I totally agree! There aren't enough aviation shows on TV and that is something that ought to be fixed! =P If there are shows about aviation is usually about accidents and such... =/
This is why RUclips is so awesome, it gives people in the flying community the opportunity to show the rest of the world that aviation is for everyone and that there are some awesome people out there doing it and teaching it!

When I was training for my commercial ticket and needed to build up some hours fairly quickly, I rented a c150 and flew around this area for a week. It was the most incredibly beautiful place I've EVER flown in my life. Every moment of every flight was just jaw droppingly amazing. This should be on all pilot's bucket list.

What great show Josh... I bought a '61 182, in 2003.. pponk 0470+50, 3blade, stol kit, 8.00 mains, new interior, upgraded panel, GPS etc.. if only I still had it.. I'd be there. Had to let it go in '07. Haven't flown since then. Your vids, and others, help fill that empty place inside. Thankyou, and safe flying.

Josh, I've followed these since the beginning of your aviation journey. Wonderful! And the caliber of the video is getting to documentary level, dude!! You could sell your series here to the big production houses. :). Even more than the amazing 4K video now is your editing skill and graphics and music choice. I've been an audio/video producer for many years. Your productions skills, for an aviation enthusiast as your mainstay, are national in caliber! Keep up the AMAZING work! I love traveling with you.. And it's fun to note that you're very 'food' focused too. LOL You always mention the 'next meal'.. I SO get that.. LOL..

You were the first You Tube channel I ever subscribed to Josh. It was a long time ago now but it gave me the incentive to start my own flying channel as I had recently retired from being a primary school headteacher here in the UK. Since then I have produced a very basic weekly video which covers my grass roots flying in a French Jodel but I must say that I think this series is truly awesome on all fronts. The content is excellent, the filming is spectacular, the music brilliant and the scenery wonderful. Well done you! 😀 👌 👏 🇬🇧

Isn’t Monument Valley incredible? In January of 2016 I took a trip fromABQ. to SFO. On a commercial airline and the pilot 👨🏼‍✈️ , for whatever reason I don’t remember, treated us to a “low level “ (10,000’) flight ✈️ over the Valley. Even from that altitude, it was stunning. I don’t remember why we were allowed to fly that course, but I’m eternally grateful.

Really enjoying the mini-series/travel format of your recent videos, Josh. The production value is excellent! It's your trips like this and Alaska that help keep me focused on why I'm getting my PPL; so I can go out and do things like this. One of Jason's courses is definitely on my list and you've forced me to add a trip up to Alaska for a float rating after your Alaska series (twist my arm, right?). Keep up the excellent work and looking forward to part 3. Cheers!

Nice shot of Comb RIdge! There's a lot to see in that area. The Hovenweep compex to the East (round towers vs the cliff dwellings elsewhere), The Grand Staircase Escalante to the west. Bears Ears, Butler Wash, House on Fire Ruin, Cedar Mesa, Capitol Reef, Valley of the Gods just down the road, Canyon de Chelly to the SE, a radioactive tailing tomb outside of Mexican Hat (probably can't visit that lol), the list goes on and on.
At first it looked like your drone caught a glimpse of a cliff dwelling but I think it was just rock falls. The ancestral Puebloans lived all over the area (fyi - The Navajo are descendants from tribes in NW Canada and Alaska. They came much later). The Hopi and Pueblo, it is believed, are the descendants of what is known as the Anasazi.
As always, superb videography. Bummer about the sound.
