very nice video! just some additions. you use a quite old unicycle, maxspeed of modern wheels are 12.5 to 19 mph. many wheels have now bigger batteries too, so a mileage of 30+miles is not uncommon, even 50+ is possible with bigger 18 inch wheels, which are nice for offroad biketracks. and one point you forgot (or i missed): electric unicycles get more stable the faster you go, with hoverboards its the other way round. but nicely done comparisson, thx
+HowToLou nice, thats the time to put on a helmet, wristguards and good heavy duty protection. like with motorcycles, never without protection ;) and respect the beeps as most of them dont have pedal tiltback. im getting a kingsong 16 for my city rides and maybe later this year the new 18" gotway with an offroad tire... got some nice hilly montainbike roads near me :)
+muhkuh0816 - Totally agree. At 8 mph, you don't need too much protection, but when you start getting faster than the human body can run, you can get into serious trouble. My Airwheel has been a great first wheel and its speed limit has kept me from injuring myself. When it finally wears out, I will go for more power and off road tire.
I have ridden a double wheel Airwheel. They are far easier to learn to ride than the single wheel, but are much heavier, so you can’t hop up curbs. The double wheel looks like an electric unicycle, but acts more like a hoverboard. People who want the electric unicycle, typically want the extra maneuverability, so there are very few double wheeled unicycles on the market.
i like the stability of the hover board, but i saw a guy on an electric unicycle at a campground....its pretty cool too,he had the better version...Nine Bot
+mokokawi - yeah it takes much more practice to be stable on an electric unicycle. Yes, Ninebot has more power. Gotway M-Super is the most powerful and best for off-road. It will even go up steps.
I am still riding this same Airwheel EUC. I need to replace the battery here soon, like this: ruclips.net/video/pivTVKsSuS0/видео.html I have moved out to the country and am considering getting a Gotway MSuper EUC so I can go off road.
Mc Mc That's no problem, I drive with my Kingsong KS14 to work every day and can stop very quickly. But anticipatory driving is important because you cannot stop completeley (drive 2 km/h is possible with skill). it's good enough for right for left situations (if the other driver does not stop too because he is so fascinated from your vehicle 😅)
+tubeyou123863 - yes it definitely improves your balance, but it doesn't feel anything like motorcycle. I think you would gain more transferable skills with a BMX bike. Take it to parks and bike trails.
@@HowToLou I'm so glad to hear! I haven't heard of a TG before. I 100 percent recommend getting a Gotway Mcm5 (like 500 used) acmv2 (the blue one only) or a used msuper 84v! If you are better financed than me they're dropping some absolutely crazy wheels like the RS, EX and Monster Pro that are astonishing. If I had to pick just one for a 900 dollar budget? 84v msx. It's an incredible wheel. Add clark pads and you can catch serious air. I'd say get an RS if you're well off, but a used msx is an awesome choice.
Nice video. Hoverboard is for fun while unicycle can serve as actual means of transportation

+muhkuh0816 - Great corrections and added info. Thank you!
+muhkuh0816 - Yeah, I have my eye on the Gotway Beast :)

Great lil family you got man :)
ur a good dad 👍👍
Thank you, it was very nice to see your video! Very useful.
maybe you could compare to a double-wheeled Airwheel for example?

Lou I'm friends with Robbie at school he told me about this channel :)
+Daniel Li - Robbie is a cool kid, and he is really good on his hoverboard. It was fun working with him. I also have a web site: HowToLou.com
Very nice comparison

Good video, intelligent review
how much does the air wheel coat and whats the total name of it i really want one
+khalid yousif - You can get an AirWheel for around $300 on Amazon. IPS is another good brand. The general name for them is Electric Unicycle
Are you still riding an EUC? If so what’re you using now?

Unicicle looks cool but what if someone cross your way suddenly(dog, kid etc.) - you can not stop? Like in town - is it safe for others go near?

would the unicycle improve balance more, looking for something to help my dirt bike skills as I cant get ride my bike enough due to my work

Did you continue with EUC's? I've got a few and I love it, they're 84v, slightly outdated perhaps, but extremely fun.
I still have my Airwheel and just picked up a TG for my daughter. Yep, love them!

I have my eye on the new Veteran Sherman. I moved to the country and that would be a great off roader.
@@HowToLou Yeah, it does look like it'd be good offroad.
I got a yellow hoverbored
what brand it is, for me to buy and its price how much is unicecly
+Jose Maria Huaman Carrasco - Airwheel, $300 US
good ;)
Damn Daniel; I mean lou, how many kids do you have?
+Dylan T - He does look like me, doesn't he?!! Nope, just friends :)
ok you're funny haha
I prefer electric Unicycle
nope i have a unicycle
+warren mosconi - me too, actually. I like that I can carry this into a store or office, and nobody notices. But yeah unicycles are cool.
