My Au pair year finishes in the middle of august. if you’re going to be in the Frankfurt area dm me on instagram and I can put you in touch with some people :) if not, the best way to find people in your area are on Facebook groups. Search ‚au pairs in „city name“‘. Bumble bff is also great

I think it very much depends on your family, and you would have to ask them. I wasn't going to study in Germany so I didn't come across this situation.

Each family is different. Some families may not be so friendly, but from my personal experience, my host family is very nice, accommodating and generous. You just have to choose your family carefully.

@@md.jaberahmed to be an Au pair you first have to get offered a position from a family. You need a contract and a letter of invitation from them, in order to get a visa appointment. You should be able to find more information on Au pair world, or on the German consulate and/or embassy website.

Hey! It depends on what kind of visa you have, and where you're from. I had a friend who had a European passport, which meant that she didn't need a visa to work in Germany. As such, she could work multiple jobs with no problems. But, on the Au Pair visa in Germany, you're legally not supposed to work other jobs. I'm not sure how it is in other countries though.
I am German and was an au pair in the US for two years from 2014-2016. it’s fun watching an au pairs everyday life in my own country 😃❤️
