- In this video, I break down how to approach your programming & nutrition. A few months back I uploaded a video talking about the same topics but at a different seminar with different questions, let me know how this one compares to the last.

That was informative. He is a natural teacher. All that knowledge of human physiology he has from his background is going to pay dividends for his strongman career. Cant wait till April.
Oh boy did it - I’d say this prediction aged reasonably well
@@johnsonhemingway3432 In deed :)
Getting ready for my first strongman competition in December and I found this video incredibly helpful, thank you Mitch!
Possibly the best 21 minutes of information on the net right here !!!!!
You are an incredible teacher and this kind of content is amazing. The sign of a great teacher is to simplify without losing the key points you are trying to make.
Dr Moose.
I've watched several of his vids now, and that was the first thing I noticed too. Natural born teacher.🙂
Looking at this now, it’s no surprise the man’s already the Worlds Strongest Man. It will be awesome to see strong man in the years to come
You said that some of this might go over peoples heads, but i disagree. The way you present everything is so concise and professional. Im not much for strongman (165lb 5'11 guy might not be the build 😂) but you are a natural teacher. Love these seminar videos, ive learned a lot!
Rob Kearney, Lalas brothers and many more top 10 strongman are around 1.75m, novikov is also same height as Juji which is below 1.80m
Good stuff….and 100% accurate on the nervous system shutting down after something like a 5 rep max, trying to drop weight and do more but can’t….def a real thing!
Just did 3X5 bench today and reduced the weight by 40 pounds. I could only do 3 reps.
16k subscribers only but yet no one explains strongman as simple but in depth as you can.
Awesome video. I wish I was 30 years younger to take advantage of this advice. Cheers from Ottawa.
Very helpful. I come from a powerlifting background and am looking to compete in strongman this year. Programming for multiple events seemed daunting, but you made it very easy to understand
Mitch has such a great foundation based on his experience and background studies that I suspect many competitors don’t have, hence they need a coach.
This video is going to get some attention in the next few weeks no doubt
Thank you for all your information you truly break things down in a way where anyone can follow and understand keep up the great vids
This man knows and he became a demi god himself by running then powerlifting and strongman. He won 🏆 and deadlifted 1050 and overhead press I believe it was 440 or more lbs this man somehow became strength 💪 amazing story. I deadlift 500 at 175 lbs on trt I love this stuff I'm also a left-hand individual
Love the data based approach to everything
This series is exciting, also the fact that you’re great at the game is a major bonus! Looking forward to more eps. :)
I find this helpful because there are rarely any programs or programming in the web on strongman as opposed to PL and BB
Not a strongman at all, yet found this helpful. Cheers! Keep up the god work.
From the first video I've watched of mitch, I like his practical and scientific approach to training and free tips. That's why I subbed.
For ex, I like watching Brian Shaws videos but he never gives tips on anything. Lol
Alan thrall is another great natural athlete that gives great tips on strongmen workouts too.
Great stuff!! Filing this away under stuff I care to remember and apply!
Having watched a few of these I can see why he keeps winning/ or on podium so much
Very cool video, thank you for the information and congrats on the win!
Me watching this in my bed at night 😂
Congratulations. Thanks for sharing work out tips and nutrition advice.
Ive just found this video and its absolutely brilliant. Thank you.
Serious question? When you say "start at an effort of 7, for 5 weeks then take a de load to 50%.."
Does that mean start at 70% of one rep max and build the 2-5% each week, then de load to 50% of the one rep max?
Thank you again.
I did a strongman comp a decade ago and got 2nd place because I was not fit enough to keep up. I won the truck pull and heavy stuff but lost with the running events
Congrats Hoop!
I spent all that time looking at how tiny you made that chair look 😂😂😂
Thanks for sharing
💪💪💪💪💪
The nervous system focus is new to me and I’m curious where I can learn more about it.
Congrats 🎉
thank you moose
Very good 😃
Blessing us with Moose Pills

We're only 4 days out now for this Comp Mitch, Thank you for all the tips at this Seminar!
And Congrats on your win at the Arnolds!
Hey mitchell! Where do we go to get strongman ceritfied?
As PEDs increase the amount of nutrition you can absorb and decrease time needed for recuperation, what wold be the difference in number of times per week that you train a muscle group or exercise between a person training natural vs a person using PEDs?
Mitchell, how do we contact you to have you come out to Alberta for a Seminar?

Is it more beneficial to intake creatine before or after a workout? Or does it not matter? Thank you for the amazingly informative video!!
is it better to put fuel in your car before a long journey or after?
@@sharpestbulb preferably both
He said, near the begining of this video, he takes his 10g of creatine in the morning because when he remembers. For us, 5g is good
Is there a part 2?
❤
How many calories?
"To infinity and beyond"
The key is the Q&A, eh.
Hoooop
of course, with everything else that Moose does differently... he's left handed, too.
"secrets"...

I just spent 21 minutes listening to a thumb lecture me about my diet
That thumb can deadlift 980lbs, and push press well over 400lbs, I think he knows what he’s talking abt mate
@@AidenTStrong He's deadlifted 1048 before as well on a standard deadlift bar.
