It takes me a minimum 4 hours to watch each episode. Why you may ask. Because I always pop up after about 10 minutes of watching, and go tend to my garden. 😊
as always, a great way to start the day.❤😂 lt finally cooler off here in South Texas, lower 90's and 60' for our night time lows. lts a lot better than 100+ and upper 70s to 80 for lows.😅😅😊😊❤❤❤
Good morning🌝great placement of the pinks! I love Pink Profusion Salvia fabulous performer. I planted some of the Phlox last year and was so pleased with it too, no powdery mildew on it here in Northern Virginia which is a miracle. Yours should perform beautifully your area is a bit lower with humidity. Have a great week🌝🍂🍁🍂
I don't have Pink Profusion Salvia but I do have New Dimension Rose Salvia and I absolutely love it. I also have a purple salvia but the pink is sooo bright and electric looking compared to the purple ❤.
@@growformegardening I have pink Phlox (I think Bright Eyes?) paired with my purple Salvia (Midnight Purple) and I have white Phlox paired with my pink Salvia and both combinations look great 👍😉. I dont always buy Proven Winners varieties as sometimes they are twice the price here in Canada unfortunately. I guess because they are shipped here from the US.
I’m becoming a sedum convert! We have to take down some big poplars that are threatening the house, so more sun in the yard as a bonus. So….sedum! Thanks guys! Zone 3 Manitoba 🇨🇦👏🍁
Loving all the pink! Great choices. I have the Luminary Opalescence Phlox and have been absolutely blown away by it the past 2 years. Mine are still flowering and the foliage is in perfect condition. Glad to hear you enjoyed the Pride and Joy enough to plant it in the landscape. I plan to add that to my garden also.
Just discovered you guys and absolutely love your channel! I especially like how you put the name on the screen of each plant that you talk about. Your garden is magnificent!!!
Thank you for another great video! I love the way everything is so full and luscious! I was inspired to redo my front landscape by watching your videos. A neighbor came over and told me I was planting things way to close, look at the tag, urg. I was running out of plants but when more Peachberry ice came in stock I doubled what I had planted. Hoping for a beautiful spring garden next year! Can’t wait, especially on for DA roses. If you don’t plant them close you end up like mine faded compost with leaves, acorns distracting from the plants. Next spring I’m filling it in tight! Thanks again, Mary B
Your garden is so inspiring. Oh how I wish I could grow all those hydrangeas in my Oklahoma garden. The few I have really struggle. Getting ready to move them around hoping to find spots where they are happier. I love your videos. I always make a list of plants to try from your recommendations.
Do you two have houseplants? Would you consider doing a houseplant tour? Maybe next early summer when you can bring them outside for a bit so that you're keeping your inside private?
Hi Eric and Christopher 👋 Great choices and great placement... 😊 I love how lush and gorgeous your garden (s) look. It always looks so much better placing plants closer then recommended. I have always heard that they need spaced out more for proper air flow and to prevent deseases etc. How does that work? 🤔 would it be worse here in zone 9b Texas Gulf Coast with all the heat and humidity? Thank you for sharing this with us. Take care and enjoy the rest of your week. Jen
We do have an area where we dispose of our yard waste that we sometimes call the compost, but we don’t maintain it in a way that we could use it in the garden

haha that's great
Finally, gardeners who plant perennials more closely than I do! 😍
Love it

That sounds a LOT better than it had been for you down there. This morning it is mid 40s, seeing a huge color change outside

@@juanramos.jr.7948I am right there with you 😊 I garden in zone 9b Texas Gulf Coast. And I am definitely enjoying this little cool off!
You are my favorite channel, I love to watch your improvements. So down to earth and fun. You are an inspiration to keep working in the garden.
Yay! Thank you!
I am so looking forward to seeing your garden in the Spring! I love pink.
Me too!!
Pink in the garden is always a great choice! Nice job! I loved them all! 😎
Thanks so much! 😊
Pink, my favorite color in the garden.

That was a great pic for fall planting guys, can't wait to see them in the spring with you.
Can't wait!

Welcome! We are excited to have you with us!
Absolutely a very good choice of color 👌🤩 I love that you place them near it will be beautiful 😍
Thanks so much 😊
Playing the blues salvias is a stunner. I’ll keep my eye out for the sedum and yarrow. Beautiful garden as always.
Thank you!!

I'm glad you stuck to your plan!

You'll find the right spot!
😀” life is too short for proper plant spacing” ha ha yes!
It sure is!
I have that phlox and the white one. I love it! I have it planted in front of a Quick fire fab and some Russian sage. They blooms all summer! Amazing!
Very nice!
Fabulous, guys. 👍
Thanks
Beautiful as always
Thank you! 😊

We haven't done a lot with houseplants but we are going to be bringing some things inside and I can see that ballooning!

I feel like the garden is working itself out in that regard. We tend to go for plants that are improved to avoid a lot of issues
@@growformegardening thank you 😊
Cool.
Thanks!
Happy Autumn guys ♡ lovely work and garden
Same to you!
Great video!! What are some plants you wouldn’t buy in clearance - besides PW roses 🌹
Good question. I would say some evergreens...they grow slowly so if they look cruddy they will take a long time to recover
I stuck my broken bit of sedum in the ground and it took, so yes to doing this! For reference, I'm zone 4 Montana y'all.
That's great!
Did I hear mention of a compost pile? Why have I never noticed that before?? Where do you compost??
Well its more of just the place we put yard waste instead of putting It in the landfill, it isn't a pile we tend to
LOVE your videos!!!! Have you all ever shared the dimensions of your various beds?
I don't think we have ever done something official, but they vary quite a lot
❤❤❤❤❤❤
🌸🌸
Great video! Do you compost the plants you are digging out? I’m new to gardening and learning.
We do have an area where we dispose of our yard waste that we sometimes call the compost, but we don’t maintain it in a way that we could use it in the garden
@@growformegardening makes sense. Thank you!
I notice you don't have any Irises. Have you ever tried growing them?
We have, but they haven’t done so well. User error!
Hi may I know where bought Monty? I need an evergreen that is tall but narrow like Monty. Pls. Where can I I get it?
We bought it at a local garden center that carries Iseli Nursery plants
