James "Jim" Ling, a soldier of the 8th Division Signals Unit, became a prisoner of war after the fall of Singapore in 1942. Captured by the Japanese, he endured the brutal conditions of Changi Prison and was forced to build the infamous Thai-Burma Railway. This is his story of survival, resilience, and the horrors of war.
