Marycarl is such an old soul. She takes pride in everything she does. I love the way Dad spends time with her. Makes me think of my daughter and her dad. He taught her a lot about nature and she loved it so much she became a master naturalist. She now takes people out on the bayous for photo tours. She is also an amazing photographer. I just love watching your relationship with her. Y'all are good parents for sure!

If you want a treat for Moody and the boys, when you extend the pasture put a very strong post into the ground and thread on those big circular brushes used by road sweepers with brackets above and below to hold them in place. Apparently they make the very best stratching posts for cows.
Stephanie Wilson...... love your idea of a " brush on a pole" for the cows and goats. I also suggested that they take a tree trunk from the woods and sink it 3ft in the ground and they can scratch and rub on that. Scratching post for free! God Bless!
one of my very favorite Cog Hill Easter eggs is when one of the Men in Black is running through the background like he’s fleeing the scene of a crime! 🖤🦆🖤
Absolutely my favorite farm videos. Y'all are straight up the best. No drama, no fussing out your viewers and so respectful to each other and those who follow you. I agree completely. I've quit watching people who do that kind of stuff. It is such a relief to be able to relax and enjoy being here with this wonderful family. Love from Arkansas. 💖💖💖💖💖
❤ I love what you said some people just don’t realize just be respectful course I guess they don’t care I guess they just are shooting for a certain audience
Just wanted to say, "Thank you for all that you do to support the lives of bees on your farm". After all, if it weren't for the bees, we wouldn't have much to eat. Thank you all for the wonderful work that you all do. Happiness!
MaryCarl is so creative. She has tons of natural talent. She already can be a professional at photography and flower arranging. You go girl, I can't wait to see how your talents develop.
Good Morning Jason and crew. That Moody is a hoot. Am looking forward to seeing the field of sunflowers, without a doubt will be beautiful. It's cool that the other Geese stepped up to take care of the babies. I've always thumped a watermelon. Love a good sweet watermelon
I check the belly color the more yellow or white the riper along with the dryness of the vine, also the drier the riper! Never could determine anything with a thump!!
My friend who has animals has found a trick that helps keep the flies down. She takes a spray bottle and fills it with water and peppermint oil. She then sprays on the animals. Flies do not like the peppermint oil so for the most part they stay away. The only downside is you have to do it once a day.
Good Morning y’all! Jason, you can just see how healthy your animals are. Moody’s coat is gorgeous! Your Zinnias are beautiful too! Zinnias and Dahlias are 2 of my favorite cut flowers. I had a cat that loved watermelon, she’d sneak it out of my bowl…God Bless all y’all and all the Cog Squad!
Morning Cog Hill! The flowers are beautiful. Love the baby goats. Maybe you could make the little girl, Selena or Luna. Both mean moon (for her moon spots) She has the most beautiful pattern. Love y'all.
Jason your flower garden is gorgeous and watching you and MaryCarl together Gathering your flowers and putting them into a presentation event arrangement of a bouquet was precious. I wish I lived close enough to you to go by the flowers every week they are beautiful. Love you guys 💞
Hi MaryCarl those flowers are beautiful. You do a very good job arranging them. If I lived closer I would buy a bunch off you every day. Take care. 🌞🇨🇦
The flower arrangement that MaryCarl made were beautiful! I actually like wild flowers more than regular flowers, even some weeds have the prettiest flowers. Jasons dance even made Peaches look up from her watermelon. It made me laugh, Peaches looked like she was thinking, "what is he doin?"😅😂🥰
You start my week out right. Lovely, lovely video. Loved all the time with the animals. Moody is so affectionate. Love Jason's dance challenge to Lester. LoL 😂. Saw it on Facebook. You two guys are the best!!!! 😂💞
Another beautiful day on the farm. I love all the animals and the relationship you have with them but today Moody was so funny trying to get more food. Moody raised the roof 🤣. The flowers are looking so pretty. Watermelon all around!!!! Great rain dance Jason ☺️.Thank you for sharing. Have a awesome day 😎
You should have done your rain dance!! ☺️😏🙋. I know I can always count on you, Brooke and Mary Carl and Grampa Adler to talk to the animals and love on them. I know there's more......that love and understanding..... You all have a great day.
Mary Carl's flower bouquets are beautiful! That was sweet of Brooke to help with the planting even though gardening isn't her favorite thing. I love watching Mildred's nose move when she eats the short grass. Mooman is such a sweetheart. Goodness, Sour Cream. I hope one of your babies hatches this time. The baby goats are adorable! Yay for yummy watermelons! And Jason, I literally laughed out loud when you did the rain dance worm across the screen. Love you guys! 💖 💖💖💖💖
Good morning folks, always an awesome visit with the animals. Love the asmr with Peaches 😆 🐷 Flowers are looking incredible. I grew mammoth sunflowers last year and they turned out to be almost 10 feet tall. We got tons of seeds harvested too. I’ll do it again this year along with corn and pumpkins. Was the the WORM Jason? 😂. Great day, Chad.
Loved the boys club meeting with Jason, Moody, the Sheriff and the boys! Felt like I was privy to a great meeting of the minds, like the Knights of the Round Table! ❤️
Good morning Smith family and Cogsquad! When the baby goats were born a lady in the comments said Fefe’s baby girl sure is fancy, and I thought she sure is. Today when Jason was mentioning naming that little girl and brother, I thought Fancy would be a great name for Fefe’s fancy baby girl. Just a thought…Thanks for another great video. ❤️ 😊 🌻
Your videos make me feel so happy. In the world we are living in now...thats rare. Keep up the great job of living your dream Smith family! You are doing everything right and so deserve all the great things this channel has brought you. I have my whole family hooked on Coghill!
Jason yours and MC’s flower garden is so beautiful. I can’t wait to see all the sunflowers and other flowers all come up. It’s gonna be amazing out there. Moody kinda acted like he would eat more watermelon if there was more of the inside left. He just wasn’t interested in the rind.
I just love seeing Moody and all the animals, I think you should give the juice to Moody she likes the juice and then Peaches can have the rest. Glad you got a good one this time. Marycarl and Jason the flowers are just beautiful, so so colorful. And the sunflowers you and Brooke sprinkled all around they will be like sunshine on your farm. Thanks for sharing and making me smile with all the babies and all. Those baby goats are just to prescious, love the spotted one. Glad all the Geese take over the new goslings and I hope Mama gets a few eggs that hatch for her. Any sign of new baby Peacocks yet? sure hope some hatch. God Bless All.
I hope Sourcream hatches out some of her eggs she sitting on. Sweet girl💖 I love hearing Peaches eat her watermelon. Glad you finally got a good tasty one. Love ya guys. God bless 🙏❤
Good morning Jason, Brooke, and Mary Carl. The animals are looking so good!! That's wonderful for the other geese to take a part in raising the babies!!! I hope Buttercup hatch a couple of new babies!!! Keeping my fingers crossed. Much love for you all.
Peaches probably wondered about you Jason as she is gorging on that luscious watermelon and you are doing a belly crawl rocking horse in front of her!! So funny!! Blessings and thank you for sharing your lives with us!!
I see some ?cow (big) pies in the pen, the pallet based compost station, and the pile of bedding in this video whichngit my curiosity going. In one of the upcoming videos will you review what you are doing, show us how your compost station is working for you, talk about how your system is working in the summer heat, and remind us where/ how you're using your proceeds? Maybe a couple of weeks from now when we're all in the full heat of summer?
I just can’t wait to see your wildflowers in bloom! Your zinnias are glorious! My chickens will eat a watermelon til nothing is left but the skin. I mean, if Peaches ever gives them a chance, you could give it a try. Like piranhas!
I just love you guys. When I see you've posted a video it's the first thing I click on. You always bring a smile to my face and brighten my whole day. Thank you.
Absolutely my favorite farm video Your animals are so special Love your flower garden Can I say what two beautiful bouquets Marycarl made I love flowers I’m just so happy I found you guys Love the rain dance at the end 😂 👏
Praying for rain Jason!! I have the same problems with picking the right watermelon and I agree it is very frustrating. Why do you suppose it is hit or miss, what ensures a watermelon is sweet, juicy and crunchy?? Those are my criteria. I have the same problem with oranges!!! Have a great day Jason😋
The chickens will eat the watermelon. 🍉🐓 Mary Carl is a natural when it comes to floral bouquets 💐. She's so talented in many ways. 💞 I still think the little twin goat should be named SPECKLES. He's soooo adorable. They all are! ♡♡♡
Jason, When I was growing up on our dairy farm in Vermont, my all-black Holstein bull calf turned into a steer, and loved to have some apples...he was a bottle-fed calf so we bonded with him before, during, and after his feedings...when he was weaned we introduced him to sliced apples and grain and he ate that combo right up until freezer camp...Cheers from Maine.
Good afternoon Cog Hill and all of the Cog Squad. The flower garden is gorgeous. Peaches and Cream only likes infants. Once they grow into toddlers she is through with them. Time for more infants.
I know that wild geese will aim for 2 to 3 cluches per year....You're going to have to decide what to do if you start doubling or tripling your goose flock every year.
Good idea to grow your own watermelon,🍉Jason. You’ve got the land now. There’s nothing more disappointing than looking forward to a tasty watermelon only to have the flavor fall flat.☹️ Glad you got a good one this time.😋 We are right there with you every time you slice one open, anticipating, hoping for success. As always, from CA🏖take care. 🙏🏼🌧🕺🏻
I loved this long video with all the 40 stories. Fingers crossed for Sour Cream hatching her goslings, Ozila hatching her pea chicks and y’all keeping all of the new kids.
VERY NICE TO SEE ALL THE BABYS GETTING ALONG ==THEY ARE CUTE AS A BUTTON== SOUR CREAM MORE BABYS ?? WOW HOPE THEY GET BORN THIS TIME=== FLOWERS LOOK GREAT == HOPE FOR LIGHT RAIN===HUGS TO ALL
I wish Marycarl would start her own channel...with her knowledge of all feathered animals and her love for flowers...even if she only posted once a week, I bet she would have a huge following, I'd be one for sure! Start a college fund with that...Great video, loved the babies, and of course all the regulars...Peaches tore into that watermelon like a pro!
Good Morning ☀️ I love waking up knowing it’s time for a Cog Hill video. I know it’s a lot to do one every day but I know thousands of people that would watch them. Watching Moody lift that goat pen was hilarious. He said you can’t stop me from getting in there if I really want to Dad. 🙃. Do you think he needs more food since he’s growing ? So I take it the other Mama Goat isn’t having babies right now ? Which is ok as long as she’s ok ! Ozella and Sour Cream are going to give her some babies. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 Absolutely Love Love the Flower 🌺 farm and can’t wait to see the field of seeds start blooming. I hope it doesn’t sound strange but I just Love your Family. I wish I could be your neighbors. 🙏 Marycarl has an eye for arranging those flower 💐 bouquets. Along with her Feather babies. I’ve got to go plant some seeds because we are expecting rain ☔️ today. I’ll try to send some your way. Ohio is a crazy weather. So I better start planting. I Love Black Eyed Susan’s. Just love them. 🌼 I loved that song 🎵 “Home” in the one video. It was you Jason all the way. June 4th was 3 years that I lost my husband and it’s been rough. He would have been packing us all up and moving if he seen your video’s. He wanted to do that anyway and I should have let him. 💔 Lotsa Love and Many Blessings to y’all Nora🥀
Nora I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending my love and prayers. 🙏 I also enjoy watching Coghill in the mornings, sure does make the day brighter. 🌅 Praying you have a beautiful day. 💐 ❤️ 😊
Don,it beat yourself up, Nora. If he was anything like my husband, who is now gone, too, he would have done it anyway, I would have just ended up accepting it.
@@coleneritchie5625 He was a Semi driver and he would come home and say let’s move here, let’s move there. He was only 54 when he passed away from issues of Diabetes and Congestive Heart failure. He was a Good man and a Great Father. We were together for 35 years and it seems like the last year and a half we got even closer. We prayed he would just go to sleep and not wake up. That’s exactly what happened. The last 8 hours of his life we sang and laughed and reminded one another how much we had been through. I thought he was taking a nap but he never woke up. 😔 Thank you for your kindness. 🎚 Our oldest grandson who is 7 still has a hard time about it.
Good morning Smith family …..Cog hill 40 …. I just love y’all …. Cog hill 40 and Lumnah acres are my favorite families …..how are your veggies growing? …..have a wonderful week …stay safe, healthy, happy, & God bless ❤️🙏🏽

You walked up on the goats filing a police report to the sheriff about Moody trespassing and taking their food and bowl🤣🤣🤣

Y'all have a beautiful home. Glad I started watching Y'all. Jason, you can dance good.

I check the belly color the more yellow or white the riper along with the dryness of the vine, also the drier the riper! Never could determine anything with a thump!!
Jason, Mary Carl’s gotten so tall! Soon she’ll almost reach you 😍❤️
Good morning everyone at Cog Hill Farm!!! 😊❤️💗🇨🇦
You have done a great job with your flower garden. The flowers are beautiful, and the bees appreciate them too.

My gosh, MaryCarl has got an eye for flower arranging!! Such talented young lady! 🥰
Snap, Krackle and Pop would be good names for the triplets.
I can't help but love the close up shot of Moody. He is just one oversize, giant size puppy dog. How can anybody not want to just hug on him.

Chickens 🐓love watermelon 🍉 too, ours did. We would drop it and it broke up easier to eat for the pigs 🐖 and the cows 🐄.
MaryCarl is looking so grown up, tell her to slow down 🥰 The flowers are absolutely stunning.
Wow Jason your flower garden looks amazing. Love all the animals especially baby goats and ducklings .
Jason I love how you talk to all the animals. Your flowers look so beautiful. Can't wait to see the next batch bloom!!!!
Love Cog Hill Farm!! Thank you for sharing your lives with us. ❤ Also the chickens would love sone of that watermelon. Praying y'all received rain.❤🙂
Hello Jason. I love how you have conversations with the animals. Have a great day.
The flower arrangements are beautiful
You all have so much energy! I think seeing how everything 's coming together helps! So beautiful! Flowers are awsome! I like your dance!
Good Morning yall! Love all the critters your farm looks amazing. Putting my sunflowers in today too, my dahlia bed is growing awesome!

Hope the rain dance works! :) Nice boquets of your flowers!
Did you get a new camera? The picture is awesome!
Mary Carl is growing right before our eyes. So beautiful. Don’t every change girl.
Good morning from Pennsylvania luv you guys 🥰
If MaryCarl did the flower arranging, she is VERY good at it!
Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
Absolutely Love Love the Flower 🌺 farm and can’t wait to see the field of seeds start blooming.
I hope it doesn’t sound strange but I just Love your Family. I wish I could be your neighbors. 🙏
Marycarl has an eye for arranging those flower 💐 bouquets. Along with her Feather babies.
I’ve got to go plant some seeds because we are expecting rain ☔️ today. I’ll try to send some your way.
Ohio is a crazy weather. So I better start planting. I Love Black Eyed Susan’s. Just love them. 🌼
I loved that song 🎵 “Home” in the one video. It was you Jason all the way.
June 4th was 3 years that I lost my husband and it’s been rough. He would have been packing us all up and moving if he seen your video’s. He wanted to do that anyway and I should have let him. 💔
Lotsa Love and Many Blessings to y’all
Nora🥀
Nora I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending my love and prayers. 🙏
I also enjoy watching Coghill in the mornings, sure does make the day brighter. 🌅
Praying you have a beautiful day. 💐 ❤️ 😊
Don,it beat yourself up, Nora. If he was anything like my husband, who is now gone, too, he would have done it anyway, I would have just ended up accepting it.

He was a Semi driver and he would come home and say let’s move here, let’s move there. 😔
Thank you for your kindness. 🎚
Our oldest grandson who is 7 still has a hard time about it.
