Just had my eyesight test done, is there standards of the eyes to become a marksman similar to a sniper? And curious if its just the one eye down the scope that matters? Cheers
Not neccessarily bud, if you've passed the basic entry level requirement for sight then it won't hinder you. Loads of lads had military specs if they required them. Snipers though i may have to look into that but if you can't see anything then i guess you aren't going to hit much lol.
Want to learn how to map read prior to joining next year but, don’t know how to go about it. how would you go about it, as in would you buy a compass similar to one used in rt any tips ?

Unfortunately I didn’t pay attention enough to achieve marksman. But at least I now have a green lid. Thank you very much for the influence you had on younger me to continue going for the dream. Can’t wait to tick tock round the parade square come Friday!
