- Col. (ret.) Lawrence Wilkerson's last positions in government were as Secretary of State Colin Powell's Chief of Staff (2002-05), Associate Director of the State Department's Policy Planning staff under the directorship of Ambassador Richard N. Haass, and member of that staff responsible for East Asia and the Pacific, political-military and legislative affairs (2001-02).

Before serving at the State Department, Wilkerson served 31 years in the U.S. Army. During that time, he was a member of the faculty of the U.S. Naval War College (1987 to 1989), Special Assistant to General Powell when he was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (1989-93), and Director and Deputy Director of the U.S. Marine Corps War College at Quantico, Virginia (1993-97). Wilkerson retired in 1997 and began work as an advisor to General Powell. He has also taught national security affairs at the George Washington University.

I thought I was the only irish person listening to this podcast, and you are right the video is stunning and it is heart-wrenching, put the problem is we feel this way because we are reasonable people, will Anthony blinken, haris, Biden, and Graham , feel the way we do and the way colonel wilkerson did after watching the video?, the answer is no these people have no respect for anything and care about nothing, the people need to vote these people out of office before it is too late and maybe it is already too late.

Like in Ukraine-Russia war lately, a NATO ballistic was used which destroyed a major ammunition depot in Russia, which led Russia to put forward a non-tolerant foreign/defense policy,i.e, Russia will launch his arsenal of nukes if he feels threatened by NATO / America any further.
So, just like in the Russian situation America is poking it's nose a lot in the Gaza case as well. And this won't help anyone.

I listen to many geo-political experts, but Col. Larry Wilkerson continues to be my favourite, followed by Mr Jeffrey Sachs. A lot of respect for this fine man.
First, I called my US Congressional representatives. Daily. All of them said "Israel has a right to defend itself." I told them I knew that was SHIT! I yelled for a few months at these paid government stooges; it meant NOTHING! I voted (absentee) and called my Representative's office & told him I cast my vote AGAINST him and I knew he was bought & paid for, not MY representative. I am meaningless. I am a peon at best. I HAVE NO CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATION.
My only consolation is that I am old.
So am l, but here in Spain and ltaly popular opinion is vastly different to that in the USA. wearing the keffiyeh is highly approved of and greeted with smiles, even though our governments are pathetic vassal states of the USA.
