I was 15 when I started listening to Marillion; at first I thought like you Bas, but only a few months later I started appreciting Steve Hogarth, I really like his voice, and it's still amazing after 24/5 years in the band, and probably over 30 singing live... Try out songs like Neverland, Invisible Man, House, If My Heart Were a Ball, Made Again and Easter to feel the beuty... Fish is great, and so are his solo albums! I take no side!

It really doesn't get much better than this - well maybe if they threw in Grendel or Don't Hurt Yourself instead of Lavender! :)

Steve. And he don`t at all look like that. He has done a fantastic job in my opinion. This vid is without any clearing up of the sound quality on the recording. This is not a band that needs freshening up. What would you do? Get a younger singer in?Would look stupid and just would not work.
He sings it better than fish does now

why is there always a point when the band thinks they can do it without eachother and one leaves, marillion was the best progressive rock band ever, but without fish it is just an band, fishes part in the band wasn't everything, but without him the band doesn't have a meaning anymore, i am a 16 year old kid who listens the old marillion every day, and however everybody is laughing, i cant live without it.
