me. As it's my favorite song I have written, and is the name of my album. This song means a lot to me for many reasons. One reason being this song has been in my heart for a long time. I had a creative spark and wrote the first verse of this song a long time before I finished it. I kept trying different choruses and pre-choruses, but nothing was fitting in with what I was feeling. I took a break from the song because I had lost inspiration, but it was still always on my mind. Around a year later, I knew I had to finish it. I knew how much the hurt in this song related to me. The feeling of loneliness, desperation, and a tiny bit of hope. So finally, I REALLY thought about what this song was about and meant to myself. It meant so much that I finished it, and I finally felt a satisfaction of relief...knowing this song has honestly been the best song I have ever written. This is a song for the people that feel out of place. That feel like they have took a turn for the worst instead for the better. For people that don't know where they are going in life. So I hope if you relate to this song you will take a listen, and I hope you love it.
