    I grew up in Sri Rampai and consider myself very very familiar with Wangsa Maju, Setapak, Taman Melawati. I think these places are great places to invest or stay with so many new condo options, LRT line, highways, proximity to KL City, boosters such as TAR College which brings in thousands of new students every year who eventually graduate and work in KL, but still choose to stay in the area, even start a family.
    But out of the many many property videos and conversations, from you Sean, as well as other property investment experts, it seems these locations hardly ever pop-up in conversations. Like even a casual mention of places, usually will mention Bangsar, Mont Kiara, one of the Damansaras, etc. Closest one I hear also Sentul. Just wondering for people not living in Setapak/Wangsa Maju, is there a stigma or negative perception of the area? Just curious.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, the connecting bridge was already there long time ago due to the project site was previous a carpark. They are converting the carpark into an apartment

    • @cheahck4682
      @cheahck4682 Год назад +2

      yes, the apartment location previously was a car park that connected to the wangsa walk mall.

    • @iherng
      @iherng  Год назад

      But it's by the same developer. So when the site is not required, they used it as a carpark for the mall and LRT. Then when there's demand, they developed a project and reuse the connecting bridges again.

    • @rvinod85
      @rvinod85 Год назад +2

      Correct. Indiscriminate parking has increased because they demolished the car park. Not to mention that the entire area is already saturated to the point that on weekday peak hours the trains arrive so full at Sri Rampai that there’s no room to get on!

    To get into the retail areas n the roundabout between the condos and retails area really jem everyday,everytime now cannot imagine later on with more resident cars. Fuh! Think much wise of a purchase in those sunway condos,wangsamas n infiniti as that area dont share with any retail spaces or lrt so the road less congested n feel more peaceful.

  • @bevenaflame
    @bevenaflame Год назад +5

    Downside of the retail shops there in wangsa maju is that there is a lack of any Chinese hawker food etc. Mostly fast food. If you want Chinese food you’ll need to go to Sri rampai or desa setapak.

    • @bevenaflame
      @bevenaflame Год назад +4

      Also, I have reservations living so near to the LRT station due to traffic and congestion problems. Again, the land SFERA is on used to be a multi level car park, which was demolished for this. Hence, the usual double parking and congestion during peak hours is something to take into consideration….

    Hye Sean, very nice vid. With the accessibility and amenities, I think this place is very suitable for own stay considering the price. Especially for those who work in klcc. If possible, i would like to suggest you to review the connaught one, further by 20 minutes with mrt compared to sfera with lrt (to klcc), but cheaper by 100k i think.

      I agree.. even if its technically their land they should have a bit of moral compass to reserve a part of that land as the existing parking space, its not like the space is wasted because it still generate steady income from the monthly pass or day fees.. instead they make another fairly densed condo and add up to more congestion. This is a true display of capitalist greed. Malaysia is turning into Hong Kong 2.0 and its no wonder since even the developer from HK.
