Everyone and their mother posted the soundtrack already. I was late to the party not knowing the game came out already. But as I think about it, more eyes for the beauty of the soundtrack of Frostpunk 2 is a good thing. So I will keep my upload, and whatever revenue kicked up to the big skipper as it should.
I personally think both soundtracks are about as good as each other, but it's like trying to compare apples to oranges. They're both meant to convey different things, so comparing them to eachother is very difficult. I think they both portray what they were trying to go for very well.
@@demonicflames1678true. But from personal preference, to just listen to them while doing other stuff, i prefer the soundtrack of the first game as well.
@@demonicflames1678 FP 1 is about survival more than politics, so the emotion conveyed in the osts are...purer, easier for the listener to understand and resonate with. FP 2 on the other hand, the OSTs reflect the relationships between multiple factions and their complex motivations playing tug-of-war in the soundtrack. Personally I also prefer FP 1's soundtrack for that desperate, raw emotional purity. FP 2's OST is over the place because of the nature of the game's setting, it's very fitting, but I also find it much harder to enjoy as a result.
Stalwarts, oh look we made a oil based radio neat. The other faction: LETS INJECT OIL INTO OUR BLOOD TO WARM US UP!
You know things are rough when the fascist and theocracy factions are two of the MORE reasonable ones lol
